J. Love –
The only smartwatch I’ve ever had was a fitbit charge 2 so I don’t really have anything to compare it to, so keep that in mind.I’m a pretty sedentary and anxious human being so I got this to keep myself accountable for going on walks, meditating, and generally getting my act together. So far it’s doing what I want it to.I’m going to say the SpO2 sensor is super janky, and can’t decide whether I’m perfectly healthy or on the verge of brain damage from hypoxia half the time. I have no symptoms, and my readings on a regular pulse oximeter and at the doctor are consistently normal so I’m not concerned about this.I love that it auto detects my walks after a while because I always seem to forget to tell it I’m going. It tells me how long it took me to go a mile and how many steps I took and the breakdown after the walk is over is nice. The ECG feature is reassuring as well, as I can share that information with my doctor easily with the interface given. I don’t understand the body composition feature so I’ll maybe update this review when I talk to my doctor about it in a couple months. I wouldn’t use it if you have body dysmorphia though. You can take that tab off both the phone and the watch in the settings so you don’t have to think about it if you’re concerned. You will need a samsung device to use ECG , SpO2, and a couple other things I can’t recall at the moment, so that’s a bit frustrating for those who don’t have samsung everything.Every feature is very enjoyable, snappy, and pretty much everything I wanted in a smartwatch. I’m pleased with it, am moving more, and when used in conjunction with my other stress control and fitness apps I’m starting to be able to see quantifiable results from all the effort I’ve been putting in. I can control my music with it, send texts, make calls. My life is easier, my exercise is more fun, and I’m getting to be a lot happier with its help. The battery life sucks, but it’s probably good to take it off for an hour or so a day anyway as the band is comfortable but can start to rub wrong. All in all, I’m very satisfied with it. It suits my needs better than I expected. It no longer feels like a frivolous purchase. I didn’t absolutely need it, but I’m very glad to have it.

Love it so far. Ordered it the morning it was released and for it 2 days later. Quick fast shipping and packed well!

I simply love it. The last smart watch I had felt cheap but this ones dose not.

I love the watch works great. The band on the watch where you would fasten it came loose. I don’t want to return the whole watch. So how will this issue be rectified?
Ashley –
I bought it for my boyfriend who has the galaxy note phone. He’s super happy with it and doesn’t have any complaints.
Ricardo –
One of the the best watches on the market without a doubt.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. The best smartwatch I’ve ever had

I ordered the Galaxy Watch 4 directly from Samsung. I took advantage of the trade-in program on my Active 2.The Watch 4 is sleeker and more premium than the Active 2. The limited number of current watch faces being it’s only drawback. The main reason for my review is to counter the review stating the touch bezel isn’t touch sensitive. Nonsense! In fact, it is more touch sensitive and smoother operating than my Active 2.

Galaxy Watch 4 -New for 2021, Samsung has released two versions of the Galaxy Watch: Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. This Galaxy Watch 4 has a physical design similar to the Galaxy Watch Active 2, with the digital touch ring around the edge, and sizes of 40mm and 44mm. Meanwhile, the Watch 4 “Classic” has a physical design more like the Watch 3, with a physical rotating steel bezel and sizes of 42mm and 46mm. Both versions come in Bluetooth or LTE models. Both versions now use Google’s WearOS operating system, instead of Samsung’s TizenOS, which all previous Samsung watches used. This means a wider selection of apps to choose from for your watch, including all of the Google apps.So to reiterate:Watch4 = Watch Active2 design + Google WearOSWatch4 Classic = Watch3 design + Google WearOSBoth versions now have a faster processor than the Watch3, as well as more RAM (1.5GB upgraded from 1GB) and more storage (16GB upgraded from 8GB). There are also some extra sensors including a geomagnetic sensor, and body composition analysis, although some functionality may depend on your country. Here are some of my other thoughts after using these watches so far:-WearOS: This is the biggest difference to me so far. There are many more apps available now that Samsung is using WearOS, including things like Google Maps. I have really enjoyed the wider variety of apps to choose from. Of course, if you had previously been using a custom watch face on a Galaxy Watch 3 from the Galaxy Store, you might miss that old face, but there are plenty of others to choose from.-Speed: The Watch 4 is noticeably faster. Scrolling through apps and launching applications just seems to be more smooth, and a tiny bit faster to do everything.-BodyComp: This seemed to be pretty inaccurate for me, but it is nice to have this data for a baseline to try to improve.-Battery: The battery life seems to be a bit better with this Watch4 than it was with the Watch3. I will test this more over the next few weeks.Overall, I like the changes with this new version of the Galaxy Watch. There are reportedly more software updates in the works too, like using Google Assistant instead of Bixby. Coming from the Galaxy Watch 3, I prefer the Watch 4 “Classic” model because of the rotating bezel, but if you are upgrading from the Active2 and don’t care about the bezel, then you might prefer the regular Watch 4. (Note – I personally have not tried to use these with an iPhone, but several sources seem to indicate that there are some difficulties when trying to do so, so do some research first if you are using an iPhone)
