It works quite well, I have no complaints about it… I am actually watching the World Cup 2018 on it and so far it has been very useful.

  2. Frank L.

Just followed the instructions to set up and it works great. Cannot believe all the stations we can get and how wonderful the clarity is. Works as well with the battery as it does with being plugged in to a house outlet.

Great portable Tv, picture quality isn’t as great as an iPhone or iPad but for the money is great. Reception isn’t the greatest when using the antenna that attaches to the top, though I suspect that it is because of how the digital over the air signal works and not with how this unit works. When I used the antenna that has a cord on it and positioned the antenna up and out reception was much better. But this kit came with adapter so you could plug any antenna you wish. I used the media player on here and it recognized my 128GB usb drive. I could not make the SD slot recognize any drive when I was using a micro SD and adapter. All of my videos are in MP4 format. The menus are easy and simple to operate but when using the media player only the first 14 letters of each file name and also doesn’t sort the files alphabetically but sorts them by last date modified old to new (I may be wrong about this). I still feel that alphabetically then numeral ordering would have been better. When using the TV input there is a button on the remote “EPG” that is a nice 8 hour guide for that channel, Closed captioning works well because the speakers wont blow your socks off but is good enough when the TV is only 2 feet away from you.So far I put the battery though two cycles and have gotten about two and half hours out of each charge, this kit comes with an 110 AC and DC “cigarette lighter” male charge cables. I wish that a case came with the TV and could fit all the accessories it came with because the TV doesn’t feel like something that could take a drop to the ground. Dont lose the remote there alot of little functions that require the remote and cant be be done by the button on the TV.

The TV is mounted in the bathroom and we get lots of clear channels. It was easy to program, the TV almost programmed itself.

  5. MJR

This is an excellent TV. It replaces one of similar size that wore out and no longer is made. The picture is clear and I get all stations available in a 50-mile radius using an antenna I already have. Another review proved vital to setup: there is a very tiny on/off switch on the side of the TV that must be turned to the on position for the on button on the front of the TV to work. Another review said that the angle of the TV is not adjustable with the stand. That is not true. The angle can be adjusted so that it tilts up or down. I found using the buttons on the TV for setup worked more intuitively than using the remote for setup.

I just received this little TV & scanned for local channels. There is a 15-mile range limit mentioned in the manual when using the supplied antennas. All channels in my area are less than that, so they were all found flawlessly (including the sub-channels like 8.2 etc.). I didn’t do any other adjustments & picture quality is perfect. I live in Florida & got this in case of power outage from hurricanes. I was going to get a weather radio, but this is waaay better! Since I only want this for storm info in case of power outages, I did not use the remote control or try any of the other features. Also, as it is brand new I don’t know about the battery life yet, but so far I am very happy. There are three antennas supplied with the unit, but there is no description of what the differences are, or why you would use one over another. I used the telescoping one that attaches straight in without any wire.Looks like a perfect little TV if I need it, but let’s face it – I hope I never have to use it! 😉

Very happy with this little. Good picture, lots of channels. I cut the cable— free digital broadcasts. Thank you for making a good product and delivering it so fast. .

  8. floben

I love this little tv. Picture is great. I have not tested all the attachments or how long the battery last. Planning on using for emergencies (hurricane season ) and I am going to try it out on short road trips.

Back in the day, I cooked dinner while watching the news on a 5″ black-and-white analog TV. Digital arrived, and we couldn’t make it work. Smart phones arrived, but streaming apps didn’t work because the national network news doesn’t stream live. I bought a $100 12″ TV but it didn’t even scan all the available digital channels and the pictures were terrible or non-existent on the ones it did scan. This one did (once I figured out how to auto-scan; you need to use the buttons on the left as well as on the right), and the pictures are good, and the size is actually better for my kitchen. I needed to use the metal antenna on the long cord out to a greenhouse window, but hurray that Tyler provided that.

I’ve been house sitting a lot lately, and I like to watch the news in the morning while getting ready for work and wanted an affordable, portable option. I was surprised at the great picture quality! I also love that it has a sleep timer, as I like to fall asleep to background noise. It also gets way more channels than I expected. The only thing I would change would be the base; I wish it had some weight to it, as the TV can slide around a bit because it’s so light–but I think it’s actually suppose to be used as a mount. One other thing, actually read the directions–I’m one who just goes for it, but there are a couple of things that are good to know, such as it has a “master” on/off switch on the back of the unit. Took me a while to figure that out. 😀 The sound quality is a bit tinny, but honestly, it’s no worse than my 24-inch flat screen! But over all, I am extremely happy with this TV!
