Oral-B Pro-Health Clinical Battery Powered Toothbrush, 1 Count, Colors May Vary Purchased to replace my other electric toothbrush with one that had a smaller brush head. Have used for a week and am very happy with it. It requires to AA batteries and the brush is plainly marked inside the battery slots for orientation ( + or – ). The cover for the batteries has rubber rings to seal it and locks shut so it does not come loose. The only problem is the brush heads only slide on and do not have a positive lock like my other tooth brush. So the brush head may come loose using and up and down motion if you press down hard when brushing. But so far I am very happy with this tooth brush and would recommend it to anyone looking for a battery operated unit instead of a rechargable unit.

Fantastic toothbrush, I have an ORAL-B BLACK SERIES which I bought it for $129 I confidently can tell you this device performance really close to my expensive one, Of course not exactly because the expensive one has a tone of options but if you want a budget toothbrush and don’t want to break the bank take thisIn addition nice packaging, worth every penny.RECOMMENDED!!!

Omg, I can not be any happier with this special little toothbrush! A couple years ago I tried an electric toothbrush and I hated it (I think it was phillips). It was so messy, and violent, noisy and it was no fun holding in my hand. From there on I swore to never try another electric or battery operated toothbrush again. However, I was getting a lot of neck pain everyday brushing my teeth manually, because I brush for 5 minutes and am a perfectionist in doing so. So skip to a few years later tired of the neck pain, I bought this and what a delight!Update: 75 days later and I’m now changing the batteries! This toothbrush is definitely a godsend! Feels like I got a professionally dentist cleaning every time I use this.It fits in my small hand perfectly. It’s not huge, bulky or even heavy. It’s not very messy, I’d say maybe a 2 out of 10, and I don’t need to shut my mouth to brush. The brush is totally in your control, so no violence this time. And the noise level is of no disturbance to me. It does make noise, but not very loud at all and is totally tolerable (again, nothing as loud as the old electric toothbrush I used in the past). This toothbrush does not lack one single thing for me. It’s perfectly powerful, not too much not too soft which I’m shocked about. Just so excited it works so well! I also think this toothbrush is very precise because it’s small and just a round head. The other ones I was considering have the round brush and other bristles, but that would make it hard to direct it perfectly to get every crevice.Love this toothbrush, I recommend 100%! Oh and no more neck pain after brushing!

I have had this battery operated toothbrush for more than a year. I purchased it as a replacement for an Oral-B electric toothbrush that died after about 10 years of use. I love the round shaped brush and did not want to go to a different brand with a different shaped brush. So, after reading the reviews, I purchased this one. I love it. It does everything I need it to do, travels well, AND is very easy on batteries. I had visions of having to replace batteries every couple of weeks, but they last for months.I did have an issue one morning when I pushed the button and the unit did not turn on. So I replaced the batteries. Still did not turn on. I thought I would have to trash it, but before I threw it away I took off the brush unit and noticed a bit of grit (I mix baking soda with my toothpaste) around the metal thingy that makes the toothbrush move. I cleaned that off and rinsed out the inside of the brush, stuck it back on, and pushed the button again. It started up like a champ. I changed the batteries back to the old ones and the brush still worked. So now I make sure I rinse the inside of the brush and wipe the metal thingy. I have had no problems since then.

I like this toothbrush and have made multiple purchases of it for family members.Having said that, I don’t use it all the time. The important thing to remember is that this brush just needs to be placed against the tooth surface without pressure.Pressure on this brush would push against gums due to the rotating action of the head.It is powerful and doesn’t need the help of pressure. If purchasing this for children (which I also did) you may wish to stress that pressure does not need to be applied and to allow the toothbrush to do the job for you. This is a great item for children who may resist tooth brushing. It is also a quick way the clean teeth if Mum or Dad takes up the task.

Great toothbrush! Just be aware there are no ‘written’ instructions for adding the batteries, and that they (two AA batteries, which are included) are inserted alternately, according to the (almost) invisible embossed ‘guide’ imprinted on the outer portion of the housing that rests inside the bottom cap. I didn’t see, or notice, those little icons at first, and workable installation ended up being hit-and-miss. A simple diagram on the packaging would have been very helpful.

Works as advertised. I received my package next day Prime delivery in excellent condition and packaging. My last Oral B battery operated toothbrush that lasted 10 years just died on me; and I needed to replace it right away. I found this one on Amazon and brought it. It came with two AA batteries. I replaced the brush with my Oral B Floss Action brush head with toothbrush cover as shown in my photos. Many years ago, my oral surgeon recommend that I use Oral B with the small round brush to reduce tooth and gum sensitivity. I’ve been using it since then with no complaints. I’m very happy with their products and will continue ordering on Amazon when Walmart is out of stock. The timer works as advertised, the toothbrush is ergonomic and easy to hold and navigate while brushing. I have carpal tunnel and it’s easier for me to hold this brush compared to my last one. My dentist and dental hygienist both said that my teeth are well cleaned and strong. This is a combination of using my Oral B with the Floss Action brush, Sensodyne Pro Enamel toothpaste, and daily flossing. I highly recommend this product if you are looking for a toothbrush that’s battery operated, durable, strong with high-powered brush action performance, and cleans well. It’s also great for travelling. I have one in my cosmetic travel bag for when my family and I go on cruises or road trips. Hopefully, I will have this toothbrush for another 10 years.

I almost sent this toothbrush back for not working and then I noticed that even though every other battery operated device I have ever used has the flat end of he batteries against the springs, this tooth brush is not that way. With the cap off on the lowest part of the base are + and – symbols that are not obvious until you really look for them. A printed diagram would have helped. Once I figured out the batteries and got it working it works so much more powerfully and gets around back molars better than my other 1 battery oral-b.

The “Sparkle Fun” red/blue version (‘for kids’) is exactly the same as the white/blue model (for adults). The only difference is that the ‘kids’ model comes with a softer brush head. I use a rechargeable one at home (with the plug-in base) and I had bought a battery-operated (uses 2 AAs) one before to use for travelling (so much easier than trying to charge in a hotel), and decided to get a back-up. Doesn’t matter the color for travelling, and the red/blue will stand out more. So, unless you really don’t want the red/blue, get it, because it’s the same as the white/blue, and costs less!

Love this toothbrush. It stands upright on the counter or lays flat in the drawer. No extra charger needed to clutter up the counter. Generic (inexpensive) replacement heads fit well and because they are inexpensive can be changed frequently. Tonight I tried to replace the batteries and could not get the battery cover back on…I tried pushing, banging it on concrete…nothing worked and I was ready to purchase a new one until I read the review about putting a lubricant on both the rubber seal as well as on the inside of the top of the battery cover. I used Aquafor, a thick healing ointment that looks similar to vaseline but is water soluable. I was generous with this thick ointment/lubricant and the battery cap just glided on! Done! wonderful.
