I needed a new laptop and went with Razer for the feature rich choices. I’m a casual gamer but like performance. Unbelievable! No lag time or glitches. Recommend this one very highly!

I previously owned the 2019 Mercury White model and decided to upgrade to the new 8-core 11th gen Intel model. My previous model worked flawlessly and was easily the most solid laptop I had in my life (no BSODs ever, no battery bloat, no coil whine or high pitched fan noise) which is why I decided to stick with Razer. So far this new 3080 model has not disappointed. It survived a 24 hour stress test on Unigine Heaven using default settings (no crashing out of the program). I have not experienced any screen flickering and there is no coil whine or whistling either. The keyboard is an enormous upgrade from the previous 2019 model. It is a lot more stiff and tactile despite looking exactly the same. That was the biggest gripe I had about my 2019 model. The old keyboard was very mushy and not enjoyable to type on.From the reviews I’ve seen on Reddit and Amazon, I am aware that Razer laptops suffer from a common battery bloat problem. However, my experience with this brand has been absolutely perfect so far so if you do hit the jackpot, you will absolutely love this laptop.

Great laptop. Even tho its a 3070 you still gotta mess w nvidias 3D settings and with the games internal vsync settings to really optimize each game. 360 hz is awsome but don’t play demanding games at high settings with 360 hz cause the screen completely glitches out. Took me a week of internal pain to figure that out. They run smooth at 60hz w vsync (depending on game) though. For games that don’t have a refresh rate option in their settings (weird but games such as Sniper Elite 4 don’t have it) go to the razer synapses and change it in the performance tab to 60. Then when ur done playing go back and change it to 360 if you want. Kinda a hassle but that’s what you get with a machine like this. You just can’t win lol. Overall awsome powerhouse that’s so slim and fits right in your backpack without taking much space. But omg the power supply is so thiccc. Battery life is awsome, given that it’s an insanely powerful gaming laptop. Lasts almost 3 hours when using google nonstop. Look if you want battery life get a Mac. But for gaming this thing rocks. Just have some patience and once you set up everything you’ll begin planning your wedding to this thing. Peace.

Purchased directly from razer.com, as a preorder before they were released in June. I’m upgrading from a high end Alienware 15 from 2020. Couldn’t be moreImpressed.Build quality is outstanding. Screen hinges, keyboard, trackpad, overall frame is very premium and seems that it will age very well.Obviously the hardware speaks for itself. The thing is a total beastHaven’t come across anything that slows it down. Even with 4K and maxed out graphics settings. In comparison to my Alienware it actually runs cooler and has yet to thermal throttle. Do note – I did purchase small steel “feet” that I stuck onto either side of the bottom fans. This allows the laptop to be lifted about 3/4 of an inch from the surface of my laptop pad or desk.

What I use this machine for:CADD & Gaming.Pros:This machine has a stunning display (4K 60HZ Model)It can handle anything you throw at it with ease (11th gen I9 / 3080).The Razer Synapse interface is user friendly.Extremely thin for the power it brings.Room to upgrade the SSD & RAM.Cons:Battery life is bad (45 min – 2 hours depending on what you’re doing). But this is expected with the size and power this machine has.Fans can get a little loud, but nothing serious. It gets hot, but not to the point where you can’t touch it like some people like to exaggerate. (I ran multiple games for 6+ hours straight on full/ultra settings for my heat test). Conclusion:This thing is expensive, but in my opinion it brings a lot to the table and is worth the money. I’d give it a 4.5 out of 5, but that is not an option so I decided to round it up.
