Ordered this for my son to replace a 6 yr old unit. I bought a Skytech system for myself a few years ago, and have had no issues whatsoever with it, so I stuck with them for my son’s upgrade. He was mainly looking for a significant graphics card and processing upgrade and we were not disappointed with this choice.He purchased a 32″ MSI curved 4k monitor with 165ghz and played one of his most demanding games on highest possible setting. We monitored the CPU heat output and it barely increased at all.He has it sitting on his desktop and you can barely hear it running. We upgraded the RAM with some RGB Led Corsairs and added a 4TB hardrive in addition to the 1TB SSD that came with it. Now he has plenty of power and an abundance of storage for all of his games.

I’d been living off of laptops for over a decade and planned on building my own gaming PC so I could finally catch up with the times and play modern without long load times, stuttering cut scenes, and low frame rates. When it came down to it, though, after watching a “learn 2 computer” video on Youtube, I decided 2020 was not the year to summon the energy to learn how to match components together, make adjustments to my tower layout, watch for good prices on individual pieces, and put it all together without breaking anything. Building a PC is a skill I’d like to pick up someday, but… not this year.On a recommendation from TechBuyersGuru, it seemed like this was the prefab computer that best fit my budget (with room left over for a nice monitor and some other amenities), and I can’t even tell you how happy I’ve been with it.It’s pretty – I didn’t think I’d care about the RGB lighting, but every once in a while I stand back and watch the glowing rainbow pattern fade in and out, and it just tickles something in my brain.It’s powerful – Not that I have the highest standards after a 11 years of laptops, but just being able to casually boot up Final Fantasy XII and Just Cause 3 and Persona 4 Golden without a hiccup and play them at 2560 x 1440 while I’ve got other running on my other monitorsIt comes with everything but the monitor – the two wifi antennas helped make up for my terrible router, the keyboard is thick and clacky (and RGB-lit), the mouse (also RGB-lit) is far more accurate than the cheap Logitech things I’d gotten used to, and for all the other things I needed – two extra monitors, a microphone, a wi-fi dongle, and a couple cords to charge my headphones and controller – there were plenty of ports to accommodate all the USB and DisplayPort cords I needed.And it’s not loaded up with a billion proprietary programs that constantly update themselves in the background. It’s pretty much just a clean install of Windows 10, you do what you want with the rest of the space.If I wanted to find something to complain about, the power button sticks when I push it in all the way, so I have to remember to push it lightly. That’s it. That’s the whole “con” section.Really, I couldn’t be happier with this purchase.

I don’t know the standards of PCs are anymore. I was using a Mac for years. 6 or more years. came back to the computer for a pc in this upgrade. So.. The graphic card is powerful enough to watch videos in 8k. yes.. you read that correctly I tested this on you tube. Wild experience. Issues with the computer. I had to change out my powercord. something wasn’t right with it and the pc kept dying. because I have been away from a PC for so long I’m use to just set up a mac and going with it. didn’t realize there is a sealed air bag inside the tower. Pc was a little bit loud and had read a review that said this pc was loud. remove the bag. YEs.. yes I did have the pc running with the sealed air bag inside. Not sure what performance this thing can do with games. I pretty much brought this so I can use it as a work computer. With gaming benefits 😀 I’ve got an older style game that’s online play. don’t seem to have issues. Also there are some LED light control buttons in the if you like changing the pc color. and there’s a program that lets you change a fan or something inside your tower. opening up the case is easier with the turn knob screws. (don’t know the technical name of them) I’m use to the days of screws and a screw drive to open up a pc tower. so this is a huge plus for me

Just got the PC today. Everything runs smoothly out of the box and I’m getting 100+ frames per second and amazing graphics on every game I have tried so far (mostly warzone). FedEx shipping was several days late as usual, and the exterior of the box was slightly damaged because they are a horrible shipping company, but the PC itself was packaged very well and arrived in pristine condition. This pre-build was somehow cheaper than I could build myself with the same parts, with none of the headache. Hardware was assembled properly, and software was installed, updated, and ready to run. The mouse and keyboard are also higher quality than I was expecting. 10/10 happy with my purchase.

