I got the 27inch one and while I wouldn’t really suggest it as a main monitor unless you are ok with 1080p, I’ve been pretty happy with it. I airplay into via my laptop for work & stream videos on from my phone most of the day. I also tested it’s standalone apps by plugging in a mouse & keyboard and logging into office 365. This worked well enough as a way to get work done, pull up a document, or displaying pictures/videos from onedrive but navigating was a little laggy and I wouldn’t want to rely on this on a daily basis. The smart TV features and having it’s own remote & speakers make this one quite a bit better than just a regular dumb monitor. It’s a great option if you are looking for a single screen that can multitask or an extra one for leaving on a kitchen/dining room table to do occasional work on and stream tv/youtube though. It could also easily do the work of a small TV. Pretty good buy and I might end up getting the 4k one as a primary monitor in the future.

This is “THE ONE”…this is a “GREAT MONITOR”…bought the UJ59…first…then only to start thinking about going back to speakers….then I saw this guy….I don’t have the time to list the features…just try IT….and get the coverage for four years…It’s on sale now….MSRP..$400.00…..sale….$330….REMEMBER….BUILT-IN SPEAKERS….ONE ISSUE FOR ME…TO OPEN THE REMOTE…THE MOST CHALLENGING….KEEP IN MIND….

This monitor is great for me as a college student. It fits great on my desk and it is huge. It connects easily to my laptop (Surface Pro 7 via USB-C connection) and it has made my daily homework and research so much more bearable. The picture quality is perfect for the price (it’s definitely not high end or anything, but it is as crisp as I ever need to read a document with!) and my Switch being about to connect and sit on my desk is a really nice feature for me! The remote is easy to use and the features all seem to work as advertised! It truly is the “do it all” monitor I need!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I am now using this Monitor as my main TV!!! Samsung hit it out of the park with this one!!!

I was not looking forward to a great tv/monitor combo due to all the review that keep saying it is dark or not bright enough. I am here to report that this is actually brighter than 3 of my other monitors and the brands that I’ve experienced over the year (DELL, HP, Acer, LG). If you think yours is not bright enough1. Change mode to dynamic instead of standard2. disable auto brightness (ambient sensor)3. Use a color setting to your preference (mine is cold)4. Max the brightness (50)Now that out of the way, It is still not a dedicated monitor. It is not as crisp as any of my other monitors. But it is good enough. I code on this about 4-6 hours a day now. It works without killing my eyes. I have seen some of the cheaper monitors that do a worse job really. So yea, it is not excellent but it is pretty good for the price and for being a hybrid. As a TV, it is as good a TV as you’d expect from Samsung (not my most favorite). It still comes with that smart remote with exact same functionality (which I always believed to be too limited but many love it). Exact same apps/hub experience. Speaker is good enough. Supports bluetooth devices. Comes with more gimmicks (not all great, DEX is terrible and I have no idea why it exists). With all of that, things you may hate or love, it is a great hybrid device. One of a kind. And it works. I could nto expect anything better (especially after all the other negative reviews). Well executed SAMSUNG.

