    My teeth feel sooooo clean!

  2. Amazon Customer

After speaking to my dental hygienist and a friend who had an electric toothbrush, I finally decided to get one. The difference is like night and day. I can never go back to a regular toothbrush after using an electric toothbrush; there’s no comparison in how much of a better job this thing does on my teeth. The hardest part of using it was getting used to letting it do the brushing; I keep wanting to use it like a regular toothbrush and move it up and down for brushing strokes. I finally stopping manually making brushing strokes and just let it do it’s thing. My hygienist could see the improvement during my first cleaning after using this toothbrush. I gave one to a friend as a birthday gift and she loves it. And she said that she her hygienist also noticed an improvement during her cleaning after using this toothbrush.

Overall, great product that really cleans your teeth. Better results then using a standard brush. Note, the offer of a free brush head is a marketing trap. Don’t waste your time. You will simply get the code “FREEBRUSHHEAD” then you have to use it and agree to a subscription that involves getting something like three brush heads every couple of months for a minimum of $13 per shipment. So, don’t bother with it and just enjoy the sonic toothbrush.

After 10 years, I finally upgraded my toothbrush. Out of curiosity, I bought one Sonic & one of the other top brands, Oral-B. I prefer the Sonic for the following reasons:1) It automatically shuts off after 2 minutes, giving you 30 second alerts during those 2 minutes to guide you thru the brushing process;2) I am one of those rare adults that still have all 4 of my wisdom teeth. The sonic brush is slightly tapered at the end making it much easier than the O-brand to reach them;3) The Sonic has a gentler vibration motion. This works best for me. The O-brand has a feature which stops the brush if you are putting too much pressure on it. That is a nice feature if you tend to brush too hard.4) While the Sonic cost a bit more, I like the travel case that came with this.

Just received it 3 days ago. Doesn’t seem as strong as the diamond version (but could be because of the built in program where it gets stronger each time you use it for the first 2 weeks). My only issue is in trying to register it to get your promised free brush head… 1. In order to GET the brush head, you have to enroll in a program to automatically have them send you brush heads for a fee 2. NOWHERE ON THEIR SITE DO THEY LIST A “5300” MODEL NUMBER!!!! this is very strange and makes me question is this an old model that they no longer carry or ? I will update this as time goes on…

It was amazing. Makes my other electric brush seems like old technology. Its powerful yet so concentrated. Similar to the sonic cavitron I use on my patients. Yes I am a dentist, and I recommend this toothbrush for everyone.

  7. Moises

This thing works great. It’s way more powerful than I expected but after getting used to it, I love it. It cleans without the need for hard brushing or pressure. Just glide over your teeth with minimal pressure and it goes to work! The whitening and gum settings are nothing special. Same as the cleaning function with longer timers. So if you are looking to save a few bucks get the original Sonicare brush with the single setting and save about 25 bucks. It won’t come with the travel case though and I travel for work often so that’s nice to have. After trying it I bought the basic model for my wife and son too. If you want to whiten with the base model, just put the whitening tip on it and run it longer.

Gentle and thorough cleaning. I’m pleased with how clean my teeth feel after using this toothbrush. Prevents gum recession, removes all plaque. It even has a setting that goes a little longer to brush the tongue. Easy to use, battery charge lasts at least two weeks. The brush heads are small, so that you can have the best, most complete contact with each tooth’s curved surface. Bristles are soft yet clean exceptionally well without causing damage to teeth and gums. Warning signal when battery is low, and when toothbrush head needs to be replaced. Comes with three brush heads, and travel case. Only took me one day to get used to the tickling feeling. It doesn’t tickle anymore.Tip: Don’t scrub like you do with a regular brush. Just lightly touch the teeth and let the bristles dance. The Sonic vibration is what does the cleaning. Heavy handed pressure will prevent the bristles from doing their job. The sonic vibrations extend a couple of millimeters beyond the tips of the bristles. You will still need to use dental floss to clean the contact areas between the teeth.

I had been using a battery-powered lower-end Sonicare from Walmart to try it out, and I finally decided to go for the real deal. I have not been disappointed! My teeth feel cleaner, I love the timer function, and I have not experienced any of the pain or sensitivity that some have experienced. I love the options/settings that allow me to choose clean, white, or gum care, and am really happy with this purchase. I believe it is worth the cost for the level of clean you get with this product.

  10. Kelsey

I absolutely love this toothbrush! I was using an oral b electric toothbrush for years and it never cleaned my teeth as well as this one does! It feels like I just got back from the dentist. Love it! The wrong directions came in the box though. They are for a whole different sonicare toothbrush.
