Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Update: Laptop is now making strange noises, could be the fan or resisters, Will have to return.Windows did not come activated, tech support responded within a day with fix.Laptop is great for work purposes considering the low entry price.

This laptop serves as the perfect stop gap for productivity. It’s light, good battery(roughly 4-6 hrs based on activity) , and runs all basic productivity programs very snappy. Office suite runs like a dream, even heavy PowerPoint load quickly. Never buffering on videos or lag time . Even with tons of tabs open on chrome. Elementary OS Linux runs like a dream on this machine.After a week of use I upgraded the hard drive and that made an even bigger difference. I plan on buying another one for my wife.

This laptop is such a great deal for the money!First of all, it’s made of really study metal. It makes my Dell Latitude feel really cheap.It’s fast enough. An i3 with 8gb of ram is never going to be a powerhouse, but if you keep Windows up to date and virus free, it’s absolutely fine.The screen is beautiful. I’m really surprised how good it looks. It’s bright and vivid, and the resolution is much higher than most cheap laptops.I love the fact that you can install a second drive. I bought a second 256gb drive on Amazon for under $100 and installed Ubuntu Linux on it. Ubuntu, by the way, flies on this laptop and installed perfectly. You don’t have to install a boot loader like grub on the windows drive if you just switch the boot device in the bios. Cool!For the real geek – the bios is totally unlocked! You can change thermal throttle settings, fan speeds, ACPI, even memory and chip speeds. I’ve never seen this on a mainstream laptop. I set the thermal limit for the fan to kick in about 10 degrees higher and voila – I almost never have the fan running and it’s steel cool enough not to throttle.Agree with the other negatives people have posted – the charging brick is huge. I tried the usb-c charging but it didn’t work for me. I doubt there is good warranty support, but Chuwi did answer a question over messenger quickly.Is an XPS 13 or Zenbook 13 better? Oh yes. Better and faster. But for 1/3 the price, I love this Chuwi.

Excelente construcción y calidad de materiales, su punto fuerte es la pantalla, aunque no me agrada mucho las fugas de luz que tiene al colocar un fondo totalmente negro, un equipo muy elegante y acorde al precio, el rendimiento es acorde a su gama y parece suficientemente fluido para uso ofimatico y un poco más, Recomendado.
