Don’t let the size fool you. It’s a Bose. The sound is fantastic. I wish there were more highs or if I can adjust them. Fortunately for me my laptop has a built in equalizer to tweak them. Oooo mama, thank you B&O. Pretty decent lows (bass) too. I purchased 2 and set them up in party mode for a, well, a party. They worked great. I placed them strategically around the room, no more than 20 feet apart. And no more than 20 feet from my laptop. They worked flawlessly. I know the distance is up to 30 feet but I did not want to take the chance of the blue tooth dropping out. I was able to use them on full battery charge for 4 hours without any hiccups. Keep in mind this was a small party and not a wedding or concert. You will not get that kind of sound from them. For those who are wondering about my setup, I used 2 Bose SoundLink Revolve speakers in party mode, an HP Pavilion 14-ce2068s 14″ Laptop, Intel Core i5, 8GB Memory, Win 10 Home. I used the Groove music program which has a built in equalizer (see pics). The HP B&O equalizer will not work with blue tooth. It only works with the built in speakers or physically connected headphones.

Holy buckets!!! This speaker is AMAZING!! Bought it for listening to Pandora at the lake and don’t regret spending the money at all. Until you hear it, you’d never believe such remarkable sound could come out of a little speaker. Crisp, sharp tones, hold a charge good enough to listen all day long. Well worth the price.

I bought the Bose SoundLink Revolve Bluetooth Speaker because I thought I ‘needed’ an acoustical and esthetic improvement over the forty-dollar black brick I used for streaming audio from my Android phone at different places in my home or when visiting friends. My primary stereo system is stationary. – I considered a few options and picked the Bose Resolve based on name recognition and looks – in silver grey, or “lux gray” in Bose terminology..I listen primarily to classical music, chamber and orchestra. However, with the Bose Revolve I have sampled other genres such as blue grass, rock, Latin, Jazz (vocal & small group and big band), acoustic guitar. I am impressed with the sound quality, the clarity – at pretty much the entire audible frequency spectrum (of an older guy). The other impressive feature to me is the relatively deep bass tones. And all this from a small down-firing single full-range driver/speaker assisted by “two passive bass radiators”. I am quoting from a review I found on the Internet.I use the single Revolve on my desk or another piece of furniture nearby at a distance between 4 to 9 feet. I feel setting it on a sturdy wooden plate such as a desk or counter top enhances the volume of the sound. The perceived sound quality is still very good, and loud enough, when placed about 36 to 50 feet away, provided there is no ambient noise. Placing it about two to three feet from a corner gives me the best sound. The speaker volume setting and other functions can be controlled from a Bose app via Bluetooth from a smartphone. Some write-ups and ads imply it produces a stereo or ‘surround’ sound. This is not correct. One speaker = mono. I am tempted to get another Revolve for true two-channel stereo performance. BUT I already have a good stereo system with wired speakers…I stream audio from different sources, mostly from a Samsung Galaxy (Android) phone (I keep older phones for streaming audio and video.) either directly to the Bose or paired with the Amazon second generation Echo Dot system.Battery performance has been excellent.Difference between Revolve and Revolve plus speakers:I was interested in the larger Revolve plus, thinking it had better speaker performance. I wanted to cut off the carrying cord for esthetic reasons.Bose Technical Support stated the performance of the Revolve (that comes without the carrying cord) equals that of the Revolve plus. Quote from a Bose email: “I would not suggest for you to remove that carrying handle as it will be considered as damaged cosmetic which will automatically void the warranty for the speaker. You can consider getting the Soundlink Revolve instead since there is actually no difference in the sound power and quality. One big difference between the two is the longevity of the playing time once fully charged aside from its size. . . .”I hope this little review is helpful.

Pulling the trigger to buy a 200$ speaker is a hard decision, my first impression was the incredible sound quality.. I took this little expensive speaker on a fun camping trip! We had music so loud the park rangers actually came to our camp at one point to tell us to turn it down… well that night I left the speaker outside the tent all night, unfortunately it rained so hard and so long the entire camp ground flooded including our tent… stepping out in the puddle that next morning to see my speaker completely soaked and covered in sand was such a depressing sight to witness… I had destroyed my brand new bose speaker…. but to my surprise nothing happened, being submerged and so sandy it was completely white, all the holes filled with sand and water was heart breaking… after drying it off and even rinsing it in fresh water was hard… but it dried off and sounded INCREDIBLE.. like nothing happened!! Now I take it to the beach all the time, it gets sandy it gets wet… doesn’t matter, this is the most indestructible speaker ever created

I purchased this speaker from Amazon just last week. But in my short experience with it, I find it to be great. Speaker technology has improved to such a degree that a little device of this size produces superb sound. It’s more than adequate for a 10x-15-foot room. I also have a UE Boom speaker, and I find the Bose to be highly similar in sound and build quality.Other than sound quality, here are a couple other features I like:- You can connect the speaker to two Bluetooth-enabled devices at the same time (to, say, an iPhone and an iPad). Note this does not mean you can stream content to the speaker from two devices at the same time. It just means you do not need to disconnect one device when you want to use the other device.- From the accompanying Bose app, you can set up an auto-off timerA couple quibbles that Bos (the company) e might want to consider:- The speaker lacks a mounting ring. It should have one when you use it outdoors, so you can hang it from a hook or tree branch.- The Bose app needs some work. When I am streaming music from my iPhone to the speaker, the app sometimes shows that the speaker is not connected (even though it clearly is connected).

