This is a very sturdy stand. With the computer I have, Panasonic CF-19, stays in place. It does shake while driving but that is expected when any weight get placed on the device. I would definitely buy this again if needed.

These laptop stands are excellent quality. Surprising actually, considering the price I paid. Similar stands, in stores, go for hundreds. I use them with HP EliteBook 2760p and a docking station and the fit is perfect. The docking station is a snug fit in the stand, and this makes the laptop removal a breeze. I’ve been using them in mulitiple work vehicles and not a single problem with any of them.This is not the kind of stand that will release your laptop quickly, but it will hold it like no one’s business. I’d recommend using a docking station with it.
Blue light special –
Seems like a solidly built piece of equipment. Will not be installing it in my truck. The plates that they ship to use the seat bolt, wont work because of how the plate that bolts to the floor is built. The bolt, rests inside of a cup. Cup is too narrow for the factory mounts (which BTW look like they could take a serious beating).I know there is a special mount that can be purchased separately. The 6 bolt/screw mount. That’s not happening either. Impossible to tell where all the wires and such are, without completely removing the carpet first. Sure I can feel them, but I’m not risking hitting something else.Not sure if I’m going to keep it or return it. Haven’t given up, but maybe this helps someone else.

Been using in my Nissan NV200 for about a month now. It does the job I need as a courier. Keep it to a light laptop or tablet and tighten everything up as some of the thumb screws will vibrate loose.

Works well in my mini-van. I have an HP 17″ laptop and this still holds it fine — but it’s at full width. Another 1/8″ and it would not fit. The bracket that this unit fits into (on the floor) is a bit thin and it has a tendency to bend. Wish the plate was thicker. Note that this unit by itself does not come with a fan! It has the opening for the fan, but the fan is not included. Overall — very satisfied with this unit.

Highly recommended; order it Tuesday without prime and it arrive Tuesday. Awesome. I install it in the Toyota Prius is was very sturdy. I will be installing it in the 2015 Chevy Silverado 3500HD High Country.

Easy to install a little flimsy if you use the mount under the seat

Great Product. Sturdy and easy to move when needed. I had to have a special installation as my car didn’t have seat rails that the bracket could attach to. So had both brackets welded together and attached it to a bolt on side of console.
