Outstanding…. Best purchase made in years, the gaming performance is awesome, small, quiet… Just wow!!!

Great machine for the at home office. Barely takes up any space. I can have dozens of applications open for work with zero issues. The fan stays really quiet but can get noisy when gaming. Can handle 4K video fine but games have to be set to low settings to be playable. On medium settings only expect 20 to 30fps. Low settings averages 50 to 60. Wireless and Bluetooth works really well. Only complaint is that the power brick is as large as the computer itself but I’m not sure anything could be done about that.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I came for the RTX 2060 discrete graphics card. This set of machines are really worth it! Only an RTX2060 card can cost you over $1,000. csgo, warzone, pubg, Dota2 and gta5 are all running smoothly, and the host temperature and running sound are all well controlled. Before purchasing, I checked De*ll and App*le as well, but eventually chose this Intel Phantom Canyon mini computer by comparing all of them. It has the highest configuration at the same price. Great performance for the money. Computer is solid build and configures the 11th generation i7-1165G7 CPU. On top of that, it uses discrete graphics memory, with both 4k hdmi and mini DP dual interface which is awesome because you have whichever interface you need. You can also adjust the LED lights colors and brightness or completely turn it off any time you want. All these great setups and such makes it very comparable to the Alienw*are serial. After using for a week, it was turned on 24 hours the day before yesterday, the performance was stable and smooth, and the whole process was amazing. It is undoubtedly verified by Intel and comes with a three-year warranty. I verified by calling the official Intel phone, they were very professional.Overall, it’s a great computer, highly recommended!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Way more than I needed and faster than I thought I could have as a PC. I am a MAC girl and yet, have to use a PC for construction and arch design work on propriety software that only operates on PC. Thought I would never be able to do anything quickly on any PC box. WRONG. This little baby beast is exactly the fix with PLENTY of RAM and quad-core speed AND, this thing gets lost in my backpack – fits in my purse for heaven’s sake – so mobility is a huge gratis. Ridiculously efficient. If you need a speedy, cool-running little work beast for a great price… buy this killer little NUC. It makes no noise as well. No airplane sound like my HP ENVY I was given from work – I don’t miss that and the bulky, sluggish lag of the old laptop. I’m thrilled with it! PS I am not a gamer but if speed is your need, this may do the trick. I am hightly recommand, just buy it!

I use these all the time for workstations, conference pcs, file servers. I’m addicted

Great for video conferencing. No lag, excellent streaming/video processing. Even when using backgrounds. Small enough to hang behind a tv

I bought two of these for a hobby project of mine. Basically, I needed 2 computers capable of streaming video from a few capture cards to Discord and I needed it all to be quickly and easily broken down for transport. Originally I had tried a Raspberry Pi 4, but the quality just wasn’t cutting it. I picked up one of these and I was very impressed with how powerful it is considering the size! I also had a short interaction with the customer support that was very smooth and easy. Now both machines rest comfortably in a briefcase that’s lighter than my desktop PC tower. My parents’ are in need of a new PC soon. Usually I give them hand-me-down parts from my PC as I upgrade, but I might opt for one of these instead. It would definitely save them a lot of desk space, and honestly it might be more powerful than the PC they have now. Definitely recommend!

I bought the 16GB NUC version though Roon said only 8 is necessary; in case I ever want to switch to Windows- keep my future options open. Anyway, this came installed with the updated bios and Windows 10 Pro which I have licensed so I just needed to install ROCK and the FFMPEG file, the codec file that is missing from the Rock kit. If that sounds complicated, it’s a lot easier than you may think. The file for AMD works fine if you can’t find Intel’s. Besides the core kit that’s the only extra I needed. Oh yes- I address a 1TB Samsun T7- the defecto standard for a fast external trouble-free experience. Says who- Me with 3 going strong. Just got my 4th. That’s another review.Why- If you know Roon, you are halfway there. I used to run the core on my Macbook i5 16 and it always took a while for it to find the core even on the same machine it ran on and loaded. Taking the finished NUC and putting it away under my TV with my audio cables, the ROCK should stay clear of trouble perhaps with a bi-yearly dust cleaning. Now Roon opens in about a second. And my Mac can do other things. I have an iFi iDSD BlackLabel DAC attached to my MAC which is now just an audio transport. I don’t know what algorithm Roon uses but the sound is better than Tidal Masters or Hi-Res Quobuz directly through the DAC. Plus I can run to multiple end points. I wouldn’t do that of course but I could.I love this thing; it feels good putting it together and having it work. Of course, I could have paid double for Roon’s i3 Nucleus but if you are comfortable with minimal tinkering- this is a very cool tech for audiophiles and any music lover.

My NUC was delivered today, barely 24 hours after I ordered it: the small carton box (approx. 6 x 6 x 5″) was in impeccable new condition and totally covered by protective plastic film. This box is full of descriptions about the features, technical info and the “INTEL NUC” everywhere, no doubt it is the real thing. Inserting the NUC in the middle of my crowded desk (two laptops/three monitors/one docking station) was a breeze, it didn’t take even five minutes to have the NUC hooked, turned on and running. First 20-30 minutes are dedicated to W10 completing its setup. It recognized my wireless network and connected to it in a second. After all is done, it may require you to restart it a couple of times, to get all the pending updates, but all in all it’s a seamless process that should take no more than 60 minutes. The fire trial in my case was to run the Cossacks 3 game (2016), which is barely playable on my laptop. After installing it on the NUC from GOG, I found that my calculations – based upon both CPU and Graphic Units PassMark scores – were justified. Playing the game on the NUC feels several times faster than on the Swift 3. Though, this wasn’t the main reason I decided to buy this Mini PC. I have been intrigued by them the last few years, until I finally decided to buy me this one to celebrate the birth of my third grandkid, who was born today, thousands of miles apart, almost at the same time the NUC arrived into my home: less than one hour of difference. How about that?PS 03/30/2021: I ran PassMark’s PerformanceTest on this PC. This is a summary of results: Overall 3133 43% – CPU 8235 47% – 3D Graphics 1798 27% – 2D Graphics 403 39% – Memory 2260 38% – Disk 15614 74%. The % figures are the percentiles: the share of computers already tested in PassMark DB (+1 MM), which perform below yours, the hereto reviewed one in this case. Not bad at all for a little guy costing 500 bucks.

These guys shipped quick and service was fine. I am not gonna give them bad remarks but need to warn people about intel warrantee support. We have about 20 of these with our clients and have had a few minor failures. A few fans and a jumper circuit failure. If the PC is critical to you, intel will honor your warrantee but won’t send parts to repair.. you must loose your pc for a week or pay for advance replacement.Am not happy with the few failure I have had… I use hp mainly and out of hundreds of machines low fail rate. Intel has a great product in the NUC line but you may not want to spend the high price when there are many non-NUC options out there.
