There are literally 100’s of different laptop trays being sold on Amazon, and prices range anywhere from $15 for the real basic surface to $120 for the fancier looking ones. In looking through many of them, I’ve come to realize that it’s all about the little details. I made a list of things that suited my needs; surface size, height adjustable, collapsible, portability, are the obvious ones, but there are many less-obvious ones too.For example, is there something to keep your mouse from sliding down the surface if the table is tilted? Or is there something to support your laptop to prevent it from sliding off? How slippery is the surface? Or is it slightly tacky to keep things in place. How much does the thing weigh? How easy is it to maneuver the unit when you’re in bed? On the couch? On the floor? What I concluded was that it was these small details that made the difference and defined what really mattered. This Saiji model has a techno-leather (pleather) surface which provides minimal tack and easy clean up for spills and stains. It has a removable bar to keep your laptop in place, an invisible lip to prevent your mouse from sliding completely off, and it has a hidden sliding drawer to keep some stationary or store your glasses. But what sealed the deal for me were the sleigh legs, allowing the ability to slide the table away from you and providing easy access in and out. Quality and Materials is the last thing you should consider. Alloys like aluminum are both lightweight and strong; in contrast, plastic is weak, and sadly I must report that the joints (leg and tilt) are plastic… the only downfall I found. This portable table is priced higher than most of it’s competitors, but it contained all the features I was looking for. There’s currently an additional 40% savings on top of the sale price (at time of this post) driving the price to about 60% off the RRP, so it’s a really good deal in my opinion, so much so that I’m going to purchase a second one!

This is exactly what I was looking for! Bought this for drawing, mainly. Wanted something that could adjust height-wise and to an angle for easier drawing, this table does both. Adjusts smoothly and easily. Very sturdy feeling, solid, well-built. The sled feet are awesome, they slide well when you want them to, stay put when you don’t. Love the rubber stopper lip, it’s handy and yet low profile enough to not annoy your wrists. Love the additional “book stopper” attachment, using the pen/pencil trough. Love that it has a little drawer… I’m a fan of storage space! Will also be using this as a laptop table too, I love that it has enough room for a mouse! Love the size of this table, I love that it is wide but not overly deep, it really is perfect!

I initially purchased this to use this on top of my laptop table to make it as standing desk. I loved it very much and found different ways of using it. I love using it as a sofa table and now spending most of time sitting in chaise placing my laptop on this table stretching my legs beneath it. It has sufficient space to accommodate a 15 inch laptop and coffee mug 🙂 additionally we can tilt the table as well. I also like the small drawer along with the table to store the laptop support so that it never gets displaced. you can use it to store some chocolates as well 😉 Btw I am writing this review from the table 😀

I researched desks for far too long before I finally settled on one. I wanted one so I could wander around my house to work during covid. This desk is everything I wanted. It’s highly adjustable, so you can get it positioned *exactly* how you want it. I’m also notorious for sitting in super weird positions when I’m in bed or on the couch, but this thing accommodates it all. I can easily sit with my legs crossed, or with them propped up under/behind the desk, it’s fantastic. I also am plus sized, so I was worried there wouldn’t be enough room, but it’s perfect. The surface of the desk is non-stick enough that it can slightly grab onto stuff from sliding, but not so grippy that it’s annoying and sticks too well. I actually rarely need to use the laptop stopper because there’s a small ledge between the white and grey that holds my phone and ipad perfectly while being unobtrusive.I also got it in the smaller size, which at first I thought would be too small, but actually fits my 15” laptop and tablet just fine.Anyway, I love this thing. Go for it, you won’t regret it.

Having two teenagers trying to do school at home was proving a challenge. Middle schooler started retreating to his bedroom with his school issued Chromebook, but didn’t really have anything to serve as a desk. This is perfect! He can hang out on his bed with this and stay out of his sister’s way while she’s in class online. Plenty of room for his Chromebook and a notebook. Super lightweight (a plus for portability, but does make it slightly less sturdy then if it weighed more) and easy to collapse down out of the way when he’s done for the day.

I love it! I actually bought 3, one for me and two for my parents for Christmas. I was honestly shocked at how good the quality is. It’s very sturdy. It’s wide, it angles toward you, the legs extend to make it taller, there’s a pen/pencil holder, a stopper for your laptop so that it doesn’t fall into your lap. I recently bought it but I’ve already used it for a variety of things; for my laptop, for writing notes, for doing my budgeting, used it as a table to eat off of, etc. I haven’t tried a heavy textbook but I’m positive it would hold it.There’s only 1 thing I dislike about the product, which may not be an issue for other people. I’m somewhat petite so while sitting on the couch I wish the legs could be shortened.Overall, this product is really amazing. It is somewhat pricey but the product is going to last a long time.

I’ve been working from home for a year and tried many different spots in my house to get comfortable. I finally decided to shop for a table like this and I’m so glad I did. I looked at plenty of tables before settling on this one and I’m convinced this was the best choice for me.Pros:Collapses small for storageHeight adjustment so I can put it in various places – sometimes on the table to work standing up for a bit, sometimes on the couch while I sit, anywhere I can think of to get some variety in my work day.Tilt adjustment so the laptop can be positioned at the most comfortable angle depending on where it isStopper that easily moves to hold the laptop when tiltedSmall drawer for keeping a pencil nearbyAlso useful as a drawing or writing tableVery sturdy – no worries at all about it collapsing or dropping my laptop.Cons:The legs are slightly further apart that I would like which makes it a little hard to set it some places. But I manage to adjust and figure it out.I don’t find it convenient to use a mouse on the table when it’s tilted (even though it doesn’t fall off, it’s just not that practical. I tend to keep my mouse on the table / couch next to me.Overall I think this was a great purchase and my work days have been improved 🙂

I overall like this laptop table. It works great when working on my tablet or computer. The materials are pretty good too. There are no chemical smells either which was important to me because of my chemical sensitivities. The only issue that I have is, since I am bedridden I wanted something I could also use to write on and eat on and do paintings and drawings, the desk is way too high for in bed. I love that I can tilt it and that works great, but the tray comes up to my top chest when sitting in bed at regular height. Not good if you want to write or eat or do anything else. I have to flatten it and have it rest on my lap. That is what I do with the flat trays I already have. I wish the tray came half of its height and then adjust up. It’s just too high. The other tray that they have is higher yet. Many other trays that I found online that were lower either didn’t adjust or were made of materials that I would be sensitive too. Overall I do like the tray for certain functions, but I still need to find a tray like this but at half it’s height to be fully functional.

I absolutely love this laptop desk! I was not expecting this pandemic to keep us home for this long and my current “office set up” is not conducive to working 8+ hours a day. I decided to look for a laptop desk so I could be more flexible where I conducted my working day. This desk came fully assembled, and was ready to use immediately. It is height adjustable which comes in handy when I decide it’s time to stand for a little while and work because I’m tired of sitting. I also love the fact that the tray tilts so when I am sitting I can tilt the tray towards me and the screen of my laptop becomes closer and I can also raise or lower the desk so the screen is eye level and I’m not staining my neck trying to see the screen. This was a great purchase!

This is one of the best purchase I’ve made in college especially now that everything is online. I can do all of my work easily in bed. I love that it fits my laptop and my notebook And is sturdy enough to really take notes on. It’s easy to adjust so you can use it laying down, sitting up with your knees comfortably underneath, and even on a normal table to stand while working. The built in storage is amazing to keep all of my pens and calculator. And the bottom bar works perfectly to prevent my laptop from moving and easy to slide so it’s not in the way when writing. Definitely worth the price and better than other options
