    This laptop replaced an HP Pavilion 17.3 laptop. 2002 model. It has been a workhorse, but I wanted to upgrade to a faster model.I have transferred all my files, and have had time to get to know this machine. I love it.Long battery live, fast charge, and fast start up. Surfing, playing videos, and downloads are fast, too.I also have a newer HP Pavilion desk top, with an AMD Ryzen 5 processor. It is fast.This HP laptop, with an i5 processor, is every bit as fast.I recommend this laptop to everyone, with the exception of extreme gamers.Great computer and a great price.

    Best choice I’ve made in years. 15.6 inch monitor, runs all software and runs fast. I play games on an Xbox so this is for “REAL” serious work. I’ve used it for my virtual doctors visits and visiting with friends online and the built-in cam and mic work GREAT. I like photography and it’s not slow when I edit my photos. It’s really a power house. No regrets.

    I use this product for work as a freelance writer, and prospective novelist. After being taken in by a laptop sold to me by some ignorgant salesperson at my local Best Buy (please note that in other areas, I have had exceptional help and service at different Best Buy locations), I knew that I had to do my own research on what laptops were out there and what I needed. This laptop arrived on time and packaged extremely well. Set up was a breeze and there was help, if I had needed it, through HP service installed in the laptop. I’ve been using it for several months now and I’m very satisfied with all aspects of this laptop and service through HP. I would recommend this laptop to anyone wanting to purchase it. I also recently recommended it to a friend of mine who is looking to purchase a reasonably priced laptop. I’d purchase it again myself.

    Set up was a breeze. Screen size and keyboard are great. The price was great. I’m glad it’s not a touchsceen. I had that feature on my last one and I would only recommend that if you really need it. Brushing hair or lint off the screen always messed things up. So far this laptop has been awesome and just what i needed.

    I placed an order and en empty box arrived. I reached out the Amazon and they were very short. Said to file a police report! Not sure why I would need to do that if that’s how it was delivered. After calling a couple times, they sent a replacement. Seems like a great computer. Nice screen quality

    My old laptop suddenly just really slowed down (not bad for being 11 years old!) But I needed a new one and quickly. After doing a lot of research, I decided on the processor, features, and efficiency. This computer actually exceeded my expectations! It was listed as New and that’s exactly how it came, new and unopened from the manufacturer. It’s not the newest model but it’s perfect for what I needed and in a hurry! 8GB, SSD, i5 processor (way better than my i3!) were what I absolutely needed. I was super excited when I opened it and there was a number pad on the right side of the keyboard! I’m not quite sure how to operate the touchscreen feature…I was under the impression that it was included but I could be wrong! Overall it arrived within 2 business days, and I’m very satisfied with it.

    I have been using this laptop for a few weeks now. It is fast. It has great battery life. I use it for school and work and it has everything I need. There is a “pressure spot” just below the keyboard that stalls my typing and causes my music to glitch when I turn the edge of my hand and put a little more pressure on it while typing. That does not have a significant impact and is just annoying. Overall I love this laptop!

    My laptop came with a note from HP saying that said they where out of stock of the I5 and upgraded me to….Processor AMD Ryzen 5 5500U with Radeon Graphics, 2100 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 12 Logical Processor(s)Seems odd they changed CPU on me, but overall I pretty happy as it does seem like an upgrade. Laptop otherwise is as-ordered and working well. Screen is good. Keyboard has a nice feel to the button click. Everything in windows 10 working very fast, specially compared to the one this is replacing. Came with some software bloat, but was easily removed.

    Nice laptop.Pros: lightweight and thin design. Decent amount of storage 256 GB but not huge. Solid state drive so computer boots up within seconds. 11th gen intel Core i5 processor. 8 GB Ram. 0 to 50% fast charge in about 45 minutes. 15.6 “ full HD display. Bluetooth capableCons:Does not have a lighted keyboard or DVD drive.Highly recommend for regular use, I.e browsing, streaming, music etc.
