This is a fitness tracker. The screen is not large – I didn’t buy it for the large screen. The notifications that come through serve their purpose; I am not trying to respond to anything while I’m on a run or a swim.Saw on here that the menu is difficult to navigate. It is not. Double tap to return home. I have had no issues with the sync. It is software, though, I imagine some people experience bugs, but Fitbit will work through it.. have some faith, people. If you want the bells and whistles of a fancy watch, maybe don’t get the Luxe. If you want the tracking that Fitbit is good at in a sexy compact device, get the Luxe.I’ll update if things go to s**t.

First of all I’m a long time Fitbit user and along the way I have experienced a couple of models that were disappointing. This one gets the job done. I do a lot of timed long runs and the device is “Spot on” with tracking and getting up to date info during the run. I also use it for tracking elliptical, tennis and weight training activities. The meditation mode is nice and sleep feedback a plus. It might look like it’s designed for women but guys will be wise to get it. Oh, battery life is another plus.

During the pandemic I got used to sitting to much! I have never liked to wear watches but other reviewers said this was comfortable and low profile enough that they didn’t mind wearing it, I decided to give it a try and have found the same to be true. It looks great, I hardly know it is there because you wear it loose and it is so light. This has been a game changer for me! It’s gentle reminder to get up and move every hour, the personal encouragement to get a few more steps in, I’m already feeling better. It tracks sleep which is interesting, I’m learning how I might sleep better. There are a lot of things I do not understand yet about this since I’m not a very technical person, I do not understand what the special extras you can add on are all about or how to find out about them. Maybe I didn’t need this fancy model, but I love it and it is working great for me!!!!

So I needed to start building habits for a healthier lifestyle. Workout? No thanks. Eat healthy? Hard pass. Well, I’ve been using this Fitbit luxe (which looks nice on the wrist-not bulky) for about a week and a half and I’ve dedicated myself to logging food on the app, trying to get better sleep, and drinking water. Seeing a snapshot of my week and all the data was eye opening enough as to where my problem areas were. Gave me enough motivation so far to try at least two 5-10 minute workouts a day from the Fitbit mobile app in addition to at least getting to 10k steps. I’ll say that in itself is way more than I was doing before. So far I’m very pleased and am going to stick with it! The challenges are a fun motivator as well. Battery life is also impressive, charged it for 10 minutes after I got it while I was setting it up and went a full week before charging it again, still at that point was not even a fully drained battery. And it’s waterproof with a water lock setting so I don’t have to worry about taking it off for showers, dishes etc.

This watch does all I need it to do and it is accurate. I like to track my sleep and my Charge 2 no longer seemed to be correct. I know this one is correct in steps and sleep as I tracked it with another watch. lt fits in with the jewlery that I like to wear and is not like a cell phone on my wrist. You do have to scroll up to see all the info, but that is not a problem for me. I have no problem reading the screen and I wear glasses to correct my vision. I can scroll and read all my texts which is a great feature my Charge 2 didn’t have. I love that I can get Messenger and my Textra messages and my calls tell me who is calling and not just a number. I love, love the size of this watch and I got the gold which looks nice even with the cream plastic band. You can’t make calls or answer texts and some of the other health features ( BP, skin temp? oxygen, etc) of other watches, which didn’t interest me anyway as they are not always accurate. This gives my heart rate, activity, steps, several workouts and you can swim with it if you so choose. Love it!

As my MD is determining whether I need a pacemaker, I was looking for a watch to give me my heart rate. That’s the only thing I want. Problem is I don’t like a large watch face. Apple watches or prior Fitbits not my style. I’ve never been tempted to buy. Until I saw the Luxe. I wasn’t too thrilled with $160 incl tax, but decided to give it a try. ($27/mo. six mos. with A card helps.) I absolutely love it. I get my heart rate with a tap (I think will eventually give me oxygen level), plus it’s a super looking watch. I got the stainless with purple/pinkish band and might eventually get the gorjana Parker link bracelet available at Fitbit for $99. Couldn’t be happier.

Thus far, I am extremely pleased with my new Fitbit Luxe. Mine is the beautiful soft gold with the lunar white band. I researched so many smart watches/trackers that I became terribly confused. My husband and I even bought 2 lower-priced watches. My husband kept his, but it wasn’t the right one for me. I decided to go with the Fitbit Luxe because it had all that I needed, the size was perfect and it looked more like a lovely piece of jewelry as opposed to a clunky tracker. It was very easy to pair and much of it was already set up. The only things left to do were to input personal information and make any desired changes where necessary. The face is much smaller, but the variety of faces and the fact that the colors and print are so vivid make everything easy to see. However, some folks may have an issue with the smaller screen and should take that into consideration before purchasing the Luxe. I’m very pleased with the accuracy of the Luxe. And, as I said, everything seems to be working fine. I like the the emphasis placed on mind, as well as body and fitness. The 6-month Fitbit Premium is great, but I have to weigh the premium cost once it expires because it is a bit high.My previous smart watch was a Versa 2. I really liked it, but it ceased working after the warranty expired. I’ve had a couple other Fitbits and keep coming back to them. I’m hoping that the lifespan of the Luxe is better than the Versa 2.

