I love the color of it and the tap to mute option. It has a very crisp and warm sound that vastly out performs the blue yeti I used to want. If you’re an enthusiast gamer/streamer who wants something built to last and visually pleasing with an excellent assortment of features and a high standard of functionality this is the stand alone for you just make sure to get yourself a boom arm as well I wish it came included but that’s my only issue. And the stand HyperX includes is still very premium albeit the sub par way to use the mic so if you lack space this is will be fine.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is a video review for the Quadcast. General pros and cons will go here:Pros:+ Very intuitive mute/unmute system, convenient gain control dial+ Warmer sound, but overall has a good balance to sound natural+ Four polar patterns to choose from, which is handy for things other than gaming+ Build quality looks solid but still is quite light+ Built-in audio jack for a monitor mode+ Shock mount and pop filter included!Cons:- Red lighting unable to be changed- Gain control printing is inaccurate- Mute/unmute area is matte and gets easily smudged- A bit on the higher end for pricing on “gamer stand-up mics”, however there are additional features for the premium pricingWith these in mind, I still believe this microphone is a very solid 9.5/10 as most arguments are trivial and doesn’t detract at all from the function of the mic. Great work HyperX!

This is such a beautiful mic. It’s easy to use. Plug it right in and start speaking away. The mute button on this is also fantastic. Tap it and it’s mutes. The RGB also turns off when you mute the microphone making it easy to distinguish. On the fly gain control as well is very helpful. Pair this with some kind of digital mixer and you’ll be speaking like the pros. It might a litt big on the size but it’s not as heavy as a blue yetti.

I have owned many many mics ranging from the snowball to the AT20200 XLR. I just replaced my Blue Yeti with the Quadcast and immediately fell in love. It certainly picks up less white noise than the Blue Yeti (In my environment). The red LED is an awesome indicator if you are live and ready to record. It is surprisingly light compared to the Blue Yeti and AT2020. I have had multiple comments on Twitch and in Discord asking what I did because I sound much clearer. One subjective con is that the Quadcast does not add the same amount of bass that the Yeti does, however, that is nothing to knock a star off for. I use VoiceMeeter Banana so it was an easy fix.TLDR: This microphone is great for streamers/content creators/average users. Great that HyperX has entered into this market. Excited to see what else they come out. RGB Quadcast? Special Accessories? Keep an eye out!

Before I decided to buy this I was torn between this, the elgato wave 3 and the blue yeti pro x and even though I concluded the wave 3 might have the best sound quality I realized that the sound quality of the other two mics are just as good if not only very VERY slightly worse. Not really noticeable at all since the hyper x sounds amazing in a discord call or on stream. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you buy this mic if you want quality AND great design and aesthetic. I preferred the cylinder shape of the hyper x and the ability to customize the RGB leds on it complete the design and feel of my set up.Another tip! If you have a noisey background that might bleed through your hyper x you can use the built in noise reduction filter on OBS or Discord to pretty much completely eliminate anything being picked up besides your voice. It works flawlessly. If you have an nvidia GPU you should go with nvidia broadcast instead of the filters because its even better for noise reduction and lets you choose it as your output on your programs like discord and OBS.I even teated blasting loud music and fan noise from my phone right next to the mic and it didnt pick it up! It only picks up when I speak.Overall, amazing product!

Originally I purchased an AudioTechnica 2020+ USB while the sound was great and it did the trick as soon as I read and watched reviews 3 main features stood out to me with the HyperX Quadcast. Firstly physical controls are a god send with the Quadcast. Having a physical control for gain levels on the fly is a must if you’re looking to Twitch stream. This really makes things amazingly easy while trying to focus on the game. Another stand out features are the built in pop filter and while it does work rather well I would still recommend an additional pop filter to help really clean up audio.Speaking of control the touch sensor and lighting makes it easy to quickly mute myself during a stream and always lets me AND my stream know if I am muted. Last but not least is the 4 different recording options with a quick switch, this makes the Quadcast super versatile if I decide to include someone in my stream by quickly switching from cardiod to bi directional on the fly.The most important piece obviously is the recording quality. I can say with ease the Quadcast has much better mids, lows and highs with a fantastic aesthetic to boot.If you’re looking to start streaming and want something that’s easy to setup, looks great, sounds better and has extremely impressive recording quality look no further!

I’m not an audiophile or anything, but as a content creator and streamer, I have to KIND OF know what’s good and what’s not. This microphone is EVERYTHING that every person you trust has said about it, in a positive manner. So far, I haven’t run into a single thing I don’t like about it. With four polarity patterns it’s uses are vast. And color me tickled with the red LED light. I love LED ANYTHING, and my stream corner is quite colorful. So this mic fits right in. Sound wise, it’s miles better than both my headset mic, and my XLR mic running through a Scarlett Solo. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MICROPHONE to anyone doing podcasts, streaming, or even just wanting to sound nicer than they already do when speaking into your PC.

Friends have told me the sound quality is great! I’m extra and mostly wanted it for the looks, but I’m really digging how some of my highlight clips sound since I have it record my mic as well as game video. It feels very well made. I do wish the knob for adjusting gain had a little more resistance, but that’s only because one of my cats likes to headbutt everything he sees haha!Even though it has one built in, I would still recommend an external pop filter for more professional use.

I originally had the Blue Yeti mic but needed another mic to stream, and the Hyper X was a great upgrade.

Great mic for the price I make YouTube videos on gaming and this is such a good addition to my set up (I record and edit on my PS4) and with the right settings after a little bit of tweaking in the PS4 settings this mic is awesome for recording while playing with friends it acts as my chat mic and my voice recording mic if only my friends sounded as good as me in the videos 😂 for sure pick this mic up. Also I’m not even kidding in the first vid I put up with this mic being used I saw a spike in views on my channel. I’m assuming this was due to not sounding like I record with a potato anymore.
