Have only had one day but, after reading reviews, for the price, this thing is a powerhouse. Doesn’t come loaded with tons of junk, battery life is not bad, and when compared to my $120 tablet from one year ago, it’s a HUGE upgrade! Very important note here, I am not using a SIM card so I cannot tell you about that experience, what I can tell you, is that you MAY need upgrade the system software via Hotspot or be able to do a QR code into your own wireless router (yes it has that ability/option), as it needs to update its software to access some modems, I currently have a Netgear Modem. But once it was able to upgrade its software, entering my modem password now worked. It came with a plug and a cord and instructions which I have not even bothered looking at… chinglish I’m sure. I purchased it to play angry birds 2 which surprisingly takes up a lot ram and memory, it handlles it no problem and I had YouTube, my email and Firefox open at the same time in the backgrounds, just to see and test, no problems. Again for under $200 I don’t think you could find much better, at this point would definitely recommend, will update if anything changes.

I bought this on two criteria besides price: screen size (10 in) and screen resolution(1920×1080). It passes very well for my uses – reading tutorials, manga, web browsing, streaming services etc. I haven’t put the whole 6gb of ram to use yet but it’s nice to know it’s there. I’d have sunk a long time ago if I just had 2gb to work with like many other models I saw in its price-range.After using it for a few months I’m certain that it’ll never leave my house. It’s ungainly to just hold and carry around all day without a bag. A bit of a high bar but I hate carrying any kind of bag. Going out I can handle a smartphone, keys, wallet, and a kindle oasis without resorting to a bag just fine. The battery life is nothing special too so that’d just mean carrying chargers or batteries to boot if I was out. It excels in binge reading manga… and other things too I’m sure. With an easel/stand it makes about 90% of what I need to do possible, not entirely comfortable, but possible. When teamed up with two 20in desktop monitors it doesn’t look out of place like a smartphone would. Whenever I have a computing update to handle I can keep the guides open on the tablet rather than a smartphone. I’m appreciating screen real estate more and more lately and this is a fine addition.

I was able to get this for $165 and I have no regrets. It works great for emulation so far (N64, DS, Gameboy) and I’ll be testing out PSP soon. For mobile gaming I really only play Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle with the enhanced color settings on and it runs great, no lag. I also use it with Steam Link to stream games from my gaming PC over WiFi and my games play with extremely low latency (WiFi5/AC and 10-20 ft from router), to the point where I can only notice it in games that require super fast reaction times like Dragon Ball Xenoverse. I also use a Gamesir G3 wireless controller and between wifi and bluetooth, there isn’t much latency. Sometimes I wire the controller to the tablet for games like Skyrim and Witcher 3 and I do notice a little bit of latency, but not enough that it makes me stop enjoying the game.I still give it 5 stars because it was perfect for me and the price was definitely fair. At this price, the positives hugely outweigh the negatives for me. I can’t afford to spend upwards of $600+ for a new Galaxy Tablet for the ultimate gaming/productivity tablet experience, so this was an amazing deal.A few complaints I think people would have is that it does not support WiFi6/AX which would have made sense to include since it is a Gaming Tablet. It also does not support fast charge, which is unfortunate because I imagine people will want to play on it untethered for long periods of time and not want to wait a couple hours for a full charge between sessions. I’ve only ever played on it for about 3 hours at a time, so it hasn’t died on me yet since I charge it when not in use. Also, the screen looks amazing to me when looking straight on. At an angle, the screen does appear a bit dim so I’m sure that will bug others. If you want an in depth review on this as a Gaming Table, check out ETAPrime’s YouTube channel. His review is what confirmed to me that this would be the perfect tablet for me at a great price.

