This cooling pad uses a single high rpm fan and a foam insulator to achieve better cooling effect without increased energy consumption. Before using this pad, I had my 17” laptop on a typical $20 cooling pad with a mesh rack and 5 fans, which kept the laptop at 61C in a 79f/26C room during heavy GPU workload. After switching to this cooling pad, the temperature reduced to 57C, so it is achieving a better cooling effect.Power is supplied from a 12W (12v 1A) power brick to a standard DC barrel connector. Fan speed is adjusted by a slider and max power use is 5.5W as measured by a power meter, which is a similar power use to many USB cooling pads on the market. While the lack of USB power may be an issue in terms of flexibility of use, it shouldn’t be too hard to fit a USB to DC adapter.According to the instructions, the foam seal helps improve cooling in laptops with bottom vents. This would make sense in terms of pushing more air through the laptop’s interior cooling pipes, instead of letting air leak out the side.Unlike other cooling pads, the air intake for this cooling pad is smaller, off to the side, and filtered. Which means that the fan should never get dusty, and the cooling performance should be the same regardless of whether you use it flat or at an angle. There are no LED lights, which reduces unnecessary power consumption and preserves a dark environment for enjoying media. This cooling pad is quite pricey but it is based on sound science, if you want to maximize the performance or longevity of your laptop then you should seriously consider upgrading to this!

Goes perfectly with my laptop (HP – Spectre x360 2-in-1 15.6″ Model:15-EB0053DX)

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Loud on highest settings BUT this cooling pad WORKS wonders! Used it on my 17 inch gaming laptop and did wonders while playing Cyberpunk on high settings!

I was expecting it to not work well at all and skeptical considering my fan from 2013 still is superior to any ones made today.I was blown away by truly how good this cooler was. I tested on a dell xps 16 7610 laptop and cpu temp went in the 30s idle. While with the other coolers I have I tested and cpu was in high 50s. The way this fan blew truly made a difference. Not sure about the phoam pads but they seem to be good though I feel like the vents got blocked but I feel air being pushed out so I guess they arent blocked. Least the side ones.I highly recommend this laptop cooler. Also the noise is fine because it can be controlled and well if you want high end cooling you gonna get noise.

Cons: Very loud. Sounds like it’s trying to take off. Also price is probably high for what it is but there’s only one brand on Amazon that sells in this style so :/Pros: Really works! Like others have said around 10 C. I honestly don’t know about the seal around the edges, and I think most of the benefit stems from the huge fan.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I was skeptical when I bought this product since $75 (after tax) seems absurdly high when there are other laptop coolers with over 11k+ reviews for only $25 but I bought a $1800 gaming laptop so I might as well test this “high end” laptop cooler.Upon receiving it, I immediately was impressed due to the packaging and the box itself. It’s like getting a takeout, when a restaurant gives you a crappy plastic bag versus a sophisticated paper that fits everything nicely. It makes the difference in the world.Anyways like I said earlier, I have a G15 Strix Advantage Edition and it has a 5900HX CPU and it’s such an amazing CPU but I have to handicap it to 50% or 75% to its normal capacity load because I simply don’t like over 90C of temperature which is normal for games like MFS 2020.When I played MFS 2020 at New York with ultra graphic settings, I was at around 93-97C consistently with my previous laptop cooler (now being returned) so that was just not a good idea for longevity. Now with this laptop cooler, with all the same settings and area and of course the laptop cooler at max speed settings, it dropped down the performance mode by a whopping 10C, turbo mode by a modest 6C & manual mode by 15C.Is it loud? Yes of course but why would I buy this when I’m concerned with the noise especially when I have a gaming laptop that can reach 49DB. Besides there’s always the fan settings if you’re worried. My only worry about this is the foam, will it last with the heat coming off from the side of my laptop? Time will tell. For now, I fully recommend this to anyone who is skeptical. If you bought a high end gaming laptop, don’t skimp out on your laptop cooler. The price justifies itself in the long run.See the photos for more references.

When I first saw this I dismissed it because it costs way too much. But then I got to thinking, most laptop coolers are all the same, and none of them move much air. So I took another look, and the product video convinced me to take a chance on this. This cooler is indeed unique. I don’t know of any other that creates an air tight seal around the bottom of my laptop. Also, most laptop coolers blow air TOWARD the bottom of your laptop, fighting against internal laptop fans blowing air out. On the flip side, this cooler actually sucks air AWAY from the bottom of my laptop and makes the internal laptop fans work more efficiently.I put this under my i9 beast of a laptop then checked on it an hour later. The bottom was cool to the touch when it would normally be hot. That alone tells me this laptop cooler works. The trick is getting an air tight seal. I had to pull out the extra bits of foam to make the opening as large as possible, then I centered my laptop over that opening. The foam itself seems like memory foam and conforms to the shape of my laptop. I’m running the cooler on high. There’s a dial control on the side and it’s powered by an AC adapter with a nice long cord.Yup, it’s pricey. But it does the job and is a one of a kind laptop cooler. My i9 was $3100 it deserves the best laptop cooler I can find, and this is it.
