Extremely well made product that an audiophile would be expect from B&O. The sound this produces is amazingly loud from such a small Bluetooth speaker. You must download the app however to control the sound correctly (there are various settings such as for speaking, concerts, etc.). The app needs improvement but it is better than most other speaker apps. Although this is supposedly 360-degree, it is very obvious that when you turn it towards one side that the bass is louder on the other side, the same with treble, etc. The wireless charger on top is cool—but chews up battery time. The only peculiar thing is that I wish it would visually notify me when the battery is running low because the volume will just begin to subtly drop without a visual warning. I always double check if the volume was turned down by accident—only to realize later that the battery is low and it is automatically lowering the volume to preserve battery life.

I received my unit. Charged it, downloaded the app paired the unit. Impressive. the sound is very pleasurable a soft beautiful sound very typical of B&O products. One of the speakers had a slight hum from the beginning. I thought his could have to do with it being so cold out and its shipping journey. So, I returned it to my local UPS store as per Amazon instructions. UPS accepted the package and shipped it out for me.I did receive a tracking number and receipt and the product shows to be delivered and returned. I then receive a email notice from Amazon Buyer/Return division. From an Account Specialist. With this to say to me…. We cannot issue a refund for this order until we receive the correct item. Please return it to us if you want to receive the refund.I returned the email asking for an Account Specialist to call me. I was inform Via email Amazon is not set up to handle direct phone calls. 2020 (really) why Amazon has no problem wasting peoples’s time like this the most valuable resource in the world is beyond my understanding. But it definitely benefits. Them and not US.Has this happened to anyone else. My question is. Has Amazon ever told you in a nice way by email they think you are confused and they are not willing to return your money after you send a product back? If so please enlighten me in the comment section on your particular issue. I’m a bit peeved @ the moment. This seems to be a wide spread issue with them.If it has please comment below and let me know

I have to admit, I like buying and testing all different brands and types of speakers. I’ve always admired the B&O brand – so I decided to splurge on the Beolit 20. In terms of sound, the speaker does put out beautifully balanced sound, especially from such a “small” size. It’s plenty loud for a bluetooth, portable speaker. The battery life seems to be consistent with other size speakers. I especially like the Qi charging – which I thought was a nice design feature.Yes, the price is higher than other brands, but it’s a B&O….it looks great and sounds very good. I’m giving them a 5 star review. Well done!

oh my… where do I begin? I’ve been using my Harmon Kardon speakers and thought they were good the whole time. boy was I wrong. after using the beolit 20 side by side with HK, the difference is night and day. even though this costs 3x more, it’s money well spent as it is timeless and practical. the sounds are rich with base and music sounding dimensional. so happy! though I wish the battery life was better and with the newer Bluetooth technology.

I tried quite a few Bluetooth speakers, but this one kept my money!Not a boom box, but a quality speaker that doesn’t distort when turned up.Battery life isn’t great, but I’m ok with it . It’s enough!Most important to me was the audio quality, which is excellent.

Bang olufsen never disappoints. I have 2 b&o speakers, and 2 headsets. Supreme design, finish and sound, of course. This speaker is low end product of b&o, but the quality is not compromised.The beolit is designed to be moved around, so if you do not need this function, you can get m5 with similar price and even better sound.

Update-I need to take a star off for battery life. Let’s be real, if you play this at 75% volume, which isn’t that loud, the battery life is below three hours. That’s pathetic for this price. I love the sound as stated, but seriously, the battery life needs to be improved. Not to mention, if you charge your phone at the same time, it’s even lessBang and Olufsen has out done themselves again. The sound quality is absolutely insane, especially how deep the lows can get. I played it in a basketball gym the other day and not only was it room filling for its size but the bass reminded me of being at a concert. The frequency response is outstanding across the spectrum. Yes, the speaker is crazy expensive, but well worth it. It doesn’t distort at high volumes and holds a great battery life. It sounds like a full sound system at times.

I wanted a high quality speaker so that I could listen to music as well as ebooks. I had tried a number of fairly cheap products in the past and was not too happy with the quality of sound. One thing I can say about this B&O speaker is that it sounds amazing. I was particularly Impressed with the B&O app that you can link to the speaker and which allows you to change the sound depending on what you are listening to – for example there is an audio performance feature for spoken word, a party feature for upbeat sounds, and an ambient feature for those chill tracks (and more). Another impressive feature of this speaker is that you can charge your iPhone on it in a wireless way. In addition to this, it is very slick and portable. I love that if someone calls my cell phone and my phone is connected to the speaker, its intelligent enough to know that its a call, and so does not create issues with the sound on the call. I’ve only had it for a month, but on the basis of that I highly recommend.

I just received it today I can’t really say much about longevity.I own 4 other Beoplay products all flawless operation and sound. I may purchase anther so I can pair them in stereo. The full sound spectrum is there needs nothing. If I had one suggestion it would be put th cord back in the unit very convenient.Update 2/21,2021. First use of the cell charger top with the Apple 12 mini. Top notch and shows you its charging then the light turns green to announce completion of charge. Very fast! Amazing you can use this with no effort. Lay he mini on top! Doesn’t get any easier or better than that.
