TL;DR – hardware amazing, software you’ll like it or you won’t, battery life is inconsistent, let’s talk “cinema quality” from the adsInconsistent battery life /charging speeds – when I first got this, we’re talking 19 hours of me using it. That was impressive. Screen on time in the 6+ hour range, I could kill it if I tried but I’m a psycho power user. Somewhere around month 2 that dropped to finding myself needing to charge after I got home from work, where I wasn’t using it.Your battery life is screen on time, power used to do WiFi or Cell transmission and how much of that you’re actually doing, whether you’re actually doing anything. Battery should have been nearly full.Cut to this past week, right back to all day power, with standard usage. Nothing tends to show in the battery usage summary, due to my rather unexciting life I’m usually in the same two places so it’s not like I’m dealing with a lot of variables here. Something’s up with their power management and here’s the other thing I didn’t mention – my wife has the same phone. The same issues popped up on hers and we don’t really share software in common other than the basic Samsung and Google sets that come preinstalled.Probably firmware as no battery usage for apps seemed untoward.Next, this “cinema quality” 8K advertising nonsense. Nah, this is quite a few more pixels than that. 8K is surprisingly not a good experience. You’ll be shooting it and it’s jerky to watch on screen while shooting, and the end results are – they’re good, but looking closely it’s just better than 4K, not a whole lot clearer, not a whole lot of effective pixel addition. The codec seems to be set at “awww, they’re never going to notice that” as opposed to “save all the image datas!”Absolutely great phone, second Android phone I’ve had that I’ve had no desire to root it.I will point out the one complaint I have here is Samsung support is completely useless – something’s wrong with my wife’s account and they refuse to read a ticket I put in about it – they see that I have an account, skip over all the words I wasted time writing that explained in complete detail what is wrong, and copy and paste how to log into my account. No Samsung, for some reason her account doesn’t work, her birthday claims it’s incorrect so you refuse to send a password reset link or text message… this is the problem, not that me, the husband, has an account and can’t log in….

I bought this phone for the camera plain and simple. The camera is amazing. I love all of the options. I bought a life proof case which may mess with the fingerprint sensor but still, it’s an expensive phone so… Long story short: amazing camera, fast phone, good battery, worth it!

I love this phone! I was attached to my S9 plus but after less then a week it is a distant memory!

This is by far the best Samsung Galaxy Flagship phone. I have changed my phone from iPhone 11 to S21 and this phone meets all my expectations. I would like to mention the long-lasting battery which has always been an issue in iPhone.Pros:1. Best camera till now. Works very well with great zoom as well. Attached one pic from the phone I clicked.2. Long Lasting battery.3. Enlarged fingerprint scanner, which was missing in my iPhone. The fingerprint scanner has a big surface area and is quite quick.4.Reverse charging for the buds is an amazing concept. The pods can be charged from the phone itself.5.Looks elegant to hold and has nice finish to it.6.Speaker volume is good if not the best in the series.7.Played multiple games on the phone and the phone did not lag at all.8. The screen Quality is really niceCons:1.No power brick included in the box2.A bit on the heavier side.3.curved screen not curved like older flagship phones. This is a review after 1 week of usage, will update it after more usage.

I upgraded from the S20+ To the S21 ultra. The design is so much better in terms of looks and feel. I’m really enjoying 120hz at Quad HD resolution and the display is really bright, specially outdoors. The ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is faster and more accurate, now I don’t have to put much force in order for it to read my fingerprint. The cameras aren’t drastically better, improvements are mostly noticeable in low light. I have no issues with battery life, I’ve been ending the day with around 40% battery left. I also noticed the stereo speakers are launder and clearer than the S20+. Only downside is not from the phone but I originally ordered the phantom Silver color and I received the phantom black but I actually ended up keeping it since it looks so good.

Samsung is famous for bloatware and their new flagship phone has more than any other phone they make. I like the new phone but the display scratches easily and Samsung’s bloatware is overwhelming. I turned off all notices, alarms, reminders, and notifications and still I am bothered at least once or twice a day by some notification for something I don’t want. It’s very troublesome and distracting. The first S21 Ultra I received had a scratched display and emitted warnings that the storage was full–although it was brand new. I received another one and within a month the screen had two scratches even though I only kept it in my empty pocket. I’d like to write about the great features and performance (it’s faster than my PC and the camera is out of this world!) but the bloatware is very troubling and bothersome. The notifications are annoying and disruptive. The user is forced into the Samsung world and it’s difficult to stay in the Google world that I prefer. Right off the bat Samsung downloaded 12 Samsung apps that I have no idea what they are for or any use for–just more bloatware. I had a support question and phoned their support line but had a difficult time understanding the tech because of her accent and the echo. I’m usually not bothered by accents, but this woman’s accent was impossible to understand. I was forced to hang up and phone another tech for help.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Pros the phone has a good camera and very good screen quality. I post the front camera and back camera videos to show the quality. I took pic with front camera. The speed is great and the memory is good no need for a SD card. Cons is the battery the battery life is average like one of those 100 dollar phones batteries.

