I use this camera in my job as an Ordinance Enforcement Officer for a local government. It is not uncommon for a property owner to be very hostile in their response to my presence so I often document the problems/violations from a distance. The zoom on this camera is amazing, so much so that I needed to purchase a mono-pole to stabilize it during an extreme zoom mode. Once I was able to stabilize it, the extreme zoom photos are a clear as could ever be asked for. It’s simple to use and has proven to be a reliable camera.

After having two Nikon cameras that literally fell apart due to cheap plastics, my hoped weren’t too great for this one.But not only is this camera made better….steel hinges on the SD/Battery door!….it takes far superior pictures to the Nikons!

This camera is not that bad feels great, actually the image is pretty good for the price mistakenly order 2 because is a gift for my son but i decide to keep the other one because the performance and the quality is pretty good videos are crystal clear, all depend and how you setup your camera you have ways to configure your camera, Pictures quality is great very clear images, you have to buy a SD card because i couldn’t find it in the box i upload some pictures about the item i will post some pictures taking from the camera i hope this review help you i was looking for a great quality camera for my son and this is pretty good to start.

Once you figure out your parameters, this baby is great! I don’t use the auto mode often so Im not sure how “great” point and shoot type pics are, but its great for macros for my jewelry product photos and the 42x zoom is incredible! The moon pic I shared is not cropped and I could have zoomed in more! None of these photos are edited. Its not the best for low light as it gets grainy, but how often am I doing candlelit photo shoots, right? Love it.

Some reviews say “my phone can take better photos!”. At close range, your $1000+ flagship can probably take better photos. At a distance, though, this camera shines. It can go up to 100x digital zoom, and 42x optical zoom. Let me explain quick. Digital zoom zooms using AI basically. It looses quality the further you zoom. You can do that up to 100x. Optical zoom is where the camera takes a photo with up to 42x zoom with the same quality as 1x zoom. Which is how this camera shines. The first photo was taken at 32x zoom (white and red plane). The second photo was taken at 7x zoom (green, white and blue plane). The third photo was taken at no zoom (black plane). And the last photo was taken at 20x zoom on a 100 degree day (so heat blur). It is an amazing camera for a lot of zoom. Sturdy as well, I have dropped it a few times with no visible damage, and the value is amazing! $150-175 for a camera this good is amazing.

I’ve used this camera for scenic pics, pics using the timer, pics of animals etc etcI really like it. Pics can be immediately downloaded to a computer and printed. It’s so easy to use too. Definitely recommend.
