I’m just starting to make videos of my rock hounding adventures, this Mic is lightweight and doesn’t weigh me down! Love it!

I brought this item because I needed a directional mic, aka shotgon mic and did not want it to be big and in the way like a normal shotgun mic, I also needed it to pick up sound outside with wind as i would be filming a wedding , the dead cat cover worked great for that! While indoor I stood 20 feet away from it and whispered a few words and it was able to clearly hear me, also the gain on this mic is very high so I put the audio input sensitivity on my camera very low (D300s) remember to turn on the mic or you will have zero audio.. For $30 you get apple quality packaging, well built mic, no battery, mic muff and dead cat muff, plus bag for dead cat. Bag is great size for carrying dead cat and in ear headphones.

This product has lasted me quite a long time and it is still awesome. It slides into a shoe clip. It is very easy to use and only requires a “AAA” battery. The wind sock makes outdoor recording very easy. This device does work with apple adapters.

Honestly I’ve had this mic for about 3 years and it’s been holding up great. The sound quality is actually not bad and honestly isn’t that noticeable that I’m not using a Rode mic or something of higher quality. This mic does use AAA batteries and you have to turn it on/off yourself but I’ve found that the battery of this mic lasts FOREVER. For the time I’ve had this mic, I’ve only changed the battery about 5 times max, which is awesome. It’s a great little camera mic and it great of you’re a vlogger/youtuber who’s on a budget

The microphone is exactly as it is described. My camera did not have a jack for the mic so I used a standard audio recorder and it worked just as well. This is a definite for the startup video producers!!

I like it. It doesn’t record the best sound, I’ve heard better, but, this item is great for anyone who is looking to start documentary work. I used it to record a class project and it worked great.

This shotgun mic is a winner.I purchased it a few months ago, and the third time I used it, it began to add a clicking sound to everything recorded with it. I contacted the manufacturer and within a week, I had a brand new mic in my hands. 5 star customer service from Movo, the mic was replaced with no questions asked.My new mic works perfectly.This mic is small, but it still works well. I was expecting something a little larger, but the smaller size makes it more convenient to transport. It will fit into any DSLR/Video Camera with a 3.5mm audio jack, and it hooks in nicely to the top of the camera. Also, the base of the mic has a 1/4 in. hole which lets you mount it to a separate tripod if you care to.Also, the windscreen works well, if it is completely covering the mic. The windscreen made for crystal-clear audio in blistering San Francisco wind.One small downside to this mic is that it chews through batteries. Be sure to bring a few extras because the batteries will go a lot faster than you will expect.The mic doesn’t produce professional-grade audio, but for the price, it is a must-have. It works well with my DSLR, and the windscreen is a big PLUS!!