I originally purchased the Bose SoundLink Revolve speaker because I listen to hours and hours of music every day. I ordered it without testing it in a store because I was impressed with my Bose QuietComfort 35 headphones and felt like I’d feel no different toward this. The speaker met my expectations for the most part. The first time I listened to music with the speaker, I thought the bass would be heavier. However, I’m quite pleased with the rich quality of sound the speaker puts out. I typically have the volume on my phone up all the way and the speaker about 25% or less of its maximum. I have turned the speaker up to its maximum volume only once and that was to test how loud it can get. I can confidently say I will never have to use the maximum volume in my 760 square foot apartment – if that says anything about how loud it can get (or how small my apartment is).The battery lasts a bit longer than the specs indicate. I easily use it over 16 hours over the weekend without charging it. Additionally, the speaker charges quite quickly.Despite having a 360 degree speaker, I still move the speaker around with me if I’m leaving one room to go to another because I usually take my phone with me wherever I go and the Bluetooth limit is approximately 30 feet. I have had some trouble with the connection when less than 30 feet away but with walls between the music source and the speaker. Additionally, a few times I’ve had my phone next to the speaker and it will still cut out for a second.I have tried to answer a few calls using the speaker but the person on the other end complains that I cut in and out or they just can’t hear me period despite being next to the speaker. But that’s obviously not why I purchased the speaker so I won’t take a star off for that.I typically use Spotify Premium with the highest quality download options which I believe makes a difference in the quality of sound you get from the speaker.Overall, I’m pleased with the speaker as a casual listener of many different genres. I hope this very non-technical review helped!

I ordered the speaker two days ago and just received it. When I took it out of the box it was smaller than I expected and I was prepared to be disappointed. It literally took less than 20 seconds to set up. I sometimes don’t order stuff because of the hassle of setting it up. This was so simple. Plug in, power button, speaker says do you want English, push button, then speaker says select Bose on your blue tooth device, done. I paired my phone with the speaker in less than 20 seconds by following the 3 step fold out. I had the speaker on a counter in the kitchen charging and played a song. Amazing sound. I have a 2 story house and it filled the entire first floor with sound. I didn’t turn it up all the way because it is night time, but it sounds really rich and full. I am so impressed with this speaker. I can’t comment on how long the battery lasts since I have only had it a few hours so far. After testing it out, I put it on the night stand in my son’s room. Alarm for school goes off at 7am. If he doesn’t get up, dance party starts at 7:01.

Fantastic sound output. Could be louder but it works for a small party outdoors. We used it at the pool and it worked well for 7 people. Anymore people, the speaker just isn’t big enough to play loudly. This is a community pool, so if the pool speakers play, then our speaker isn’t strong enough to compete. However, for 7 people it works really well. The sound is very clear and crisp for a blue tooth speaker. It works better if you have it sitting a bit higher up vs putting it on the ground or a low table. Battery life has been great so far. At 90% loudness, the speaker lasted for over 4 hours of constant playing with battery left. Probably longer but we left the pool by then. I’ve only had it for a month so I can’t speak on longevity.

This is a solid speaker that is well constructed and the sound quality is great! I purchased one of these and used it almost everyday for a little over a month. I then decided to get a second one and now use them both as a pair…the sound obviously is even better now! This is the most expensive Bluetooth speaker that I own, in the end I guess you get what you pay for…this is hands down my best Bluetooth speaker. It delivers great levels of bass and treble. I can pump up the volume pretty loud and hardly notice any distortions in the quality of the sound.Pairing is pretty straightforward, and if you have 2 of them you can easily connect the 2 together for use in either Party Mode or Stereo Mode. I primarily use Stereo Mode. Do note that you don’t require the use of the Bose Connect App (BCP) to be able to pair 2 Bose speakers together. I used the BCP for a little while but then stopped using it. The main reason I stopped using the BCP is because it requires location to be turned on, and my phone’s battery drains a lot faster if location is turned on. It does feel a little odd to force the user to turn on location on their phone to be able to use BCP, but then again this isn’t a review of the BCP so I’m not going to ding the speakers for the BCP having that odd requirement :)I have a huge passion for music. When it comes to speakers, Bose is usually one of the first few names that comes to mind. Having said that, this is actually the first Bose product that I’ve ever purchased! And I loved it so much that I ended up getting a second one!A nice bonus is that these speakers come with a tripod connector as well, so you can use mini-tripods or regular sized tripods to easily elevate (yes, pun intended!) yourself to a higher level of musical enjoyment!

Awesome sound. Used for the music at our outdoor wedding ceremony. All 120 people could hear the music just fine.
