Guess I’m lucky. Got exactly what I wanted. Phone was in great condition (9/10). Battery life is more than adequate. Haven’t found anything wrong with this renewed phone yet. Great phone for the money.

The renewed LG G8 ThinQ via Re-Cell is an excellent buy (like a brand new Flagship Android Smartphone at the price of a new Budget Android Smartphone). In 2012, I wanted to try a touchscreen Android. Hence, I purchased a budget phone, LG Optimus L9; living on the shore is expensive and after rent* there’s not much left for things like phones. The LG L9 was an upgrade from the BlackBerry Pearl Flip/BlackBerry OS. After a couple Motorola smartphones, I took a chance and purchased a renewed phone on the day of my college commencement. I received the phone a few days latter, and amazed with the excellent condition and performance of a flagship phone; it runs Android 10 out of the box, and the Snapdragon 865 Octa-core Processor it + 6 GB RAM/128 GB Memory runs it fast. I received a Sprint model, but it is unlocked and reads my SafeLink SIM; and data and phone are both crystal clear & fast on the SafeLink/Net 10/T-Mobile LTE network. I’ve been using the phone for a month now without problems… and based on my experience, it’ll probably keep operating smooth for years!

First off, register your phone at LGpromise.com for the 2 year warranty. It is accepted when purchased from here. Just send a copy of your invoice when you sign in on your browser and save as a PDF. I sent a screenshot from the app and that wasn’t sufficient. Do so before April 2021.Great price on a flagship phone from 2019.I needed an upgrade and didn’t like anything available with my carrier.The phone was activated on Metro by T-Mobile. The WiFi Calling and VoLTE features work.Arrived in near mint condition. There were fairly visible scratches on the side of the screen. Added a screen protector and they’re no longer visible. The back Glass looks flawless. I’m contemplating adding a ceramic coating to prevent new scratches.The 3500maH battery is ok. It’s definitely a lot better than any phone with a lower capacity. I was able to get 7-8 hrs of screen on time and 27hrs of use in total. From what I’ve read this is normal and considered good. For me it’s ok, but I’m used to having my Moto G7 Power with a 5000maH battery. That can last 3 days, but that’s due to less RAM and a 720p IPS display.Overall there are so many features to list. Re-cell: The LG G8 was in near perfect condition with less than 100hrs on it when I received it. The LG G8 was packaged well and protected in its foam cage came with a standard charger and cable. Wireless charging sold separately and I have found that wireless charging creates more waste heat and is noticeable warm to the touch.LG G8 ThinQ1.) FoT (Fight of time) hands camera feature is nice to use and works well.2.) LG did well to place the fingerprint on the back which works accurately and quickly.3.) Screen notch… well I thought it would bother me but it hasn’t.Lg’s QHD+ OLED can operate in 1440p or 1080p and I don’t mind having 1080p for extended runtime and switching it to standard resolution 1440p when viewing high-quality media.4.) Battery life with battery extended mode on got the phone to last 9 am to 7 pm with approximately 80% left. Heavier usage such as Youtube or some intensive apps will drain the phone faster though it will still last most of the day.5.) Wireless charging sold separately and I have found that wireless charging creates more waste heat and is noticeable warm to the touch.Standard wired charging with fast charging works well and fast.

I’ve been using the LG G Series since the LG 4 and I have always found that they are far superior for their price range than any other phone on the market. So it came as no surprise that this latest upgrade has been satisfactory. I love the camera, especially the video camera. This phone performs smoother then the G7 and has a huge upgrade to the selfie camera, now rifling that of the main camera in terms of quality and resolution. It feels a lot more premium then the last two previous versions, and has so far not disappointed in terms of charging speed, and performance speed. I was also pleasantly surprised at the accuracy and speed of the face unlock. It works just as fast if not sometimes faster from a fully locked position with the screen off even in bad lighting then the iPhone. And at one fifth of the price! If you are thinking about upgrading your phone and you want to get a premium device comparable she’s out of an iPhone 11 or Samsung S10, then do yourself a favor and get this phone instead. You won’t be disappointed and your wallet will thank you.

I specifically needed a T-Mobile phone and that’s exactly what I received! Looks and works like brand new. Super fast. Long battery life. This purchased saved me $450. If something changes I will update this review.

Really this review is more for the seller… The phone was what they said it was. Perfect condition. TMobile variety, just insert SIM and go. The phone is fantastic. I love it. Its a good upgrade from my V20 and the battery life seems really good for me. Pictures are great, but if you are thinking of buying the phone you can read more professional reviews. Great phone.

So, this phone does work and it works quite well. I love it! However, if you do what I like to do and read all the one star reviews, you’re probably wondering if it’s worth it to buy a renewed phone. In my experience, I think it comes down to who you buy it from. I bought my phone from Re-Cell and I was super happy with the product. Right when I opened the box, there was a piece of paper with some contact information and basic instructions for how to set up the phone. The paper really stressed that if I was dissatisfied with the product in any way, or just needed help setting up the phone, I could call the seller and they would fix the problem, even if they had to swap out the phone for one that worked better. I ended up completely satisfied with my phone, so I never had to contact the seller. But the fact that there was a way to contact the seller and that they would be so available was very comforting. It also mattered to me that the paper was obviously written by someone that spoke English as a first language- so if I did call them and need help, I would be able to understand them. Just a really good experience with this seller- they seemed super legit and trustworthy.

I was very satisfied with my purchase. Tried going the cheaper route with eBay and getting “unlocked” phones that were from other carriers but were not fully compatible. Phone arrived in what looked like an almost OEM box with proper charger and the headphone.amd the Sim card tray tool! No cheap knock off’s like the eBay phones. My phone was indeed a T-Mobile phone as advertised. Everything worked great.

If you buy your phone from OlympicWireless…it comes earlier then expected. And what you read from the ad is exact phone u get sent to u. When I opened the box which was nicely presented in non oem box. Took phone out which was charged to 75% and was carmine red T-mobile. It was flawless. Turned on and inserted T-mobile SIM card and worked flawlessly. Thank You OlympicWireless you have a customer for life. Will spread the word that you are 5* seller!
