I have had this TV for 8 months now. There were some minor issues with the firmware in the beginning that were resolved after a couple of updates. The picture quality is awesome. The Smart features give me everything I was looking for. After 8 months, I learn new things about my TVs capabilities, for example, today I hooked up an external hard drive that I have some movies downloaded on and I am able to play the movies directly from the drive on my TV. The DVR disconnects sometimes, but I think that is an issue with the DVR and it is a minor inconvenience.I really love this TV. Samsung has done it again!

I have had the TV for two months. I really liked it until it developed purplish spots that persisted when the picture was dark or black. I have three other Samsung TV’s and have never had an issue. If they fix the problem with minimal hassle i would rate the tv a 4.5 stars. We will see how Samsung handles their problems now. My service experience so far has been less than stellar. I did a live chat which was fine. I wasn’t expecting them to fix it. They slowly went through their script then directed me to a website to fill out a request for service. I’m trying to fill out a request for service but the system just locks up every time I fill out the request. My guess is I’ll have to call tomorrow. Other than this it had worked great. Only app I use is Plex which works fine.Update: I thought I would take the time to update my review. Once I got past the first level of tech support with Samsung everything went fine. They kept trying to make me do unhelpful fixes. Finally I insisted that a service appointment be set up. They informed me that there could be a charge if nothing was found wrong with the TV. I told them fine. The same week they came out and replaced the LED panel. TV works great now. I have updated review from two stars to five stars. I also must say that Amazon was great with their price match guarantee for 30 days. On day 30 the price of this TV went down $300. I called them and within 3 days there was a credit on my account.

All I can say is wow. I decided to buy this TV as an early Christmas gift to myself and boy, am I sure happy! Fits perfectly in my room, sound is better than my old tv, the picture is beyond amazing, and the amazon delivery guys set it up in less than 5 minutes. Could not be more pleased with this purchase.

This is a great 55″ 4K TV which I’m enjoying a lot. The colors are vibrant & the display is sharp. The smart TV functions work well and the Internet connection is excellent. I like that the border is very small so you get maximum viewing area. Our viewing distance is 13 Feet and the 55″ display is perfect for the space. Standard resolution seems to be 1080P for most of the cable channels we watch. The upscaling feature of this TV gives us sharper and better viewing than we ever achieved with our old 1080P TV. The best results are derived with actual 4K content. We have watched some amazing 4K movies that you can find on YouTube and other places. I assume that regular broadcasts will improve in time. Between the greatly improved viewing due to upscaling of regular channels, actual 4K content available now and future prospects of more 4K content, this is the perfect TV for us. It is highly recommended.

I have purchased five televisions from Amazon over the last few years and could not be more satisfied. The most recent 4K 40″ and 55″ 2015 models have been the best yet. Do yourself a big favor and go to the rtings.com site and duplicate the settings they recommend for outstanding results. You may need to adjust brightness to your liking but otherwise the settings were perfect for me.Aside from the satisfaction with the television, 3 days after receipt I noticed a $185 drop in price and Amazon with no argument at all, issued the credit. As it turns out, it was one of those whacky one day price drops that I am thrilled to have noticed.I could not see any real difference between the 2015 and 2016 models and could not me happier with my purchase.

I love it. After a little tweaking picture is great. On the factory setting was so bright it about hurt your eyes, but after turning just about everything down it’s perfect. Sound is pretty good for rear mounted TV speakers.

I bought this over a year ago for my vacation home. It was a black friday special. Most reviews were very positive. Almost every person that sees it wants to know what it is. The picture is about as live looking as you could possibly imagine. I have digital cable hooked up but none of my other Tvs look like this. An awesome picture, easy set up, delivered to my door, I even added the bluetooth surround sound from Samsung. great package!

Great smart TV. I had put off buying until they had one in my size and price range. The first tv had issues, but after calling Amazon they got right on it and sent out the new tv pronto. I don’t have a single complaint. I love the tv! It was the easiest to set up ever. It automatically sensed the cable remote…no set up whatsoever! Seriously, throw away the old tv and buy this one. They are amazing. I did not buy a sound bar and I feel the sound is perfectly fine whether I am listening to rock at full blast or a classical album.

Love the TV. Worth every penny. Mine got about 6-7 bleeding brigh-blue/purplish spots on it on, very visible on dark scenes but still enjoyable. I love the built in features such as YouTube, screen cast, Amazon Prime etc.I paired this TV with XfinityTV and PS4 and the image quality is just amazing. I watched few 1080P MKV movies from an external hard drive, and the image looks stunning.The sound is fantastic as well. I don’t think I even need to buy external speakers, I will get complaints every day then.Off course Amazon scheduled delivery service is like a cream on the pie, makes the buying experience a joy.
