I didn’t read the reviews before I purchased this camera and as it turns out I am so very happy that I didn’t because the camera that I got works awesome and IS a genuine Canon camera. How do I know that it’s a genuine Canon camera? Because I was able to go on the My Canon website and register my camera with absolutely no problem. I was also able to register the lens that came with it. I admit that for a split second after reading the reviews that I was nervous and a little upset that I may have purchased a counterfeit product but I contacted Canon and they told me to try to register it and if it was truly a counterfeit that I wouldn’t be able to register it. Anyway, I received everything that was advertised and it all came in pretty quickly and all in perfect brand new condition and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I have been using it for my jewelry business to take pictures and it works GREAT! I couldn’t have hoped for more. I would personally recommend this Camera to friends and family.
