This computer has been programmed very well, very light, and the structure is very thin, making it easy to carry. It’s very fast on the internet and it’s easy to use even if you aren’t good with technology. It’s great for kids to use for schoolwork and to learn how to be on and use the internet. And its sound is great for watching videos and FaceTiming friends.

Bought this when my old (heavy, atrocious battery life) laptop started to take a dive. Was looking for something lightweight with good battery since I work remotely and like to be able to toss my computer in my purse in the event I need to do anything for work when I’m not at home.So far, I LOVE it. It’s SUPER fast, battery doesn’t last quite as long as advertised, but it’s vastly superior to what I was working with before and plenty long for what I need. Keys and screen can catch a glare pretty easily, which is probably my main complaint, but that’s not a huge deal. I installed a Linux OS to dual-boot with Windows, and it’s worked flawlessly so far. Tons of internal memory, and great RAM/processing speed. I use my laptop mainly for basic work-related things, so I don’t need anything fancy. I’ve cycled through a few cheap Dell/HP/etc. computers the last few years that work great initially and then pretty quickly start to slow down or have issues, but I haven’t had a single problem with this computer so far.I was skeptical since I wasn’t at all familiar with the Jumper brand, but I took a chance because the specs looked great, and I’m so glad I did. For the price, nothing else even comes close.

Sharp picture, lightweight and compact. It came as a shock to discover there was regular hdmi port, so you have to buy a HDMI to C~Type cord to connect. Other than that, great performance for the cost.

They are excellent value for the money. Our kids have used them a lot during home school and also to play, so far to problems. The only downside is the quality of the camera, it’s pretty bad.

KEY NOTE: Go through setup without setting up WIFI!! There’s a glitch that sets the laptop in a loop and won’t get out of if you add a connection so just go through it with no wifi through setup and then afterwards adding one.Background:I’m a current IT Major and needed a windows laptop for coding/programming. So far, this laptop has been a great deal of help and didn’t need to break the bank for a laptop. This hardware should be a baseline for most students if I were to give recommendations.Pros:Lightweight and thinThe metal design should make it more durableBacklit keyboard for dark areas is a HUGE plus for the priceFast boot-upBattery life is respectable (around 7 hrs when browsing and typing up HW)Cons:The screen can be too reflectiveKeyboard keys can sometimes be hard to see when in direct lightBright enough for indoors but sometimes wish it could be more brighterTrackpad has a strange feeling but could just be my preference
