So what a great deal. They look great just like the original (worth note these actually have A B imprinted on the red buttons), and match my retro console perfectly. They have a usb connection and are exactly the same size as the originals. The play is fine and controls are very responsive as well.

I love these retro controllers. They look, feel, and behave just like the original NES controllers. No problems with quality or workmanship. Highly recommend for those building a Reteopie system (or similar).

While playing games on RetroPie/Emulationstation with 8bitdo Pro controllers, there’s usually minimal lag response time with wireless Bluetooth connectivity, but still playable on most retro games. Unfortunately, at least one game has a noticeable delay: Kung-Fu on NES. It’s so bad that I decided to buy these wired controllers.I’m happy to say it dramatically decreased the lag response time! Although not completely gone, it’s much more responsive to quick side-to-side movements, jumps, and punches/kicks than the wireless 8bitdo controllers. I would definitely recommend these wired controllers, easily worth the price!In conclusion, I’ll use the 8bitdo Pro wireless controllers for most retro games. But if I run across any other NES games with noticeable lag response, I’ll gladly switch to these wired USB controllers instead.

Feels slightly light in the hand, but I don’t have an original NES controller currently to compare the weight against. Otherwise it’s cheap and it’s mostly worked with every emulator I’ve tried so far. With OpenEmu on Mac I had to setup the buttons in a weird order or it wouldn’t work though. If you’re searching through – try setting the buttons in this order: A, B, Select, Start, Left, Right, Up, Down. I think it the only important part is to set left/right before up/down.

Controllers came as described, it is a liltle bit different from the original, but not in a bad way. It works and feels great, i can play all of the NES games on my PC. And the price is great , much cheaper than original controllers, no complaint.

These controllers are great an inexpensive. I have a raspberry pi that I turned into a retro game station and these controller works great for that. It also works well with game boy advance emulated games and few arcade games. It controllers are limited since they only have directional, start, select, and AB buttons. There are no trigger buttons and such. The controller does feel like the original controller except a bit lighter and cheaper in some areas. The cable has some length to it but I would say it will not make it from your TV to your couch. It is pretty much plug and play. The default controls work for me but you can adjust them how you see fit. These controllers do not work for the nes classic ad the plugs arc different from what the classic has which I a bummer. It did work for the SNES classic however limited buttons. The look mirrors the original controllers minus the USB part. Overall these controlleds are great for multi player simulations or such.

Pretty accurate facsimile of the original NES controllers. Liked it doesn’t try to add additional features like auto fire or other stuff that would’ve made it less authentic. Build quality is OK. Packaging is better than expected for the cost. Appreciate Amazon workers, hope we will see the day when your situation gets better! Our heart goes out to you. Thanks!

Finally was able to use this at a recent house party. Controllers felt great and familiar on the hands. Reminds me of the original controls I had when I was a kid. Would recommend these to others. Love playing old retro Nintendo games with a legit controller.
