10 reviews for Google Pixel 2, 64GB, Clearly White, GSM Unlocked Android Smartphone, 5″ OLED Display, Fingerprint, 12.2MP+ 8MP Cameras (Renewed)

This phone is everything I expected and more. Because its from Google it has none of the usual bloatware installed by other manufactures. Because its from Google I get instant updates for security and system updates. While some newer, higher priced phones may have better cameras, I’m highly doubtful that this one can be beat for the same price.

So pleased! My Amazon Renewed Google Pixel 2 arrived earlier than expected and in mint condition. Not even a blemish. It was more affordable to buy the Pixel 2 than it was to fix the screen on my old Pixel 3a. And a bonus was that this particular Pixel has 128GB, double that of my newer 3a! Touch screen is perfect, and the fingerprint scanner works perfectly. Battery life is decent, but the phone is probably about 3 years old, so given that, my Pixel will still hold a charge all day at work. And if I need to, the Battery Saver prolongs my battery considerably more. I have never purchased a refurbished smart phone, and I will definitely do it again, and would recommend Amazon Renewed to anyone looking to save money on a quality device.

I have been using the phone for about two weeks now. What I ordered, a “Renewed Google Pixel 2 64GB White GSM phone according to product description. What I expected and thought I would receive was a Factory unlocked Pixel 2 compatible with both GSM and CDMA with Android 10 OS already installed from seller Hybrid IT, which I did. ( Important because not all sellers are created equal the phone had no apparent scratches or dings that I could see and the battery to date holds a respectable charge) I waited a few weeks to leave a review so I could make sure the battery performance was as advertised for renewed phones. It has exceeded my expectations so far. Love the phone. My only disappointment with this purchase was that the phone came with a generic charger that while technically compatible for regular (slow) charging is not capable of fast or rapid charging the device AND it did not include the transfer USB C to C adapter. I had a spare charger and adapter so not a huge issue for me but will be an issue for those who don’t. Product page needs to be updated to accurately reflect what’s in the box.

Received in perfect condition. Took it to Verizon for a SIM card and their customer service said the phone looked new. Only kink with phone is with messenger plus, it randomly thinks I am in a car and turns on driving mode blocking calls and texts. Changed messenger app, works fine.. Customer service from this seller was wonderful.

In 2020 it holds up really well. It may not be the fastest, brightest screen but it works for me because it’s compact, has a really great screen although not the best, definitely among them, even in 2020. Charges quickly. The lack of a headphone jack is a minor announce. There really isn’t anything to complain about.

This phone is great! Mind you, I am replacing a 2014 Galaxy S4 with a super loose charging port that made it painful to reliably even just recharge my phone without knocking the charging cable loose, so my impressions are mostly based on comparing this phone with my old phone. But the cosmetic condition of the Google Pixel 2 that I received was excellent. The remaining battery life is at about 90% which is not too shabby given that these renewed phones are supposed to have at least 80% of their initial battery capacity remaining. The camera is awesome. I love the portrait mode and the quality of photos and videos is very good in general. I haven’t been able to engage the Astrophotography mode of the camera which you are supposed to be able to do with these phones even though they are older Pixel phones. I don’t know if I just haven’t been in just the right conditions for this mode to activate. I also wasn’t able to use Google Pay the first time I tried it yesterday but with the COVID-19 epidemic and didn’t want to hang around too long at the cashier of the store I was at fiddling to get this to work. I will be trying it again at some point. The phone included the little adapter to be able to connect regular wired headphones which I appreciated since I don’t own any wireless headphones yet. The fingerprint reader is a nice feature. I am finding myself frequently using the Active Edge feature to launch Google Assistant. Some of the other things that I like about the phone aren’t so much about the phone itself so much as just being able to use the latest version of Android. On my old phone, I was stuck on Android version 4. The bezels on this phone are kind of ridiculously large, but I knew would be the case when I bought it. Overall, this was a great value. I was debating between buying this phone and the Pixel 3a. My guess is that I would not have been unhappy buying the 3a but I don’t regret buying the Pixel 2. By the way, I asked around at mobile repair shops about the cost of replacing the battery of the Pixel 2 and the going rate in the Sacramento, CA area seems to be about $75. With the phones I have owned so far, I was used to just being able to replace the battery myself whenever I felt the need.

I used to have the original Google Pixel 32 GB. I decided to make the switch a little over a year ago from Apple because to be honest, I was done giving Apple my coins especially because with each new phone, older generations of the iPhone kept slowing down and messing up. I also have most of my files and info on Gmail and Google Drive both for work and personal so the switch was much needed! The Google Pixel was great but it was a little slow and the battery life has diminished significantly within a year of use so I decided to switch to Google Pixel 2.I purchased a refurbished Google Pixel 2, white, with 64 GB. I was seriously SHOCKED when I saw the quality of the phone upon opening the box. I had to do a double take and check to make sure they hadn’t charged me full price for a brand new Google Pixel 2 because it looks impeccable. My older phone had little bumps around the edges which is expected for any refurbished phone but behold, this phone has absolutely no dents or scratches. The phone is sleek and easy to hold.Since most of my files are on Google Drive, I was able to switch everything over easily. I easily moved the SIM card from my old phone to the new one effortlessly. I have Cricket Wireless and it was able to connect just fine. I didn’t lose any files in the process of switching over which is a major plus because I can remember the countless times I lost files with iPhone.Another bonus that was unexpected was that the phone already came with a glass screen protector! That was a great surprise. Overall the phone so far is working amazingly. It’s a smooth design so it just sits well in your hand. I was about to get the Google Pixel 2 XL but since I have small hands I wanted to opt out for the regular size and boy was it worth it.I bought this phone from Tech Wholesale and they were amazing with delivery as well. Since I live in a gated apartment they didn’t even leave the phone over the gate, they left a notice letting me know that I could pick it up at a local Walgreens which was super easy. If you’re looking to update your phone because you’re just tired of it slowing down on you or tired of constantly having to charge your phone, I highly recommend purchasing this one from Tech Wholesale. Google Pixel thus far has not let me down and I plan on being a loyal customer (until proven otherwise haha). This phone is a billion times better than any iPhone and yes that’s even counting the newest one because that one is extra as hell and I’m over all their dumb updates haha.

The phone looks fine nothing noticeable to complain about this is the second renewed phone I have purchased the first was the iPhone XR . The charging brick doesn’t seem to be the original but it was no big issue because I have tons of USB C cables at home . I actually thought about buying the pixel 3a but settled for this . The phone works well over the s8 I had because the sound was becoming an issue . If I have any issues I will update the review but for now I think it’s safe for us to stop paying premium prices for phones .

  9. AJACKS

Fantastic phone in great condition from Amazon only two negative things i can think off is that it takes about a day to learn how to use from using a Samsung phone also the battery port is different and finally no port for headphones other then that it is a fantastic phone

Great Condition. Looked brand new. Battery easily lasts through the day with moderate usage, even then, it charges fast. The only downside is the generic charger, instead of the Google-branded charger, which I knew from the beginning. Purchased a separate cable and power brick with power delivery that works great! Really an awesome phone. The camera rocks, and takes great pictures of rocks (field verified).
