My son bought this for me because I am constantly streaming music and radio from my phone and I really like it! Over the years I’ve had JBL car and home speakers and I wore out three sets of the same model JBL sport earbuds. I can rely on JBL to provide great sound for the price and this bluetooth speaker delivers. I liked my first one so much that I bought three more so my wife and I and a couple good friends can each have one when we’re sitting around listening to music and talking. For a real sound treat, rest your head on a high-backed chair and rest the speaker on the “crown” of your skull with the front of the speaker aimed down towards your ears. The vibrations and sound will make you feel like you’re sitting in the middle of the band! It’s amazing!!!😁🎶🎵🎶

I have been looking for a Bluetooth speaker for awhile. I did not want an echo or google home. I found this jbl flip that had great review. It is waterproof, small and does’nt need internet so its portable. When I opened it up I was surprised how heavy and well built it was. Set up could not have been easier, turn it on – connect to bluetooth – start music app (in my case amazon prime music) and BAM beautiful clear Loud sound, its that easy. And the best part you can buy more of these little beauties and link them up for stereo sound if you want although I dont think it necessary. The only con I can see is if you listen to bass heavy songs this may not be the best for you but for the price of the speaker I think it is just fine.

After a lot of research on what I was looking for and wanted I went with the JBL flip 4. I love and wanted this Blue not offered in the Flip 5 and also was looking for something that was budget friendly to me. I could not be happier with the sound quality, the physical quality, the appearance, battery life (used for 12 hours with no issues) and the price. Awesome buy, I’d highly recommend and will be buying more JBL products in the future.

Purchased a Flip 2 years ago and used it continually (6hrs a day on avg) and now needs to stay on charge almost full time so purchased this one. Sounds even better than the previous one and if memory serves battery life is longer. They sync nicely and definitely have decent distance away from Bluetooth devices, maybe not as far as advertised but more than adequate. But the sound is the best compared to other brands I own. I use these portable speakers (and other brands) in different locations or vehicles (rv) because I don’t want to keep moving them. So because of the best sound these are used as accessory sound in projection theatre room and purchased another pair for the outside patio pool area. Recommend to anyone as the best speakers for best price!
Where Are My Droids? –
It’s just as amazing as all the reviews say. This little guy gets LOUD with NO distortion whatsoever (even at max volume). The bass is outstanding for the size. Watching the tiny subwoofers on the sides vibrate to bass-heavy tunes is great. It’s a total dream.I highly recommend going with this over the new JBL Flip 5 as JBL made the shocking decision to make them mono instead of stereo. I can only imagine they did this to push their bluetooth-link feature and get extra speaker sales from customers who want stereo sound. Weak, but at least the Flip 4s are still available and AMAZING!

I read the reviews and decided to go with it because they were all so great but nothing could have prepared me for just how amazing this blue tooth speaker is! The video doesn’t do it justice. It is LOUD! Best money ever spent. I got this for an upcoming beach trip because I have tons of good music on my phone. The only downside is once your screen goes to sleep it stops. So you have to make it to where it doesn’t sleep. The phone battery will run out before the speaker battery does. But that’s going to happen with any speaker. Good for by the pool as well. Probably the best I’ve had so far. Highly recommended.

I know the jbl flip 5 is already out, but reviews seem to show it sounding worse and you won’t be able to pair it with other jbl speakers. I had a flip 4 for many years before it finally gave out on me a few months ago. I thought I’d upgrade so I tried out the charge 4 and the UE megaboom. both speakers I had for a month or two but I just came back to the JBL flip 4 because I love it so much. While the charge 4 is louder, I don’t like its sound signature as much and it’s bulky. The megaboom sounded objectively better but didn’t get any louder and was much bigger. I just love the small size, yet surprising punch of the flip 4. 1 thing to note is unlike many other portable speakers, the flip 4 does not float, so don’t lose it in the ocean.

I just got this speaker. My immediate reaction is … WHOA!!!!After just one night spent using it, I am simply blown away by the sound quality.It gets LOUD if you want it to and pumps out surprisingly powerful bass.To be frank, it sounds like an old-school boom box that could really bang, except the footprint is much smaller.This is such an upgrade from all of the ordinary portable speakers that I’ve encountered.This is also an upgrade from JBL products made just a few years ago, speaking anecdotally. This sort of thing has apparently come a LONG way.

This little JBL Flip 4 seriously rocks. The highs, mid-range, and bass on this little dude are unbelievable. If you want a good song to check out my evaluation of the JBL Flip 4, checkout The Allman Brothers at the Filmore East Live recording of Stormy Monday to see how seriously this little speakers rocks with excellent sound quality throughout the song. Long story short, I’ve owned many Bose mini Bluetooth speakers over the past 10+ years, and I am now a serious JBL Flip 4 fan. If you want a small, cool looking Bluetooth speaker that sounds incredible, I highly recommend the JBL Flip 4. Be sure to get a case to protect your Flip4. I bought one that looks like a cylinder that zips 270 deg. around the case, and the Flip 4 fits nice and snug, with room for the charging cable and a USB charger plug. GREAT PURCHASE!!!!

I had tried music on the golf course for years, but always with earpods or ear phones. Just too difficult to manage and distracting. I got the JBL Bluetooth Flip 4 because a friend had one. The sound quality just blew me away! You can adjust the volume to a very low, non-disturbing level and still get quality treble and bass. Performance improved even more when I mounted the speaker near the roof of my cart; the roof added reverb! I’m careful to keep the volume low around partners and houses, but such a joy to hear my favorite tunes while enjoying my favorite sport. Plus, it’s so portable I plan to take it along on my golf trips. So easy to connect to my iPhone, it was almost automatic. Recharged fast. I can play my personal playlists. Life is 👍.
