I can sum up this laptop very nicely in one sentence: “You can not go wrong buying a Dell laptop.” This is the sixth Dell laptop I have owned. I usually have two laptops at any given time since I spend 10+ hours per day on a computer plus I travel and spend quite a bit of time away from home. I have a larger laptop that I use as my portable desktop (larger screen, larger hard drive, etc…) but I also need something that is lightweight and easy to just put in my backpack and go.I am very pleased with this 15″ Dell Inspiron. This laptop has a 512GB solid state disk drive and 8GB of RAM. The 15.6″ screen supports up to 1920 x 1080 screen resolution; the built-in video card is an NVIDIA GeForce MX450 which provides great screen responsiveness.There are two USB 3.2 type A ports, an HDMI 1.4 port, a Thunderbolt 4.0 display port, and headphone jack which is more than enough ports for my needs in a lightweight, highly portable laptop. I frequently plug a laptop in to an external monitor using an HDMI cable. This cable connects nicely to my external 27″ monitor via HDMI. (To ‘enable’ the external monitor port, you may need to press the Fn and F8 keys to switch through the external monitor options.) The built-in .92mega pixel camera and built-in microphone work great with Microsoft Teams and Zoom.There laptop has built-in Bluetooth; I use this to connect a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse as well as a Bluetooth microphone / headphone. All Bluetooth devices easily integrated with the included Windows Home software and the software that I use.Setup was very simple and quick. I just powered the laptop on and followed the prompts. It took less than an hour to unbox, follow the prompts, and update the computer before it was fully usable. (Always make sure that you keep the computer fully updated with patches and updates.) I have considered installing Windows 11 on this laptop; it appears it will fully support Windows 11 once it is released.I have a backpack with a laptop slot that I carry this in. It slips in to the backpack nicely along with the included power supply. The laptop weights about 3 1/2 pounds so it is easy to carry and not hard on my back.This is a great, reliable laptop for anyone that needs a laptop with a good sized screen but is lightweight and easy to carry around. As someone that has owned multiple Dell desktop and laptop computers, this quality and attractive design of this laptop simply confirms my view that Dell makes the best laptops in the industry.

This laptop is slim and stylish . Weight is about 4 lbs only. I wont’ feel much weight when put in my backpack when travel .Sounds Speaker is just above average . Faster response when restart , turn on and off the laptop. Also I didn’t feel heat when using more than 4 hours unlike some other laptop that I owned before .The screen size is big enough for me to use for work related email and browsing . The speed performance is incredibly fast , however the battery seems drain little fast than I expected. I have to put in charge mode about 5 -6 hours used. Overall, This laptop is definitely the best one to use for work when travel.

The Dell Inspiron 15 5510 laptop computer comes with a 15.6 inch full definition screen monitor for great vibrant color.We had this new computer running in a manner of minutes, out of the box. Voice activated set up is very easy. You just have to follow the prompts & set up a 4 digit password to get in. You have the option of setting up fingerprint reader as well. Dell Technologies does ask you to set up an account & register the laptop, which I did. I received an email from Dell with links to anything I might need help with down the road.Windows 10 operating system is installed on this computer & it is fast and smooth.You have 7 jacks for input of various headphones, USB & AC access ports.The computer is a graphite / silver tone. Very sleek, smallish, and modern looking. 9 x 14 x .71 inches, to be exact.This laptop flies through the internet, going from social media site to site with liquid speed. The sound is clear & audible.Perfect for a college student or graduate. I’m on the hunt for the perfect case to carry it in, as the compact size begs to journey with me.The touch control mouse is sensitive & easy to maneuver.The computer is loaded with Intel Core i7-11370H processor, 8 GB DDR4 RAM Memory, 512 GB Solid State Hard Drive, and NVIDIA GeForce MX450 with 2GB GDDR5 Graphics Card.The laptop has the quality I expected from Dell right out of the box, and I expect this computer to last me years.Recommended.

This is a great affordable laptop which is perfect for students. My only complaint is that the speaker did not work when I took it out of the box and it was not at all straight forward to get it working. New drivers didn’t help. Troubleshooters didn’t do anything. Basically had to reinstall Windows. Works great now.

This is such an impressive computer! It comes with step by step setup that’s on the monitor, so it’s really easy to get up and running. It’s fast, and lightweight, and I like this larger monitor for the work I do. There are some new features I didn’t have on my old Dell Inspiron, like Alexa. I can ask her to order things and ask other questions too, like how old is Lily Thomlin. I just say Alexa while I’m on my computer, and ask my question or give her instructions such as placing an order.Another thing I LOVE is the full ten-key number pad on the right!! This is such a life-saver when entering numbers, working in excel, and other number projects.I also discovered where my emojis are! 😉 (windows and period opens them.)I’ve been a Dell user for so many years, and this replacement is definitely an upgrade!

This fine machine is just as I’ve come to expect from decades of using Dell products.Pros — Simple setup, plug it in, turn it on, go thru guided setup and you’re off and running- Nicely designed – the machine’s width and depth are the size of the screening, meaning no wasted size in those dimensions, and it’s thin.- Robust – it feels well built and robust – weighs in a little heavier than the sub-3 pounders at 3.6 but doesn’t feel heavy- Fingerprint login is a nice addition.- It’s fast and responsive- No issues in setup – connected easily to my various accounts and I was configured quickly- External HDMI resolution is excellent, it drives my Dell 49″ monitor at 5120×1440 with good qualityCons — noneNotes — I’m not using it for highly intensive compute like video processing or gaming so no opinion on that- I’m not sure if 8gb ram will be sufficient, I’d probably opt for 16 if purchasing, but this is upgradeable with another 8 or 16 from Dell if needed so I’ll see.Overall – a great choice. No special bells and whistles but just an all around solid machine that performs as advertised, and I’m confident in the Dell brand.

It took me a few hours over a couple of days to get it set up. Once I did it works great. I was having problems with my old computer connecting to my Wi Fi. This laptop connects quickly and easily. The only, small, thing to possibly criticize is that the letters and numbers on the keys are a bit small. Since the keyboard lights up underneath them it’s not a big deal, but since my eyes aren’t as young as they once were, I need extra light to type with any speed. Overall, I love it and it will be my new main computer. There are ratings for touch screen and fingerprint reader which I am not rating. I didn’t know that it had a touch screen and I didnt see it in the set up process, so I can’t rate it. As for the fingerprint reader, I don’t have very distinct fingerprints that read very well on these readers, so I can’t use it.

I really enjoy this computer. I don’t do much but social media and write with a computer but I have been finding this computer to be very responsive, quick, and easy to set up. I like the security measures on it, and the clarity of the screen. I imagine this has the capabilities that will satisfy the average computer user for years to come.
