I wanted to up grade my ion party system and the Sony MHC-V71 exceded my expectations, this speaker is loud and clear more than enough power for house parties and the light show is awesome. It has so many other applications over all the sound quality the build and the light show are what I wanted and plus. We love it parties are even better now

I love my new Sony speaker since the first day it arrived. My father in law has one in his house, so I knew already what I was buying. I now make every gathering into a dance off with this speaker and its party lights. The only thing I dislike is that I haven’t been able to connect it to my tv. I bought the RCA male to male audio stereo subwoofer cable from amazon, but I can’t make it work.

Love this thing! Definitely recommend it for electronic music lovers. The Bluetooth connection is exceptional with my Iphone 5s and will never cut out unless you are LOS and 30 feet or so from the Speaker. Ground shaking bass that doesn’t overpower the mids/highs when used with the right preset or custom EQ. The remote is super convenient and the volume is sufficient.

Great party home audio system the bass is good and it’s great to listen to 70s, 80s and rock, hip hop it’s a so so because you’d need more bass and the bass isn’t great it’s good/decent you’d manage but it would need more boom. Highs and Lows sound great as well.

In addition, it is not portable, it always has to be plugged in–you have to have an electrical outlet near for it to go outside.The build quality seams very durable.I love the fact that speaker comes with a remote control and has Bluetooth.I have played all types of different music on the highest volume and it trembles the whole house! Very powerful! – I also do not have a gigantic house so everyone might feel different about the sound quality-It is perfect for me!We absolutely love the lights; it is like a HUGE party!You can connect up to (2) microphones- which my kids (and adults) love because they like to Play/Sing karaoke.A HUGE plus is also that this speaker is splash proof, dustproof-Although I have not personally tried to drop any water on it-It is a great feature to have just in case- as I have had previous speakers ruined at party’s due to people dropping drinks on them. FYI- This is only effective when the USB/MIC cover is closed. In addition, this is not guaranteed in ALL situations.For the life of me– I cannot figure out how to turn “DEMO” Mode off, I have read the instructions and googled it and I still cannot figure it out.The instructions say:Press the power button to turn the unit OFF. Press the DISPLAY button repeatedly until the Demo Mode display disappears. It did not work for me, but it does not bother me. I guess once I play around with it a little more maybe I can figure it out.The demo mode seems to turn on when we power the speaker off.ALL in all I love this speaker and it is perfect! I would definitely recommend.

This speaker is LOUD!!!!I bought this speaker since I have 3 small kids and figured the light show and karaoke functions would be fun. It has brought my family countless hours of fun and has helped entertain countless guests when we have people over for pool parties and BBQ’s. The construction is sturdy and durable. If I had to point out 1 negative issue is that the power cord is extremely short. Other than that this speaker is loud and the sound quality is fantastic. I have 2 friends that went out and bought the same speaker after seeing and listening to it.

The price was scary but let me tell you how amazing this speaker is. Automatically everybody’s favorite. Bought a mic for it to do the karaoke mode and it’s pretty legit. Already want to buy another one to hook up together. Took it outside and had it on 37 (out of 50) and my neighbor told me he couldn’t hear his TV! Love this speaker so much and I’ll admit it’s much smarter than I am. There’s a lot of buttons and options so just make sure to familiarize yourself with it before showing it off! I should also mention we have no idea how to turn it off. It goes to stand by, lights go off, and everything comes back to life. We just unplug it problem solved! The warranty also only covers power surges so it’s basically useless. Get yourself a hardcore power surge extension cord with a warranty (LG at walmart). Everything about this speaker is life. I do not regret my decision to buy it even though we’ll never be able to play it to full volume. Can’t wait for parties and bbqs!