I’m getting tick off this computer works fine when playing for a while but when you get off like putting your computer to sleep, shut down, hibernation or whatever. When you boot it back up the screen freezes at the start menu. I tried emailing tech support about this issue and they ignore it.Edit: you can fix this problem by heading to your power settings and turn off a few things. 5 stars

I bought Skytech Chronos Gaming PC Desktop – AMD Ryzen 7 2700X, NVIDIA RTX 2070 Super 8GB, 16GB DDR4 (2X 8GB), 1TB SSD, B450M Motherboard, 650 Watt Gold (Ryzen 7 2700X | RTX 2070 Super). This PC looks amazing and works great. it is fast quiet and a beast. My gaming experience is awesome since i got this pc and researching on the internet is a breeze. The only suggestion I have for this company is not to use Fed Ex as a carrier horrible company, other than that I love my new PC.

First things first. I ordered this prebuild on the 7th and received it on the 11th, just 4 days!!. I was real busy with work so I just was able to unpack as I got home at 1 a.m. , to see what I had gotten. Being that it was so late, I was very tired and I knew the next couple of days were going to be very busy at work, I decided to leave it alone until my day off. Believe you me, that was no easy task, not touching my brand new monster pc and have it stare back at me for 2 days waiting to get used.Specs:Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core 3.7GHz 4.8GHz CPUMotherboard: Asrock B550M MotherboardCard: AMD Radeon RX 6700 12GB GDDR6 Graphics CardMemory: 16GB DDR4 3200MHz Gaming Memory T-ForcePower Supply: 750W 80 PLUS Gold Certified Power Supply EVGAPrimary: 1TB M.2 NVMe SSDOS: Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64-bitCase: Skytech Chronos Black Edition Gaming CaseFans: 4 RGB dual ring fansCPU Cooler: Cooler Master MASTERLIQUID ML240L RGBNow, the pc came in an amazon box that was twice the size of the Skytech pc packaging box that was inside, with extra packaging paper. The pc itself in the skytech box came surrounded by the standard foam used in this case to ship computers, but on top of that, the machine was wrapped in a Skytech loggo black cloth bag. It comes in with an introduction packet that shows a list of quality control points checked off, including benchmark testing as well. Also has a quick start guide in case you need it. To get the side panels off was a bit of work, the screws were on tight, had to use a screwdriver first and then figured out that it didn’t open like my old case, but you had to pull back and then up to dislodge. There’s a large foam bubble packed within the case itself to keep the inner components from shifting during shipping, that was very surprising to me as well as a little nerve wracking as I tried to maneuver it out without damaging or shifting the internals. I had a moment of panic when something rattled inside and I saw movement, but it thankfully was only the wi-fi antennas that became dislodged from the packaging. The first thing I immediately saw, as you can see in pictures, was that the video card had been damaged, but more on that later.It came with a set of nice RGB wired keyboard and mouse. Mine are much better, so I will use these as backup in case of failure. It also has one fan on the back and 3 on the front, RGB as well. The liquid cooled CPU cooler is also RGB. Best thing is, the mouse and keyboard ( my old ones as well as the ones that came with pc) and my headphones are all RGB, and I can control the lighting effects from the app on pc or from a button placed on top front of case itself! I have 16 Gb of memory that I know I will add to later on, I think the max is 128Gb that it can support. It also comes in with a M.2 Key E for wi fi card that is blazing fast. Funny thing is, this is my very first M.2 ssd and I could not figure out where the ssd was placed at first.When I set it up temporarily on the shipping box ( have to make room for it or buy a bigger desk) to initially test it, lo and behold, I pushed the power button and nothing happened. This is where I thought the damaged card came into play. So I went to the Skytech site in search of support, found their phone number, and a pre-recording tells me I have to do a support reservation as covid has severely impacted their support capabilities. No way I was going to wait, so I saw the support chat button and clicked on that. Immediately someone came on after I filled in basic info on first chat form. I will say they were extremely helpful. It took somewhere between 90-120 minutes to resolve, going from: checking power plug was in (lol), wall outlet working, basic stuff. He had me remove the ram, so as to make sure they were seated correctly and had not loosend in shipping.Then we did a fan clip test, where he had me unplug the fan power cable from the board and use a paper clip to bridge the power connection to see if the power supply was working. I am not a novice working on my pc, but had never done anything electrical, so he sent me pics to make sure I understood what I had to do. BTY I opted to do the processes myself online with him rather than waste time sending pc back to check. So the fans worked, so power supply was good. We unplugg the MOBO connectors to the power supply to re-seat them, nothing. Then he tells me to look for power connectors on MOBO to case, and I right away see there’s nothing connected to them! Upon further inspection I found the cable dangling from the bottom, don’t understand how they could have become unplugged. That was it, plugged them in an I had power to the pc.Now I had to plug in the display, and as I did so, I still kept thinking in the back of my mind about the video card damage. As I turned back on, I had a welcome to windows image that lasted a couple of seconds and I then lost signal to display. So after another round of tests, re-seating the card and it’s power cables, changing hdmi cables, I had a display. That’s when I finally saw the ssd mounted behind the card. Initially, the display “stuttered” a few times and I firmly plugged the hdmi in again and it stopped. He gave me some urls to download some benchmark software and drivers just to be sure the card was performing and the damage was all but cosmetic. I will get back to them if I encounter any issues and will update further.Been playing Battlefield 2042 with no issues of display, heating or freezing. I also forgot to mention, and you can see in the pics, there is a top mesh on the top of the case to keep dust down, and the front of the case is also a stiff mesh but with larger holes. That I think I will later fix by placing a made for pc mesh in between the front cover and front fans and see how it affects the machine’s temperature. It really does not matter, as I own a Data Vac electric duster, which is essentially an electric blower about 5 inches wide and 10 tall that produces much more air than the cans of compressed air and I don’t have to buy one every month, as I blow out all the dust from my machine. Yes I do it monthly, why wait for it to get bad and affect my investment.We will see what happens and will keep updating if any further issues arise. Here’s to gaming!!!!!Update – – -6/28/2021—–Been playing Battlefield mostly and am getting higher temps than I would like, high 90’s, and you can hear fans. Had to install afterburner to get better control of fan speeds and to get them to engage at a lower temp before it starts getting to bad. Also the display stuttering is still there, although it varies from several minutes to hours in between doing so.

