I have been very satisfied with this camera. Personally, I’ve disabled the digital zoom (I dislike the effect it has on quality), and have gotten some phenomenal photographs with this camera. It goes with me and my family for every drive or hike we do, and has not had any real problems. I did end up purchasing a full size tripod as well, but that was more for my preference for outdoors photography.

Bought this item for my son’s birthday. It was a bundle with different accessories. Was missing the camera case. Contacted Amazon and seller. They were excellent. Seller immediately contacted me and mailed the camera case. My son loves the camera and took photos all week.

Bought this camera set for my 12yo son’s birthday – he loves it, and has been using it like crazy! I love that it’s got way more features than a “point and shoot” camera, giving him the opportunity to learn about the technical side of photography without mom & dad breaking the bank. The accessories are nice too, he’s been playing with the table tripod & zoom to get cool wildlife shots. This seems to be a serious enough camera for a beginner/hobbyist, and we can always upgrade later if he develops a real desire to go pro-level. Good camera at a reasonable price point!
