This Webcam is great quality. The HD image quality is very clear and smooth. Auto-focus works well as expected and as soon as the camera is in use, it properly focuses on my face and even clearly displays any other objects in view. Top recommended item!

This camera has a narrow 60 degree angle of view. This is the best for reducing “barrel” effects that plague most webcams. Angle of views that exceed 80 degrees will result in straight lines near the edge of the scene to appear curved. Many webcam reviews complain about this, but it is not a fault in their cameras. It is simply that they are using cams with up to 120 degree angles of view.This is not too bad a problem until you take into account the effect that this has on your face. Noses appear oversized compared to the rest of the face. Eyes can appear larger than necessary. Also, the lower face and jaw line appears wider than it should. Moving closer to the camera results in enough facial distortion that it becomes a caricature or clown like appearance.I know that the narrower views require you to stay in the frame and restricts some of your movements, but when you are on a video conference or call, you don’t need to be moving that much anyway.I searched many cameras and finally found this one. I plan to purchase a couple more.

I own several Wansview security cameras for my house so I was glad to give their webcam a shot. It does appear we’re going to be using these for the foreseeable future. First of all it was smaller than I expected when I saw the box, but that’s ok, it clamped to the top of my monitor and stayed put just fine. Picture quality is good, auto-focus works great, and it actually was plug-and-play…I didn’t have to do anything other than connect it to my computer. Windows installed it and it’s worked with Zoom and other video applications without any problem. The privacy cover is packaged separately in the box and consists of two pieces, the cover, and the base it slides in. That sticks to the camera with peel off tape, and it was a little frustrating for my fat fingers but I finally managed it. I assume that makes it optional as to whether you want or need a privacy cover, but very nice to have. Overall, good product, I highly recommend!

I’ve been using Wansview camera since working from home last year. I needed another one for one of my old desktop computer that I occasionally need it for a Zoom meeting. This product is better than the one I purchased last time on a few things:1. It automatically focuses depending on my distance from the camera so the image is always clear.2. It can stand stably in any surface if you don’t want to clip on top of a monitor.3. It can turn left or right (in addition to turning up or down) this is very helpful when I have anyone walking by while I am on the camera. See the last picture.4. A little blocker that can block the lens off in case you need it.As always the image is crystal clear on the screen. Microphone is perfect, I always ask people in the meeting if they could hear me well, the answer is always it’s great.Affordable price for a great product!

I bought this web cam to improve the audio from my daughter’s laptop, there’s something going on with it and sometimes people can’t hear her. She does a lot of zoom and google meets calls. I also use it as well when I want to be able to show documents to people, all I have to do is swivel the camera and show my document. I took some pictures comparing my MacBook pro camera and the Wansview camera. The quality is really impressive and I can easily move it to another device such as my son’s Xbox. The design is pretty slim and stays put on the top of my computer. We have an older computer that does not have audio or video so I’ll be placing it there for now.

As you can see in the photos attached, the Wansview camera has greater clarity, and detail, the autofocus works well and consistently finds the subject, rather than just having one blanket field of view. Hard to tell from these picture uploads but the size of the image captured is much larger as well due to the higher resolution. Since we live on video calls these days, its definitely a worthy upgrade… plus, if you’re worried about people hacking your camera. It comes with a handy lens cover for privacy.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. A solid camera. I didn’t bother reading the instructions, I plugged it in, and it worked. I have a few Wansview surveillance cameras and they were great, so I figured I’d try their Webcam. It works really well for Zoom calls, and I’m gonna try it for a facecam with gaming. For some reason it looks really large in the photos, the camera is about 1/4 of a dollar bill in size. I included a video review with some more info. Auto-Focus is nice and they included a lens cover, so you don’t have to worry about privacy.

This is my first non-Logitec webcam and I am quite pleased with the purchase. All I wanted was something simple without paying for unnecessary bells and whistles, and this was a great fit. Just plug in the USB cord, opened a cam app, and that’s all there is to it!This model does have autofocus which works quite well. Video quality when I used this cam remained sharp and in focus even as I moved within the frame. For purpose of web meetings, I am more than satisfied with the video on my 24″ monitor. The built-in microphone does its job too, as I’ve had no sound quality complaints from meeting participants when this cam was used.Though you can screw on a tripod, I have my cam positioned on top of my monitor where I am able to turn the camera to any angle and it stays put well. The only thing I don’t care for on this webcam is the self-adhesive, sliding lens cover that looks like a cheap afterthought. So, I didn’t bother attaching it.

I just purchased the 2021 Wansview 1080P USB PD WebCam to replace my Logitech HD Pro C910 WebCam. Since the beginning of the pandemic a year ago, I’ve done many many video meetings and conference calls using zoom and google Meet…so I consider myself sort of a virtual meeting expert. I’ve had a chance to use the new Wansview 1080P USB PD WebCam on a couple of video calls and it was excellent. Compared to the Logitech HD Pro C910, the Wansview WebCam video was clearly and had better clarity than the Logitech WebCam. The Auto focus on the Wansview was also better and quicker than the Logitech. The built in microphone sound quality of the Wansview also seemed better than the Logitech. Lastly, the price of the Wansview was very reasonable compared to the Logitech. Based on my experience, I highly recommend the 2021 Wansview 1080P USB PD WebCam based on video quality, audio microphone quality and cost.

I am greatly impressed by this little camera! It improves both Zoom and Google Meets video quality for me in my dark home office. I previously purchased a ring light, a three-bulb floor lamp and upgraded a ceiling light all in an attempt to improve my video. I wish I had started here! This works better than all of those put together. The video camera works very well and the audio is good too. It is easy to install, just plug in the USB connector and you’re good to go. It is quite versatile and can be put on your monitor or left on your desk, and even has a connector for a tripod.If I needed another for myself or someone else I would definitely get this one.
