Full Disclosure: Had to return this after a day bc they sent the Hong Kong version instead of US but based on that limited time, it was a nice phone especially for the current reduced pricing.Very attractive phone due to the unique color and interesting camera design. The bottom bezel is rather large by today’s standards tho. Pictures were nice as was the screen. The phone connected to T-Mobile 5G without issue. As an added bonus: There was a clear gel case in the box that was not mentioned on the product information.I would recommend this phone based on the current prices.

This phone does have a 4500 mAh battery. It may incorrectly report a text value of 3300 to some tools, but if you use something like AccuBattery which measures capacity based on the time it takes to charge at a certain current you will see the correct capacity. See screenshot.Working well on at&t for me, though I can’t yet try 5g in my area.

What’s NOT to LOVE💕❗BATTERY LIFE ☑️ VALUE FOR MONEY ☑️ FINGERPRINT RECOGNITION ☑️ (NOKIA 8.3 Fingerprint is Better than Samsung Note 10+)… NOKIA 8.3 PERFORMANCE & CAPABILITIES TOP NOTCH on EVERY LEVEL❗Some NOKIA 8.3 Features, I Like Even More, than my Samsung Note 10+…the only thing missing is the stylus…which to me, doesn’t matter, because NOKIA 8.3 CONTACTS App with NOTES CAPABILITIES, IS FAR SUPERIOR to Samsung. This is my 1st NOKIA Phone… & It won’t be my last… I LOVE💕 THIS PHONE💕❣️

Thoroughly impressed with this phone. It can handle any task you put it to, the camera is stunning, and it lacks all the excessive bloat. I am currently using Mint mobile with no issues whatsoever.Originally I was thinking of getting a tablet and a new phone, and even a laptop as well, but this phone has the size, performance, and compatibility for me to sufficiently use it for everything. It has 5g too. Cool. Not to mention the added years for security and Android.I never wrote a review before in my life, but this one deserves it.Thank you Nokia!

Ever since purchasing this Nokia 8.3 5G have really enjoyed it in the past 4 days while using T-mobile.The short comings that I notices are, location of the buttons like volume takes time to get use to, specially the Google assist button which I have disable it (via Google app). Battery seems as any other Phone battery that last the average amount of time. The IPS LCD screen quality is excellent. Pictures are also very sharp even in dark conditions, simply put the picture quality is superb. Streaming Netflix or Amazon movies is fast and in 4K quality. mirroring is simple and fast and the picture quality also on a 4K Sony TV displays as 4K.Speaker phone is loud and clear, however playing music is OK, its not the best I’ve heard. It sounds great while using headphone via 3.5 aux input as the sound quality is fantastic even with equalizer off.The things that could be improved are, location of volume and google assist buttons, selfie camera on corner of screen could be located to center, location of dial pad to make calls could also be centered instead on right corner, add additional speaker on top corner of the phone for music and games, and more ring tones.Over all I like the phone and have no regrets.11/09/20I used an app called Accubattery to check the battery capacity and after full charge true capacity showed at 4,897 mAh. See the pictures.

Things I LIKE about this phone:Fast 8-core processor, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, microSD card expansion slot, 2-day run time, quick charging (18w), decent GPU, sexy glass back, large screen, 3.5mm headphone jack, thumb fingerprint reader is fast, Android One means 2 years of upgrades and 3 years of security updates, 64MP main camera (with optical image stabilization and dual LED flash), 12MP selfie camera, Bluetooth 5.0, oh yeah, and 5G supportThings I WISH it had:Wireless charging, USB 3.x speed for its USB-C port. (It’s only USB 2.0), OLED screen (It’s an IPS LCD which is still really good.)Other thoughts:I’ve noticed the 5G icon at the top of my phone from time to time, but honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever actually tried to download something or made a call while in 5G mode. It’s nice to know that my phone is basically set for the next 3 or 4 years. Seems to work great on T-Mobile’s network.Default Visual Voicemail built into Android doesn’t appear to work with my carrier, though. No big deal, though. I rarely use voicemail.

I was sceptical, but now I am convinced NOKIA is back with a great product. To me the 8.3 is not too large and not too small just right, charges fast, battery lasts all day with heavy use and two days with light use. Bright clear screen and the camera is in a class of it’s own

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I am an old time Nokia fan. The last phone I bought was a Nokia 7.2. That is a great phone. This phone starts with the 7.2 ended and is outstanding. If you have Verizon or spectrum, or any other provider that uses Verizon’s Network do not buy this phone. I can’t say it any plainer. Beyond that have had an excellent experience to date. The only issues that you’re going to run into or actually with Android One. It’s getting better compared to my 7.2 when I got it. If you complain to Android they tell you to call the builder. But then if you complain about anything to do with Android they refer you to forums they are worthless as far as any kind of support. This phone has an incredible camera. The responsiveness of the unit is extraordinary. Everything seems to be so much faster. The combination of an eight core processor and twice as much memory as a 7.2 really gives it room to flex its muscle. The screen is beautiful. Battery life on this unit with fairly heavy video use is about a day and a half. That by today’s standard is incredible. I don’t use the face recognition. So I can’t comment on that. This phone is fairly heavy indicating the build quality. The fact that you have gorilla Glass shouldn’t inhibit you from getting something to protect the phone. Personally I use wallet cases all the time. They’re a little cumbersome in the pocket but my phone’s all look like new. And yes I do drop phones from time to time but not very often. I recommend this phone for anyone who prefers an unlocked phone. The price is more than right for this phone it’s an actual Big Time bargain. To give you an idea of Verizon sells a variant of this phone that is compatible with their Network, but be prepared to pay over $800 for it. There are major hardware differences in the cellular portion of that phone compared to this one. This phone is not compatible with Verizon’s frequencies hence the proprietary version that they sell. Zeiss lenses are some of the best lenses you can put in a camera or medical devices just to name a few areas that Zeiss is involved. They actually have a cinematic mode written by Zeiss or commissioned by his Zeiss that does one hell of a job on video. As I said I really enjoy the phone.I added a video of the tropical storm/hurricane that went up the coast of Florida, this is in Cinematic mode. The picturu of the China pattern is in macro mode, the beer stein is with flash. I hope this helps you make an informed decision.Free tip of the day! When using a backscreen, such as a phone or camera do extend your arm. Keep the camera close. Fewer blurry pictures! Especially in low light!

Beautiful device works great supper responsive really nice display and everything works supper fast, the security updates and guaranteed 2 OS updates are great I couldn’t find that on any other device. The assistant button is a little annoying but you can deactivate if you don’t use, can’t remap which is a bummer. Over all love the device

  10. ShadowMario3

Was looking for a new phone to use as my main after I started having issues with my Nokia 7.1’s power button, and so far, this phone has been great for the month that I have had it! Had no issues with moving my AT&T sim to it, as it started working right away with their LTE network (I haven’t upgraded to 5G speed), and wi-fi works as expected with 5 GHz. At first, I wasn’t sure about the fingerprint reader being the power button, but it works seamlessly. 8 GB of ram really feels like a breath of fresh air as well, seeing that switching between apps causes no slowdowns at all. I received the Android 11 update a week ago, and features such as Screen Recording work with no issues at all.