I wanted to give this phone some full usage before I wrote my review and I can finally get into full detail. Before I jump into my pros vs cons let’s just mention my personal final thoughts.Get it! Thought over.Whether you are transitioning from Apple to Android or just upgrading, this is without question the correct choice. With the latest chipset, processors, camera array, and intelligent software there are so many possibilities.Pros:1) The battery life is absolutely insane. Now at first I wasn’t sure how I felt about the battery. It seemed average after the first day or two of use. But something clicked half way through the third day of use. I had read from articles and watched YouTube reviews from TechTubers about this intelligent software. I expected them to be referencing the Ai. But it is so much deeper in that. This phone continues to monitor your usage and learn the way you operate with it. Pair it with a smart watch to perfectly shift usage and workload. At no point since purchase has this device seemed to struggle. I can comfortably say this is a 2 day phone easily. 2 days of continuous normal usage before needing a recharge.2) The finger print reader is vastly improved from previous devices and can now be compared to the likes of devices like One Plus. Yes you will have to spend a good minute or so letting every point of your finger be thoroughly mapped out but it has proven to be lightning fast in response.3) This camera…phew. if there was ever a single reason to choose the Ultra variant over the other two it is absolutely due to the camera. Laser focus, combined with smart lenses, and a true melody of beautiful spec options results in a user paradise. One could literally place a fruit, a leaf, and some random option side by side for a shot and notice visible suggestion. The fruit will display a food shot mode. The leaf will suggest aspect ratio options or even the ultrawide/ Auto-Focus macro shot mode. Truly mastering this camera will not only take time but also lot of practice, something I personally look forward to.4) This may seem like something that at first should be obvious. But use of this device just truly feels so effortless and fluid. Everything works how I would want it to, and at just a speed that truly leaves you with a sense of relief.Cons:1) Inevitably as with all Samsung products of course there is some bloatware. But from what I’ve seen it at least is not overwhelming. A few apps I know I’ll never used sprinkled around. But those have just been compiled into a folder and forgotten about.2) To some this may be a nuisance so it’s worth mentioning. Although this device has an Android OS, it is noticeable the amount of strictly Samsung branded apps/Widgets available. It will take some navigating to better arrange your set up to one’s preference. Especially when it comes to something such as utilizing the Google Play Store vs Samsung Store.3) Third but maybe most importantly, given the circumstances everyone is facing due to Covid-19 the price is certainly a factor. Even with sales yes this is a price handset. Yes there was a price drop from last year, but that doesn’t really soften the blow.4) No charging brick. No matter how it is explained or reasoned, the absence of the brick is felt! On first charge I did use a prior usb-C to usb-a charger and wow…..talked about watching paint dry. There was absolutely no way that is truly the best option across the board for all the relevant phone companies. (Ended up buying a usb-c IQ charger from Anker. I think that was like $14 approximately. Definitely an immediate and noticeable remedy, thanks Anker for that save.)If one were to say is this phone worth the 999$-1200$ price tag. Honest answer, absolutely, depending on how one plans to use it. If you want the BEST experience out of the three variants (S21, S21+,S21 ultra) there is only one choice. However if that price point just isn’t within your budget or path of purchase, I can still say the other two options will suffice also.

Depending on your tastes, the camera on the s21u is both really good and really bad. If you can get over some of the auto-correcting features/high light bloom, it can get some pretty darn cool shots. Heck, you can now take pictures of the moon through its phases. The main thing is trying to get a clear and unblurred shot on normal photo mode isn’t easy. It will track movement and then take the picture about .03-.12 seconds AFTER the preview photo’s image, so you’re not getting that exact moment, which can either be good or bad.Phone basic functionality – Texting and calling can do a lot better. S20 and after seem to have a very funky way of handling both due to 5g not really being a widespread thing, but even set to wifi they can’t seem to hold a signal very well for either. Repeated messages etc. Fortunately for me, I don’t use either enough for it to be an issue.Battery/cpu – It will start putting all apps that like to start in the background to a hibernate status if you never use them, I quite like this feature. The one thing is under cpu strain like a game or something, or just sitting in your pocket, it can get quite warm-> actually hot. Just make sure to avoid programs that do this. The screen is very nice, 120hz on a phone vs a pc, there’s a world of difference for smoothness on a phone. No issues here, and it isn’t bad on standard 60 either.Overall, 5g(the service) is still vastly overrated. But the phone itself, is definitely not.

I love my new phone! It’s so perfect! I’m still trying to get used to the placement of the fingerprint reader as my last phone was a S9+. It was delivered next day and I’ve been using it for 3 days now and I’ve had no issues.
