This speaker had mostly good reviews, but I also read the negative ones. With so many choices of off-brand speakers, I’m very skeptical, especially about the size and sound quality, so I read all the reviews. The size was difficult to tell from the pics on Amazon since the speaker appears larger, and the details show the “package” size…not the speaker size. In the Q&A section, I saw the actual dimensions of 13.4 x7.3×3.9 inches 4.15 lbs, which was helpful and appears to be accurate. Also, I watched the video on Amazon about the product that also provides a better view of the size, and I’ve included a couple pics from that video for reference with this review. The speaker is bigger than the Beats Pill we have, but smaller than a karaoke type roller unit, which I also considered buying for a big sound. It’s not convenient for a backpack (although could easily fit into one), but good to carry in a suitcase for trips. The design is rather boring, but I care more about the sound and function, and I love that it has a handle so my kids “shouldn’t” drop it. I’m no audiophile, but to me, the sound was a lot better than I expected, especially since the Pill was over $200 when we bought it a couple of years ago, and this speaker at a net cost of $50 (Amazon giving $20 instant coupon), is louder with more bass than the Pill. The Pill is marginally clearer and half the size, but this one provides much bigger and fuller sound outside by the pool. It’s still a smallish speaker, so volume and base are not going to rattle the drinks off the table or blow your hair back, but it is exactly what I was looking for. I’m buying another to link together to put on both sides of the pool. I just got it last night, so I don’t know about battery life yet. Out of the box, I was able to connect to bluetooth and play immediately…easy. There is a rubber cube connected to seal the input ports and keep it IPX7 water-tight, but I haven’t tested that either. I just need it splash proof around the pool and my kids have already used it next to the shower (slightly wet), so it looks like it’ll be great for that. With so many options out there, it’s hard to choose, but I feel I got a great deal, and this Dbsoars speaker should be great for our needs. I won’t buy another expensive, name-brand speaker. First of all this item was delivered within 24 hours and I don’t even have prime. The quality of the unit is rugged and seems durable with rubber and hard plastics all around. The weight of the speaker is spot on and feels like they didn’t skimp out on quality internals. Upon receipt be prepared to be wowed by the amount of crisp clear sounds this thing emits not only clear but super loud when at full volume. The unit won’t clip out or sound distorted when at full volume so no worries about damaging the unit. The phone charging capabilities was a huge plus mainly because when I’m streaming it’s not discharging the phone battery it’s actually the opposite! When I’m done playing music my phone is fully charged. I have played music at about 50% volume for a couple hours and was surprised at how little the battery discharged in that time. Connecting my phone to the speaker was super easy and effortless to say the least. One small perk is that you can tilt the speaker on one of the beveled edges to point the speaker to where you really want it. I recommend this speaker over similar higher ticket units because it hits all key points easily! Enjoy!

I almost never write any kind of reviews but i was blown away by the sound quality, perfect level of bass and volume,so loud and crisp and clear, excellent quality i love it that it has type c charger i will definitely order another one to pair them both i used to own couple aoamais go speakers and they were very good quality i think it’s same company as it has same Bluetooth name but they’re upgraded better versions, don’t hesitate to buy it, you won’t regret it.

Just arrived. I purchased this box for outdoor use so I could listen to my Audible books and my Spotify music lists. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much out of this item but got more than I bargained for. It arrived on time in good shape. The charging method was obvious and took a few seconds to hook up. Bluetooth linkup was cake but if you prefer a cord it has a receptacle and comes with a cord. One quick read through the short directions and I was operational with no glitches. My imac picked up the bluetooth device immediately. I used this outdoors for about 4 hours with a bluetooth connection to my computer 30 feet away indoors. There was no problem.This little black box sounded real good considering the size and cost. The build is sturdy and solid. I’m not about to test the underwater survival since listening to music under water is not high on my list. Clean, clear detailed sound, deep powerful bass, premium feel. Good weight and size. Easy Bluetooth pairing, and also works as a microphone amp, plugged my mic in the aux port. I also have the W-King D8, Doss XL and others, and this DBSoars holds it’s own against the powerful, class leaders. Just as loud, maybe louder and equivalent bass. Very impressive for a relatively small light speaker. Fills a room with sound easily, loud enough for outdoor use. It’s an updated Aomais Go, which was already a top speaker, with the addition of two tweeters and more watts. Feels very sturdy. Arrived 90% charged, with aux and charge cable. This is one of the best speakers on the market, especially at this price. I will probably get another one for stereo pairing, not that it’s necessary, one will do the job. One of the best speakers out there for Bass, it makes low frequencies cleanly and no distortion. Overall bright crystal clear sound, good stereo separation. The rubberized case has a very nice look and feel. Could use a logo in the front, or some color accent to spice things up, but it’s a handsome design, and carry handle is a plus. Buy this now and be happy. Oh yeah it’s waterproof and floats, though I haven’t tried it there are videos of folks chucking it in the pool and it still works. A good feature, but I wouldn’t recommend throwing any electronic device in water, to be on the safe side.

And honestly In less than 5 minutes of opening, powering on, connecting to my iPad/IPhone without looking at the instructions and testing the sound quality I’m blown away. I’d say it’s user friendly. Simple and concise with awesome audio for my needs. With all reviews it’s hit or miss with any purchase. I’m glad I took the chance and bought it just in time for planned outdoor events. So happy with my purchase. 👌🏼👍🏼🔥🔈❤️

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was very pleasantly surprised once I had a chance to let this speaker open up. In fact I haven’t even been able to test it all the way because I’m trying to be considerate of my neighbors. But the sound quality is solid and I haven’t had recharge it even once yet after two weeks of intermittent use.Apparently this speaker will pair with multiple speakers so you can get a really nice around effect, but I’m pretty happy with just one.

As with the first reviewer, I just received this speaker in the mail and overall am very impressed. It’s a nice, sturdy build. Good feel. And must importantly of all, the sound quality is fantastic and very loud. I plan on using this speaker as I build my house, so it’ll be in a loud dirty environment, and I think this will work great. I will definitely update this review if anything changes and after trying it out for awhile. But my initial review is very positive with no negatives.