This computer is great very solid build with great parts certainly worth the price I usually build my own but did not want to this time and this was pretty comparable to building myself also it is totally upgrade able I just upgraded the ram to two corsair 16gb sticks making 32 gb of ram and i got them with rgb to match the case i am also waiting on two corsair fans so i will update when i get those and set them up from what i have been reading on forums is that asrock isn’t the best for multiple fans let alone with pwm but we shall see there is also a hub for the other fans i can plug it in to if needed but we shall see and getting an m.2 SSD also you can stream and game at the same time highly recommend

I was needing a new PC after a shipping company improperly packed mine for a cross country move… The people at skytech didn’t make the same mistakes.Computer came well packed and supported both in the box to prevent major shocks to it as well as internally to ensure heavy components didn’t flex or shake during shipping.The PC itself is quality. There was no extra bloatware installed on it, specs were as advertised, and the parts used at least in mine were pretty similar to the ones I’d have picked out myself manufacturer wise. All names any pc builder would recognize and not the super cheap end parts.The ONLY issue I’ve had with it, and it isn’t worth taking off a star or sending the computer back, was one of the front fans is noticably slower than the other 2 and doesn’t like to start spinning on cold boot, but a simple nudge is all it takes to get it spinning. Honestly an easy swap out for me so if that’s the only issue in a PC that traveled from Cali yo the east coast, I can’t complain.Performance and thermals are solid, the bios was properly setup, no having to go in and enable xmp to get your proper ram speeds.There are a few things I’d like to have seen done differently just from the standpoint of a PC builder.1) using a micro ATX motherboard saves money, but I’d like to have seen a full sized board in it for the sake of spacing.2) case fans are not addressable RGB, you simply push a button to cycle thru patterns and colors.3) case fans are not run thru chassis fan pins on the board so the speeds cannot be monitored or controlled.None of these detract from the quality of the build, they’re just things I’d like to have seen from a higher end prebuilt like this.

I purchased this as my first desktop computer in over 10 years. I primarily had a gaming laptop since 2010, but as I live alone and during shelter in place decided to upgrade my gaming situation.This prebuilt computer checked all the boxes. I was deciding between this and several other options but after doing a little research on the graphics card, processor, RAM, SSD hard drive, and even the power supply I realized I wanted to spend a little more to have my computer parts last me several years. It’s only been a month of use and I don’t plan to overclock or mod, but this machine has met all expectations. It’s quick on boot up, doesn’t lag, feels great, looks great. I love the RGB.The only issue I had was with a software issue of ASROCK RGB LED, I cant get it to save my settings so it boots up in blue instead of always going back to rainbow. Minor issue at the end of the day but annoying none the less. I reached out to Sky Tech Support and no response, but they did reach out on Amazon quickly regarding a shipping dispute I had with another product. Overall still happy
