I have the D9 and love it. I love my D9 so much, it was hard to resist the D9-1. I like the green accents on my D9-1! They make the speaker look a little funkier and sportier compared to my D9. Get the plain D9-1 if you prefer a classier, more dignified look. The most important feature is the sound, of course. If you’ve heard the D9, you know what to expect from the D9-1. To my ears they sound identical, in other words, AWESOME!

I can be quite a few rooms away and my Bluetooth still stays connected. And I can hear the speakers throughout my whole house. Has great volume and good sound quality. I definitely feel I got what I paid for

I’ve had this speaker for almost a week. Works as advertised loud enough to annoy neighbors at full volume. I use it indoor and outdoor. Size is not too big so easily portable. Maybe not for backpacks but perfect for the lanai or yard when I’m working,don’t have to worry when rain showers or mists appear which is common where I live. So far so good.

I was going to consider the D8 until I saw someone in a video talk about the D9 and that it is even louder than the D8. I can attest to that… it definitely punches above it’s price point; I’m not saying that it is on the same level as a JBL Xtreme 3, but the JBL Xtreme 3 isn’t $200+ better either. The D9 is loud and has plenty of bass, which I definitely wanted to have. It doesn’t have an app, which would have been wonderful (hope they come out with one at some point), but it does have an option to switch between 3 default sound profiles and there is a way to manually update the software (updating software would be the biggest thing I’d want… I can always use a 3rd party equalizer should the need arise). Super happy that I bought this!

I bought this speaker because it says it pairs together with my other speaker. It does not pair with the D9. On that note customer service got in touch with me and got me a new speaker that does pair together. They were very quick and thoural. Very good and loud speaker. Best blue tooth speaker I have found
