Without a doubt the best picture I have seen. The first thing we watched was an episode of the original Star Trek. The planet look real the people looked almost 3D and all of the features, wrinkles etc where clear. Much better color than older sets as well.

Good picture quality for the price, adequate settings for picture quality and sound settings. Also, you have pretty good privacy options with regard to the smart features; obviously you can’t completely turn them off unless you decide not to connect to internet and use it like an old school TV. Only two HDMI inputs, which is disappointing, additionally cannot turn off some connectivity options like Bluetooth. However, happy that it includes Airplay as an option, while implementation isn’t perfect, it’s welcome at this price point.This is more than adequate for most people looking for a Smart TV.

I’m a 20th century guy, smart TV’s however are a requirement in this day and age. This went into my bed room, have a much larger Samsung smart TV in the Living room. So the title exactly matches how my expectations were met. It’s a good TV, really for the price point it’s an amazing TV. Does everything my semi tech life requires and has more features than I’ll ever figure out how to use.

I have this TV attached to my computer (which is equipped with a GTX 1080). Before I had a 55″ TCL, but some of the pixels died and then the picture quality went south. I decided to step up to the Samsung. Not only is the picture better, but much to my surprise, the sound quality is MUCH better on the Samsung that other devices I’ve owned.I run my PC in 4k (2160p) which gives me the same number of dots on the screen as running 4 x 1080p monitors. By using a 55″ TV, the actual dots displayed are just a little bit bigger than if I had 4×24″ monitors (which is good because the upper corners will be further away than if you have a single 24″ monitor). Video quality is outstanding, and productivity using this monitor is outstanding (especially if you are a programmer, or write tutorials).I also use the TV with my Xbox-One-X and they work very well together using HDR.

The image quality on 4K UHD productions is astoundingly clear and vivid. The remote control has a bit of a lag associated with it. There’s no “Favorites” button. The TV lost the WiFi connection a few times so I used the LAN wired option which is really how you should connect to the internet in every situation especially for viewing 4K streams. It arrived in pristine condition in protective packaging from California to Maryland in less than a week. I recommend this TV.

I always felt you can never go wrong with Samsung. I was right. It works well in terms of our new Family Home Theater. The picture quality and overall value is fantastic. My only regret is that I should’ve purchased the 80 inch; however, I am very happy.
