Your browser does not support HTML5 video. It’s a great product. It’s not made out of the most premium materials and I didn’t expect it to be. The construction is good. It’s simple, does it’s job well, and the little thing can get pretty loud.If you want good sound for good value this little ting is well worth it.I attached a video, but it was recorded with me iPhone so don’t expect too much 😂. In the video it’s at half volume, so you can get a decent idea of how loud it can get.I’m definitely looking to buy two of the next level up since they connect to each other and can give me stereo sound. Since I’m a digital nomad portability with good sound is important to me and I believe Oontz will be my choice for the foreseeable future.

UPDATE: it seemed not to run as long so i decided to test the battery capacity with a usb tester. The light became solid indicating full charge at 800mah but it was still drawing power. Sure enough it continued charging for over an hour after indicating it was charged, reaching over 1700 mah. If your battery life sucks, let it charge for at least an hour or more after it tells you its done! This is an ultra compact Bluetooth speaker with a single small driver. It works great at low to moserate volume levels and lives its life on my desk at work, where I use it to play background music. I would pick one of the larger models if you have to deal with any background noise or want bass – this one is particularly lacking which is NOT a surprise at this size. Nothing this small can reproduce good low frequencies. I’m going to pickup one of the larger models to replace me old UE Boombox when it craps out, this small one has made me a believer in Oontz!

I have always enjoyed OontZ speakers and earphones, and I have all but a few of the models. No one comes close to their performance vs. price. I wanted the Solo for the size, and for the ridiculous price. A very solid performer. It falls just short of my Bose Micro, but you can buy three Solo’s and have money left over for the price of the Micro. Bang for the buck, for sure. I have spilled water on it and it didn’t faze it. Easy to pair and connect. Holds a LONG charge. Plays remarkably loud and doesn’t crap out at high volumes. And you can plug a non-bluetooth product into it, such as an FM radio or even a TV. Is it the best small bluetooth speaker out there? No. But it is the best one out there for $30. OontZ does it again. Highly recommended.

FANTASTIC SOUND in a Smaller Container!! HEE HEE! Great Bass, clear voice and great overall sound!!! I have the older version of the OontZ Angle, I have the newer OontZ Angle 3 Plus, which is Phenomenal and drops Bose like a wet noodle, and now I have this smaller sized OontZ angle that I can take with me everywhere or use in my truck for bluetooth purposes!! This little powerhouse ROCKS my Truck! I couldn’t find anything (that would work right) to help me connect bluetooth to my older truck, so I decided to stuff this little speaker into the holder in the dash – VOILA! All my mp3’s and youtube, and even talking over the phone hands-free in my older truck with this Wonderful Speaker! YAY ME! LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT! Can’t say enough good things about this little speaker!

I was surprised to see how small the unit actually was. I pictured next to my shower beer for reference! That said…I can’t believe the volume that it produces. It’s almost comical! Kudos to Cambridge Soundworks engineering department. Only used for 5 minutes as it’s playing just the 2nd song as I’m writing this review. I’ll follow up with additional information as I find more out about battery life, durability, etc. For now, this is more impressive than my $300 Bose. It would lose head to head but for $280 less, it’s maybe the best deal I’ve seen on Amazon.

Sound is clear with great bass quality for such a small speaker. Using outside on 20 x 20 patio at get together and it is plenty of clear sound. Will grab a few more for stocking stuffers!