As a Product Director, I am a victim of too many browsers and too many tabs open at one time. It is not unusual for me to be working across multiple Chrome, Firefox, and Safari browsers at the same time. For my needs, working on my laptop is inefficient and annoying.I have always thought that since I am not a hardcore gamer and not a high-end graphic designer investing in a monitor wasn’t worth it. I was wrong. In fact, a few days after working on the Samsung M7 monitor, I purchased a second one. My efficiency at work has seen a major improvement. In addition, having the space to have multiple windows open has been a big help on my eyes.If you own a Samsung TV, you will be pretty familiar with the layout and the settings options. The 4K picture quality on the monitor is stunning. Obviously, it works well when you are using the apps (Netflix, HBOMax, Hulu, etc.) and watching TV, but it also a noticeable difference when using work applications.I was also fairly impressed with the sound quality running through the monitor. It is not as great as if you were running high-quality external speakers, but it provides a nice full sound not typically found on a monitor.Just like Samsung’s TV the selection of apps available are good and easy to set up. This allows the monitor to double as a TV (when you’re not working of course). There were a few minor issues that I have experienced with the monitor, but none of them are blockers. The first is that when I was setting up both monitors, no matter what I did, it would not recognize and complete the Bixby voice recognition. I had to go back later to complete that setup. The DEX integration was a little clunky for me, but to be fair, I have never utilized DEX by Samsung, and so it may have been more user error than system error. The last thing that can get a little funky is daisy-chaining the monitors (which may not be a typical use case), but since there is a remote control to operate the monitor, it can be challenging to set one separate from the other, but I am sure with a little research, I can figure that one out.Overall these monitors are absolutely amazing. I have recommended them to all of my co-workers and my wife also wants one too (she is trying to steal my 2nd one). The price of these monitors is also amazing. I did a bunch of research, and feel confident that you won’t find anything else out there with the features and specs of this monitor anywhere close to the price. Love this monitor!

I purchased this solely for my Travel Trailer. I prefer my Fire TV Stick menus, so I did not setup the Smart TV Features. I did, however, use the menus to adjust the Sound Normalization and Lightened up the Shadows by +1. Overall, the picture is superb–very crisp and great colors. The monitor’s speakers work great–no booming bass, but there is an equalizer setting if desired. The range of loudness is great, and there is a “amplified” setting if you need more volume..This my be a little pricey for a 32-Inch TV, but considering the picture quality, remote features, and setting versatility, it was a great purchase..NOTE: The included Samsung remote works almost ALL features on the Amazon Fire Stick–without changing any settings. When the Fire Stick is inserted into HDMI 1, it is automatically recognized and I am able to use the Samsung remote to control menus, select videos and apps, Pause, Resume, FF, go-back, etc. The only Feature that is NOT available is the 3-Line Menu item for removing listings from Recent Selections. What a Bonus!

A lot of reviews mention the low brightness, but I think those people didn’t look at all of the settings. There are brightness settings, and then there are settings in regard to the ECO Mode which also affects brightness. If you turn off ECO Mode and put the brightness at max, it’s plenty bright. Picture quality is nice too and there are a lot of options for adjusting the color, sharpness, etc. The sound is also very nice and balanced, heck you even get a straight up equalizer so you have a lot of room to adjust the sound. I also really like the stand and the way it sits on my shelf. The stand is small but hefty (it’s made of metal) so it doesn’t take up much space but the monitor feels extremely sturdy when you set it down. There is also plenty of room between the bottom of the screen and the surface it’s on (it’s about 3.5 inches) so there’s plenty of room for a console to slide underneath the monitor. I’ve been really liking it so far, and at $250 it seems extremely worth it.

My workflows require multiple monitors. This Samsung monitor really helps out as an M1 MAC owner. I have a mac mini and an air. I am able to use the Airplay 2 feature to hot-swap between machines. With the MAC Mini, I already have two monitors connected (49″ and 34″), but with the Samsung in the mix, I have three monitors. This really makes things go smoothly. When I am not using it as a monitor it has all the functionality of a TV tuner which is a bonus. The monitor is a bit dark out of the box, but I changed the setting to a different preset, and that was solved right away.NOTE: When you first connect this to the internet you will want to reset your modem and router. This will stop the problem with accessing the internet.

As a college student, I couldn’t decide on whether to buy a cheap tv or invest in a decent monitor for my dorm. This solved my problem by providing the perfect 2-in-1 display to allow me to seamlessly pair my macbook to fit a larger screen for editing, writing, and just general less eye strain when studying. While also providing the availability to use the remote to watch a movie/tv show. This is perfect for the inbetweener stage of life when you need a little of both. Samsung hit the nail on the head. Built in speakers, remote, reliable company, it’s all great. Highly recommend.
