If you have a ZV-1 you have a few choices for camera cages. I purchased another well known brand while I continued to look for the “ultimate” cage… I found this and my search ended. Not only does this protect the camera well but it has a sweet handgrip… AND most IMPORTANTLY… it has an ARCA SWISS PLATE BUILT IN! No more having to deal with adding a plate and getting in the way of the battery/SD card.Trust me, you WANT THIS CAGE!

I use my ZV1 to shoot stills just as much as I use it to capture video, and this little accessory makes holding the camera so much better! It feels like a quality product that should last. Highly recommend!

A solid and attractive cage for my ZV-1. Compared to other cages I was looking at, this allows for easy access to the battery compartment, full range of movement for the screen, and a respectable amount of attachments to be mounted at various locations. I mostly bought it to give my camera a little more heft and grip, but I really do appreciate having the extra options available to me in terms of outfitting it for certain occasions.

I really like this case. I also have the Smallrig (also nice, but lacks a couple features, would give it 4.5 stars) and this is better in a couple of important ways. Most importantly, because the bottom is Arca-Swiss compatible, you can mount it on most tripods without having to use an Arca-Swiss plate. The second great feature is the 3/8″ Arri mounting pin. This allows you to connect a handle without having to use screws or add an adapter. These two things separate it from the Smallrig IMO, making it just a little better.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is a really good change for my Sony ZV-1. It adds extra grip so it makes it easier to hold the camera. The cage is made so that the bottom battery flap opens so you can easily change your batteries and memory cards.

This cage fits great on the ZV-1 and it allows for easy access to the battery compartment. It easily attaches to my tripod and feels pretty good in my hand. Solid metal cage definitely adds a bit of protection to the front and sides of the camera. Order a wristband and your ZV-1 will be well protected.
