It works with BT with no lag and fast pairing when you press both buttons Rec and C1. After that stays paired and works seamlessly.The C1 one button work with the same memory that you have in the camera, and the zoom in and zoom out works digitally in video mode.Also this remote can work as a trigger for self talking head videos for YouTube, as you don’t have to pair the phone app that it doesn’t work as fast as this combo. The price compared to the original Sony one its $40 cheaper that is a nice plus.The build quality is solid, with metal and magnets, its on the heavier side but nothing that cant be handle. Also has a nice button to rotate the camera instead of moving the remote so you still have the controls facing you. It has the same button configuration as the Sony one.I would like to see improvement on the buttons that they are not dent it so you don’t accidentally press them, but the on/off switch its a very nice addition.

While others are made of plastic, craftmanship-wise, this is the top. Also, rather than utilizing a battery, the unit charges via USB-C. Highly recommend!