I had a Fitbit Alta and the Luxe is an awesome upgrade from it! It’s sleek-looking, waterproof, and is accurate with information. I’ve only had it a few days, but so far so good! 3 days in and battery only went down to 68%. Very happy with this purchase!

I recently upgraded from Fitbit inspire 2 to the luxe and I love the bright display and the jewelry bracelet. I have an Apple Watch too and the reason I got Fitbit is to keep track of my steps without having to wear a bulky Apple Watch to work as I like to wear high end watches. I personally like that Fitbit is small and can even be worn with other watches or bracelets and look sleek. I also feel Fitbit is not as invasive as Apple when you want something that’s spot on at tracking without constant Apple distractions. That said, you have to know your preferences, if you want to really use the fit bit to read your messages and want the full watch feel, this is not it and I’d get another model/options. I find this one to be super accurate for sleep and tracking fitness. No issues with connectivity.

Pros:Bluetooth connected to Android (Moto G6) in no time, no problem after I “forgot” (deleted) another Bluetooth connection on the phone with other device. After first connection your phone would automatically install FitBit App from Goggle play Store or at least will load up the link with install button. Click install. Accurate heart rate monitor.I compared it with Omron wrist blood pressure monitor in calm state and after walking through the room. The Omron 7 and Fitbit Luxe shown exactly the same heart rate, measured on the same hand at the same time. I had to deflate Omrom first of course. Otherwise it would rush blood right away to Luxe bracelet, but in no more than 5 seconds after deflation Luxe shown exact the same heart rate volume.Heart rate monitoring software on your phone shows dynamics of heart rate during your activity pretty accurate. It’s included in free version. From start till you stop on Luxe your activity heart rate monitor will show how many minutes it took, how many calories burnt, what was your heart rate every minute (on graph) and what kind of activity you did. We never turned off Heart rate monitor, so it would keep tracking 24/7.There is GPS included in Luxe after we updated it to the latest software version. At least it was available on Aug 5, 2021. It happen during setting up of Luxe unit through your phone. You need to create your account though, which requires only valid email (the rest is up to you if you don’t want to put your real name) . GPS is as real as it can be. It will track and show your locations at Google like map on your phone and show also path and time of your travel.Pedometer counts close to true steps, but it more accurate when you swing your hand. If to compare to Garmin Vivofit -2, it’s close enough. There is many activities if you wish to select to add or remove on blacelet.Sleep tracking is pretty accurate (included in free version). One day it would show only 50 minutes of deep sleep and then you know why you couldn’t get up in the morning. And it would show 9 hours on weekend sleep and it would confirm why you feel good and rested.Battery life.it’s good enough. By the end of 5th day battery went from 99% to 24%. GPS was used only for 2 hours. Heart rate monitor and sleep tracking was always on. We turned off text notifications though. There were casual buzzes, when you achieved your goal or sit too much. There is Wake up timer.Cons:Alarms or any notification is a vibrating buzz, no sound.Charger connector is magnetic with two bare contacts sticking out. I hope they implemented short circuit prevention because when it will stick to metal it will short the power circuit for 100%. Power Cable is too short. Charging time is pretty fast if to connect to wall charger.Luxe came with small bracelet hooked up already. So when my wife buckled it on the top of her wrist and left it overnight she got a bad sore because of this buckle. Thanks God large size of bracelet was included. It solved the problem. The sore healed in couple of weeks , never had new one again.Pedometer only counts correctly if you swing your hand. When I counted steps and didn’t swing my hand, just kept it steady, staring at screen during walking it shows less steps than I counted. I counted 50, it shown 40. Then I was just sitting and swinging my hand for 30 times back and forth. So it shown 30 steps. When my wife took it to kickboxing class it shown 3000 steps more than Garmin Vivofit-2. Garmin doesn’t count swinging as steps. There is not enough Exercises in Luxe list. Well, there is no kickboxing at least. So obviously, one time it shows activity as Aerobic, another time it shows: swimming.Luxe Screen is bright enough to see in sunlight. We wear prescription glasses, so, small font is not too much trouble to read, otherwise it’s actually pretty small. Sometimes screen wakes up with two taps on the middle, sometimes require more tapping. There is restart option in Luxe settings. So if Bluetooth connection will be lost for some reason you can just slide down to the top menu and restart unit. So far it happened only once for a month. All in all :it’s a great toy for everyone who likes to monitor their health. There is calories log and UPC code scanner which will allow you to scan UPC code with your phone of your grocery, find it, analyze and show how many calories it contains. (free version also)Lunar White/Soft Gold color is absolutely beautiful. Construction is great except the buckle which as I mentioned before gave a sore. The bottom of unit is flat. There is No bump in the middle which could make a dig hole on your wrist. heart monitor light doesn’t burn your skin, bracelet doesn’t irritate skin also. It’s made for women hand and looks really great. So far no regrets. Premium software doesn’t suffocate with updates as other reviewers mentioned. The main thing I bought it for is Heart rate monitor accuracy. It’s very accurate.