I initially wrote a ¢rappy review for this tablet. Sure it’s solidly built and more RAM & ROM than comparably priced tablets. The metal frame was also an attractive feature. Mine arrived in just a few days, and booted up to do the install/transfer of stuff from my Android Phone – did a good job and I was able to steer clear of a lot of annoying Google junk – Firefox runs well on it. I added a buncha apps, including an automotive diagnostic app, which is awesome with a bigger screen than the phone. All was just peachy, until I went to shut it down – 2 hours later it was still in ‘shutting down’ mode. I had to reset it with the little pin thingy thru the hole on the side next to the up/down button. Same thing with restart, it went into eternal shutdown mode in all attempts. This immediately relegated it to Junk status. I got onto the Amazon Customer Service Chat help & putt the rep thru the paces. In no time they sent me return instructions & had another staged to deliver in a couple of days – pretty impressive and capable service.I went on to do a Factory reset to wipe out all my personal stuff. Before packing the defective tablet, I decided to try the set-up again. this time it worked & I scrambled to get the replacement order cancelled. So far it’s been working flawlessly & shutting down/restarting as expected. The UNISOC Tiger T618 CPU is a little faster & newer than the Qualcom Snapdragon 450 in my LG phone/. Don’t really care about “gaming” but this tablet runs all that I want to do just fine! You can pay more for less, but this is the best bargain I’ve found — especially with the $30 savings.

I caught this computer for home use and it is very fast, great HD screen, I read where one fella had a problem with the mic I have not seen this it picks my voice up fine, it downloaded from my Google account and even got my pic. And my apps from my other tablet wow! Even my passwords from my tabs. This tablet makes my other tablet autistic I am very pleased with it it now has over 300 gigs of memory all and all its very fast and easy to use the cameras are as good as any and for me I would recommend it to anyone and I am 70 years old and if I can figger it out it can be to hard. If you order one make sure you order a 256gig thumb drive and a C plug lo charging cable that’s longer , and also a case too as this is a very slippery outside case, this tablet makes my five stars! And you gotta love 6gigs of ram

This tablet is pretty beast and you can’t beat the price for what’s under the hoodIt’s pretty good for emulation and handles most of the demanding games on the play storeWeb browsing is quick and effortless and the video playback is goodFor the negatives……the screen isn’t the best and brightest……glare can get bad as wellIt’s pretty heavy too and the build quality is not reassuring…..you will see what I mean when you hold itAlso the screen protection is poor quality…..air bubbles and is starting to come up at the edges of the bezzles

Bought this tablet to have a bigger screen for watching movies and playing some games. This things is amazing for both, it runs most games on high smoothly, movies are very nice looking. Now I know you’re thinking what is the downside, well there is two I can think of. One is the charging port doesn’t support usb pd so usb pd chargers will not work at all with it. The tablet tries to charge any usb pd plugged into it instead of charging, so you’re stuck using 5v 2.4a as a maximum charge rate which will take about 3-4 hours to charge fully if powered off. The second issue is the battery/power saving options on the tablet. The battery isn’t great and tbh that is most likely due to the screen that draws 700 mah on lowest brightness with nothing going on, on average playing a game or watching a movie draws about 1200mah. What this means is the battery lasts about 4-5 hours and takes a long time to charge when in use almost 6-9 hours. Overall for the price it’s the thing that had to be sacrificed and tbh I’m fine with it, just bring a battery pack for extended trips fixes the biggest weakness. So if you’re thinking man this tablet sounds too good to be true it’s not, this thing is amazing and worth every penny. Also a tip for the screen glare if it’s too much for you, the matte screen protector for the onn 10.1 fits almost perfect with a slight trim. I put it on over the factory installed screen protector with no issues and fixed my glare problem.

I was a bit nervous buying this tablet but I’m VERY happy with it so far. Before buying this I had a Kindle Fire HD10 and a Vankyo Matrixpad. This tablet is much faster than either of them. The battery is long lasting. I haven’t had to charge it during the day at all. The memory is awesome for the price. I won’t have any need to install an sd card. The display is crisp and just bright enough for me at full power. My Kindle Fire has a brighter screen. I do not use my tablet to make phone calls so I cannot comment on using a sim card. Thhe choice of cases that fit this tablet is somewhat limited. Bottom line, this is now my main tablet with my other 2 as backups now. I removed the film screen protector that came with the tablet and replaced it with a glass screen protector.

This tablet is great value for the cost. It’s very fast, has large storage capacity & video is great too! I might buy another just to leave in another room.
