I’m 6’4, 215ish and have had back surgery. I had a previous Next Level Racing wheel stand but it was extremely heavy and built more for shorter people or kids. This one has the built in chair which is super adjustable. I made the back end as high as possible and then raised the front end up almost to the highest point so that I could lean back but still have a great angle to the monitor. I’m not sitting straight up which greatly helps my back. The wheel is nicely positioned right in front of me and is plenty adjustable to get the right height. My shoulders don’t hurt like my last stand because the wheel isn’t super high up. The shifter can be mounted on either side and is in just the perfect position, and is also adjustable. The chair is comfortable enough, though I will experiment with cushions and pillows only because of my back injuries but I still love it. The build quality is amazing. I am so impressed with how it all comes together. It is all rock solid too, there is no play with the shifter and the wheel doesn’t wobble about. Granted, I have an old G27 which isn’t the strongest wheel on the market but I have zero complaints. Even at 6’4 the pedals are at a perfect distance as far back as they can go and if I truly needed to go further, I could tweak things further using less bolts or just place the pedals on the floor directly. I spent a few hours assembling everything and tweaking it all to my exact positions and it all folds up and puts away nicely despite not ruining my adjusted positions. Also, it isn’t super heavy like my last stand and doesn’t require its own chair since this one is built in. This is the single best purchase I have made for sim racing since the wheel itself.

All I can say is WOW!! This chair is amazing, easy to set up and comfortable. I can sit in this thing for hours with no issues!! I have several arthritis so I needed something that I could sit in without hurting my back or hips and this is it. And also the nice thing is, is that you can fold it up and slide it away. Heck I sit in this thing all day. 10 out of 10

This is the best folding racing chair, period. Super solid construction, no wobble when you’re using it, it’s easy to get in and out of, and is fairly customizable to fit players of many different sizes. If you’ve got the Logitech shifter, it doesn’t REALLY fit that well because the folding hub is in the way of the shifter mounting point. Some other shifters probably fit better, but I was able to mount my logitech with a single bolt and the clamps keep it in place. Not an issue, just seems like an oversight. The hubs are really easy to use but they do make folding the chair a bit more difficult than I’d like. Next Level Racing offers a video instructional on how to fold the seat, but they don’t fold it the same way as it’s folded on the marketing, which is strange. It DOES fold up nearly flat with the wheel and pedals mounted, but it is awkward. Again, it’s not a major issue because it does work, but its confusing that they would photograph it folded a certain way and then give instructions to fold it in a different way that makes it less compact.Wire management is lacking, but I’m not sure there’s much to do differently. I used small velcro straps.TL;DR – this is a FOLDING chair so there are going to be compromises made. It will never be as good as a stationary setup, but this is the BEST product for anyone who doesn’t have enough space to devote to a permanent solution. Compared to ‘other’ folding chairs, this is an amazing value. Some suggestions for the manufacturer:A lumbar pillow would make a great accessory, I find that I am much more comfortable with a pillow, this could just be a personal preference but the option of adding a matching pillow would’ve been great.Would LOVE to have a nylon drawstring bag to slide over the seat when it is folded up. The included strap helps keep it from coming unfolded but a drawstring bag would be a cleaner way to store this when not in use.

Edit: I have been in touch with Next Level Racing’s customer service and the we VERY quick to make thing right so I have changed my rating to 5 stars! The chair had a broken plastic/composite part on it the the steering wheel base arm locks into. It is cracked and I do feel like it does not keep the steering wheel as stable as it was if it were not cracked. The part seems to bolt into the frame and could easily be replaced….will update if this issue is resolved.

I just got in to Sim racing, and this is my first cockpit. I watched a lot of YouTube before finally deciding on this one, and it is incredible. A lot of the you tube reviewers missed a lot of the customization options it has. Though it is GT only, you can can to a more reclined position simular to formula pretty easily. Also, this thing is stout. The pedals don’t budge, and the steering wheel doesn’t budge during racing so long as you have it in a comfortable and natural position (which is very easy to do with the adjustable plate). Blown away by this, and super happy with my purchase.

It’s fully adjustable for damn near any size. But I do recommend marking the adjustable mechanism parts with a silver sharpie when you get it set to your sweet spot. So you don’t have to try to remember how you had it set up before you fold it up

This seat was the final piece of the puzzle in my sim setup. I’m no pro gamer, but I enjoy the experience aspect of racing games. This seat tied everything together with the setup I had and made it so much more. Next Level answered all of my questions via email and were extremely helpful in my buying experience. Like many of you, I looked at all the options available on Amazon. After countless video reviews, I came to the conclusion that this was the seat for me.The fact that it’s foldable kept my wife happy and could save me space in my small office. The seat is extremely comfortable to sit in for hours. Everything mounts up with bolts included (which I was not expecting). I have the TM 300GT and this seat is more than capable of holding everything together. For the price, it can’t be beat. The shifter mount also sold this setup for me. Everything from the wheel to the pedals and the shifter can be hard mounted and secured. I’ve put about 200 hours in this seat and I wouldn’t change a thing. Down the road I’ll upgrade to one of the more “pro” models from NL. But for now, this is perfect. 10/10 would recommend.

A bit cumbersome to assemble due to the foldable design but not a big deal. Had it assembled in less than 30 minutes with no issues. The seat seems build well and the fabric used for the seat feels really durable and breathable which I appreciate since I tend to be hot natured.Used this to play Dirt Rally 2.0 and iRacing with my Logitech G923 wheel and pedals and had an absolute blast! What a game changer! I set in it for over 3 hours and was comfortable the whole time.I am 6’1″ and had the pedals pushed all the way forward on the mounts. I would have liked another 2 or so inches to move them forward but not a huge deal.Overall completely satisfied and well worth the money!

Great setup. Especially for a starter sim racer like myself. I have it hooked up to the Logitech wheel and pedals with a Thrustmaster H pattern shifter. Works great! Customizable to any person and seat is not the most comfortable, but hey, I saw the cockpit by themselves and wanted a lower-sitting chair and the price point is unbeatable with both. Folds up pretty good and the seating position is great for my 48 inch monitor that is 2 feet off the ground. Just make sure you have zip ties because the cords can be a bit of a pain (as seen in the pic). Overall, very happy with this purchase and will use it a TON.

Overall it is a great rig. The seat is comfortable and everything (wheel, pedals, seat) is fairly adjustable. The one adjustment that made the most difference for me was the front legs of the seat. At first the wheel base was really close to my knees and I would hit the one adjustment knob sometimes. Moving the front legs up was a big improvement.Assembly was OK but a little tricky, maybe took 90 minutes. Also the Logitech H pattern shifter (for a G29, etc.) does not quite bolt on fully but can be tightened down enough to work without moving around.
