I bought this tv for an exercise room and hoped the speaker volume would be enough to overcome the treadmill noise. Not only was it loud enough but the tv has a setting in the sound menu called Clear Voice that emphasizes voice over sounds. This makes it much easier to understand what people are saying while on the treadmill. It also has a setting called Auto Volume that automatically adjusts the volume to the same level on all channels. I am using the tv with a small roof top antenna and it gets all the stations from a 56 mile distance. I compared this tv’s channel reception to my more expensive Toshiba Regza 46XV645U and they were both the same, so my worries of a cheap tv having an inferior tuner were over. The base of the tv is not adjustable but was quite sturdy and level. The back has a 75mm by 75mm vesa mount so it could be mounted with something like this mount: Cheetah Mounts ALAMB Articulating Arm TV Wall Mount Bracket for VESA 100 12-24″ LCD LED Flat Screen Monitors Display/TVs up to 40lbs Includes Free 10′ HDMI Cable and 6″ Bubble Level I mounted this tv up high and used a feature in the picture menu called Samsung Magic Angle. This has settings to adjust the picture quality to compensate for the tv not being close to level line of sight. This brought the picture back to the same quality as if I were looking at it straight on. This feature could also be used if the tv were mounted real low. The quality, picture, and sound of this tv were above my expectations for a tv at this price. Update:After 1 year the tv is still going strong with no issues. I am very happy with this purchase.

This is a fantastic 19″ TV. I don’t think the picture quality could be all that better at 19″.I am reviewing this for use in a travel trailer off a 12 volt battery. As far as I can tell, running this off the converter box that I plug into my DC outlet in the trailer, this thing is using very little power. Is is using power comparable to the radio, very little. Maybe a little more but not much. The other huge bonus is the built-in media player. You can load up videos on a USB drive and take them with you and play them from that. If you are familiar with that technology and how to load pretty much anything, it is a giant boon. The other great thing is it plugs directly into the “CD input” in the trailer radio system by way of male-to-male 3.5 mm audio jacks into the TV so to make up for the not so great sound in the TV (what do you expect from a TV that small), it puts the sound out through the built-in trailer speakers, which I like. Also had good channel detection and picked up all the major channels I get through the airwaves using a $20 Winegard (sic) wave antenna that you can just put in the trailer and is flexible.

So far so good!! I bought this tv to upgrade the one I had in my kitchen. I am not disappointed at all. It’s got very good picture quality, very good sound for the size. It was very easy to install, using a wall mount that I also purchased from Amazon. I would recommend this tv to my friends and family.

I can’t say enough good things about this tv. I purchased it from the Amazon warehouse in like new condition (tv was new but the packaging was damaged) so I got a much lower price than I would’ve had I bought it new. This tv plays beautifully and I’ve received many compliments on it from guests. It is the perfect size for a kitchen under cabinet tv. I truly love it and if ever I have need for another tv I will purchase Samsung brand and try to find it through Amazon warehouse. One of my favorite features is the option to set the sound to amplify because when I’m cooking and cleaning in the kitchen it’s sometimes hard to hear normal volume settings but with the amplify setting I can hear perfectly clear over my mixer even.

Wanted a replacement for a 25 year old 13″ kitchen color TV. Needed a small footprint so it would fit on a 12-inch turntable as it sits on a peninsula in our kitchen. Found few newer TVs that were small enough, but none but this one with a small footprint (it’s pedestal type base). Also could not use a swiveling wall mount bracket due to cabinet placement in our kitchen. This Samsung UN19F4000 19-Inch LED TV proved to be a perfect choice. Fits. Has a great picture. Great color rendition, Very good sound. And has (2) HDMI inputs so we can easily switch between a Tivo Mini and an Apple TV, Also has Composite inputs, and old fashioned coax input jack. Very, very pleased!

Just got this today. The sound on this TV is passable but is sound is typical for this size of TV. So I connected it to cheap PC speakers and the sound is much better.I had a Vizio but it would not work with PC speakers. I called Vizio support and he said their amplifier does not work with PC speakers. Why would I keep a TV with bad sound when I can just connect PC speakers to make great sound? So I returned the TV and bought this one.The picture is also great. I have it set to Dynamic picture.****************UPDATE: Now it is Dec. 29 of 2016 and the TV is still working great, though I do not use all the ports, so I can only tell you about the main TV system. Love it.****************UPDATE: Now it is April 2018 and the TV is still working great. I use it probably every day. It has a more powerful receiver than my 36 inch RCA, which means that while using an antenna, I get a picture on this one when I don’t get one on the other TV. This has turned out to be one of the best electronic purchases I have made. Love the TV.

I purchased the 24” version and below are comments I made. I also purchased the 19” TV and the comments also apply to this versionIf you’re using this TV with cable or satellite, then most decent TV’s will do. But I gave up cable and installed an antenna in the attic to receive over-the-air signals. Here is where the TV’s tuner is important. This TV is has an excellent tuner and a high quality (720p) display. It displays information on what is being broadcast. It has a HDMI port (convertible to DVI with a converter cable), an HDMI input port, and a USB input port to view video files. However this TV (unlike the 24” version), does **not** have a digital (optical) audio output port. It does, however, have composite and component video/sound input for older systems. It also has a headphone output jack.I can’t imagine what I would expect in a TV. I think it’s excellent.

Perfect for my kitchen, storm cellar and camper. Very light weight and cute. Great picture and good sound (has jacks for speakers for picky people). I’ll get a case for it for use in the camper.

Purchased this as a kitchen TV – wanted it to be on the smaller side. My husband convinced me to go with the Samsung even though it was a little more expensive than the non-name brand competitors. Glad we went with this one. It was very easy to set up. We hooked it up to an inexpensive, small antenna and it gathered all the channels in our local area and has a great picture! The sound quality is fine for my use. A fairly recent reviewer mentioned it having a large border and small picture and gave the TV a poor review. And yes, the TV we received is not the one pictured on Amazon with the tiny border. The border on ours is about 1/2″, with a 1″ large border on the bottom section. The picture screen is 18.5″ diagonally. The border size does not bother me and does not detract from it having a great picture and fitting into the space where I wanted it to go ~ Looking forward to not missing parts of football games when fixing a snack/cooking a meal 🙂

This is quite a nice TV. It replaces my trusty Sony stereo 13″. My monthly electric bill has gone down by $35 due to this replacement. It was a good move and this is a truly beautiful picture with nice stereo sound. I have cable TV and the 720P works great. 1080P might be nicer on paper, but with TVs of this size there would probably be little improvement. Sports will be fine with at 60HZ. March madness was beautiful.I have read reports of unsteady stands. You just have to tighten the screws down until they won’t turn any more. Pretend that they are self tapping screws and everything will be fine. I would buy another one and if I get to the place where a larger TV would be needed I will buy another Samsung.
