I think this is a good option for a beginner. The picture quality is not bad it’s about what you can expect for a cheaper end camera. It feels kinda plasticity but durable.

My 7 years old daughter likes taking photos. She used to use my phone and it takes my phone space quickly. Now I buy this for her, and I can take my phone back lol. This camera has good picture quality and light weight. It is easy for her to take and she can take as many pictures as she wants. Worth each penny on it!

I’m just beginning with a YouTube channel so I didn’t want to spend a lot. This camcorder is actually legit and takes clear video- much better than I expected. The mic sound works well and the camera is lightweight enough so it doesn’t make my purse weigh a ton when I take it places. Nice camera if you’re a tech savvy person and can figure things out on your own as the manual isn’t super detailed. You will need to buy your own SD card, but that’s typical.

This is a great starter camera for my kids. It is inexpensive, uses full size SD cards (of which I have plenty), and is simple to operate. I put a 128gb microsd card in a fullsize SD card adapter and it works fine.My kids don’t need 30 megapixels, so I lowered the resolution down to 16 megapixels. Set at 16, they can take 26,800 photos on a single card. That’s a scary idea for me as an advanced hobbyist/wannabe pro photographer, but for my kids, its fine.This little camera is no bigger than a deck of cards, has image stabilization, and face detect. I haven’t tried these out fully yet, but so far, I think its great. Again, for my kids to use (and hopefully not lose). But if they do lose it, its not a huge investment.Overall, I am very happy with this for them.

This camera is very light and I can take it anywhere with me. Its memory is efficient and images can be edited directly on the camera or use software on computer to edit pictures. It has instant gratification but some people may not like it. Depends on photograph perspective. It is also good on moving images. So it is good for live stream video across the internet.

I bought this camera for my 3 year old daughter and she just loves it. The body is styled to look similar to a many other cameras in the mid size form factor. My wife uses a Canon G7X and my daughter likes to play pretend with this G06A and take pictures with mommy.The camera is surprising light for it’s size. The case is plastic with faux leather and brushed aluminum. The lens is fixed with no optical zoom and only a 4x digital zoom. At any zoom level the pictures become grainy. In theory a fixed lens can be attached, but the sensor and built in lens is the same as what you would find on any low end cell phone and I can’t image that would work well.The flash works well enough but I couldn’t discern any difference with the “Beauty Face” option on or off. The timer option works well with a large countdown and an audible tick for each second. I’ve attached a picture to compare the quality between the G06A and the Cannon G7X. The focal plane is much deeper with the G06A but the colors aren’t as accurate.The screen does flip up which works great when taking selfies. I suppose it could work for streaming but I didn’t test that feature.At this price point, expectations need to be realistic. It comes with a 32 GB memory card, 2 batteries, a charger and cable, and a neck strap. With so many accessories one can imagine what must have been done to the camera.If you are looking for a decent toy camera for a young child, I recommend this camera. Kids can pretend they are using mommy or daddy’s nice camera and have a great time.
