This speaker is awesome! Totally blows away every speaker in my house. Great bass -will shake you. Highs are clear accurate and balanced. I’ve not had it long enough to review battery life, but YouTube reviews have info there. I only need it to work while exercising or hooping. So 2-3 hours is great. It’s got decent size. Not light. You can’t throw it in a purse. But that’s not why I got it. I wanted the best portable sound under $200 and I think I’ve found it!

I do not state that this Harmon Kardon exceeded my expectations lightly. The sound coming out of this unit is amazing. It rivals the sound from my stereo system. It is not nearly as loud, but I did not buy it for loud music. It sounds great inside and out on the deck. You cannot go wrong with the Onyx 6. I chose this over the Onyx 4 for the frequency response. Both are good units. The Onyx 6 out performed the Onxy 4 in sound quality.

4/5 for sound quality. You’ll love this speaker if you’re a bass head. I gave it a 4/5 for sound because I like clarity a little more over bass but its still a really good speaker. Also, it gets one notch louder when plugged in, so if i have it at 67 on my s10+, plugged in will have it sound like its at 74 but its still set to 67. Battery life is alright, 8 hrs is kind of low but it’s manageable. My concern here is how long it takes to recharge the speaker; around 5 hours starting from 0% battery so i give it a 4/5 for battery life. For $150 this is amazing value for the money, so much so that I bought two. When I have them both paired, the music is a bit louder and its more room filling. If you have two, to pair all you need to do is press and hold the Bluetooth button on both for 5 seconds and then they’ll find each other. Overall, a great speaker, the deepest bass out of all the other speakers I own which include bose, google home max, harman kardon, klipsch.

So far so good! Bass is rich, deep, and resonating throughout a nicely enclosed space. It does wonders for me in my student apartment when I want to play some nice beats to exercise/workout to, cook a nice meal, or do my course assignments with some nice subtle beats in the background. For now its a recommended 10/10 unless issues arise of course.

WOW, i wasn’t exactly excited for my husband to spend $200 on a mother’s day gift, but this speaker is just amazing. it’s pretty to look at, loud … like very loud and i’m obsessed !

Great sound, bluetooth connected to my laptop & cell easily. Cute round design, definitely a nice change from traditonal square or rectangular box. I wish the speaker tells me how much juice left from a charge because it ran out on me while watching a movie. I also wish that the USB could be used to power up the speaker to simplify charging. But over all i would still highly recommend it comparing it to Bose and Sono speakers. I do have a sound lynk from Bose. It costed a bit more but the Onyx sounds much better at a lower price.

Great sound quality! It came with several types of cords depending on where in the world you are and what type of power source you need. A bit extra but a nice unexpected addition.I haven’t fully tested the non stop play battery life from fully charged to dead to see how well it holds up but I don’t think it was fully charged the one time the battery died on me.I purchased the carrying case as well. My only disappointment with the carrying case was the extra small pouch was so small it was difficult to fit the cord in the bag. Great find!

This speaker is AMAZING! Nice rich, crisp, and deep sound! I love it. I normally buy Bose. I compared the H/K to the Bose Sound link revolver plus and the H/K out performed it!

I’ve always been a fan of Harman and Kardon after I fell in love with the second Onyx. So I finally decided to buy my own and it did not disappoint! The Onyx Studio 6 is the best thing I have bought in a long time! Wanna piss off your neighbors in an apartment? This is PERFECT! LMAO The bass is deep and rich and if you turn it towards your neighbors wall it shakes. You don’t even have to turn it all the way up either! Victory is mine ❤️ Buy this speaker asap you will fall in love too!
