This is very nice entry-level / value phone. It’s very thin and light. It has dual SIM + sdcard.It’s really good for every day tasks (Chrome and Firefox for browsing the web, Gmail, SMS, or some light non-demanding games).I like the large screen with the little camera notch. Screen is bright and easy to read.It has VoLTE support on T-Mobile, as well as Wifi Calling.It supports all the frequencies from T-Mobile and works really well with that network.It also works well with Android Auto for GPS navigation.Only cons: the camera is “just good”. It’s not bad, it does 1080p videos (or at least they look like). It just has a regular quality, and works well in daylight. It’s not surprisingly stellar though so don’t even try to compare it with these fancy phones with multi-camera arrays that cost 5x or 6x the price.Two tips based on other comments I read here:- It can absolutely be made to display in ENGLISH ==> when the phone boots the first time, the Android system display a screen in Spanish which actually asks which language the user wants. Tap on the list to display the language choices and scroll UP. “English (US)” is a choice just above Español. Select it and the whole phone switches to English. Again, this is on the very very first screen the first time you boot the phone or after a factory reset.- If you have already configured the phone in Spanish, you can still easily change the language. Android supports 40 languages or more. Just drop down from the notification area, use the gear icon to get to the Android settings, and use Systema > Idioma > Agregar un idoma > English and make it the first choice.

We bought this for our son and wasnt sure after reading the reviews how it was gonna be but it’s been perfect ! No problems with selecting English for the language and the graphics are amazing. Works perfectly

I’m pleasantly surprised with this phone. After a horrific experience with another cheap unlocked phone (BLU 5.0) I was hesitant to try again. I needed a dual SIM, unlocked GSM phone for international travel, as I frequently buy a local SIM for calls inside a foreign country.What I received was a brand new, unlocked GSM phone, a fully functional Android with great speed and a 32GB storage, a rarity in cheap smartphones. It was produced for a Latin America market but I had no problem switching from Spanish to English right after I powered the phone the first time.The only minor trouble was the fact that it takes Nano SIMs, and all mine were Micro from the past. I wish that would have been clearly specified in the description, but overall it is a great little smartphone, especially considering the price of about $120. For just $40 more than the BLU 5.0 I received a real phone that I intend to keep, not a slow piece of garbage with just 8GB storage.

After a couple of hours comparing phones on GSM ARENA after my A30 screen cracked I went with the A01 as a replacement , works GREAT. I work in construction so im needing to replace a phone every year. for 120 bucks this is a great buy. great phone for kids also.

I honestly recommend this phone, is easy to use and is a great value for your money. A lot better than some other Samsung phones and price wise incomparable. Works perfectly fine, very fast.

I use this phone to maintain and international number. There is no fingerprint reader or facial recognition. It is much better than the last phone I had. The photos are not the best.

It’s a fantastic phone. For those complaining about it being in another language, take your time and select English in the language menu when you start up the phone for the first time. Mine was in Spanish. But English reads as “English”. These are a global product after all. Speaker, camera, and screen rez are phenomenal for a sub 100buck phone. T-mobile charged 10 bucks for a sim card. And there were no issues accepting the network. Call clarity is great too. Wifi is responding fast AF. Excellent value. Keep in mind T-mo is selling the same phone for around 189 American pesos. Also as an added bonus you don’t get all the T-Mobile magenta horsechit bloatware on the device. It’s so good I think I’ll buy another.

I ordered the Samsung Galaxy A01 with unknown expectations and I ended up being pleasantly surprised. This phone might not have all the bells and whistles of a model 5 or 10 times its price’ but for around a hundred bucks, it is a great bargain.The phone itself is light. Its battery is built in and not replaceable. The rear (main) camera is decent and I think it’s 13 megapixels; the front (selfie) camera is 5 megapixels (I think). The phone does not have video editing software built in, but there are downloadable apps from the Samsung and Google Play Store.Now for some important and relevant information: this phone worked right out of the box with my GSM carrier (T-Mobile). The phone supports VOLTE and the sound/connection quality is good. Keep in mind that if you do but this new, you will use a little needle like SIM tray opener to open and access your SIM card area. It runs Android 10 and the newest security patch is from June 2020. Also important to mention: this phone will offer language selection during setup. English, Spanish, French, and many other languages are available.Overall, this phone is worth the investment and has more than enough features for everyday users.
