I needed something large and inexpensive to hang off of a gaming laptop. Nothing top of the line but I needed a decent screen at a decent price. This monitor does the job. As a bonus I seem to be having no issues getting Free sync to work via the onboard 1060 as g-sync compatible. For less than $200 I’m not sure this deal can be beat.

This monitor is a good monitor for the price range of $200 I can get a 30inch ultrawide monitor curved 85hz. The 85hz can be changed directly inside the window 10 settings. However, the 1ms MRPT or the Adaptivesync only 1 as a time and can’t enable both at the same time. But for the price, the monitor is very good as I don’t see image tearing in-game when I enable the fast mode for adaptive sync inside the Nvidia control panel but if you put as adaptive you will see screen tearing.

Great ultrawide monitor for work and gaming. Fits my slack and web browser side by side comfortably when communicating, and my programming IDE with console when doing work. The curve makes it easy to see anywhere on the screen. The image quality doesn’t compare to a HDR+ 4K monitor I also have, but it’s inline with this monitor’s price. The mounting screw problem is real, but you have 3 screws to get it right. You can also probably buy a longer screw at a hardware store if all else fails. A nice touch is that monitor includes a screwdriver (sweet)!I was able to get full 2560×1080 resolution at 85Hz with MacBook Pro, dongle, and HDMI cable. It looks buttery smooth!EDIT: The sound hiccups I experienced originally were due to a bad USB-C to HDMI adapter. Switched it out and everything works great, no sound dropouts!

I bought this because it was curved, extra wide, and inexpensive compared to the other monitors. Overall I’m incredibly happy! I’m not a gamer at all and use this for the home office for work and it is fantastic. I was over the dual monitor set up because picture quality was never perfect when moving from screen to screen, but the size of this screen makes it so much more pleasing and easier to use. I use it as a dual screen with my laptop but set it as my primary screen. It does sit very low when on the stand from the manufacturer, but I got a desk mount adjustable stand with it and that fixed that issue. It’s also nice there’s speakers in the monitor, not the best but they do the job.

Got this for my home office, as it was uncomfortable / impractical to work out of a small laptop screen for an extended period of time. My desk is fairly small, and it would have made fitting 2 regular monitors side by side (similar to my office setup) difficult to achieve. This monitor seemed like a good compromise. It’s ultra wide screen, so it takes up less space than a typical 30″ monitor. It allows me to have 2 applications open side by side for ease in working (i.e. Outlook on the left hand side, Excel on the right). You can obviously do this on a regular monitor, but because the dimensions (and resolution) of this monitor are ultra wide screen, you have extra screen real estate to play with. One note about the resolution – the max is 2560 x 1080p, which seemed a bit low to me considering it’s a 30″ screen. I imagine more expensive monitors might have higher resolutions.Screen quality is fine for the price paid. If you are looking for a hardcore gaming or other monitor, perhaps something a bit higher up the price chain would be more suitable. But for basic home office needs, this monitor has been great so far.

The 85htz makes such a difference great monitor

The Sceptre C305W-2560UN 30-inch is a great multitasking monitor for work due to the 21:9 ultra wide aspect ratio. I use this as my sole monitor working from home with my comamy laptop.I had previously purchased and returned a 32″ 16:9 as aspect ratio HP monitor due to considerable window scrolling when stacking screens side to side. Glad it was not necessary for me to purchase two monitors. This is a space saver.Although this is not an IPS level screen it still looks great. I am looking forward to gaming on it I’m the future.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Nice ultra monitor for $200Has built in speakers that’s usable and not nasty flat sound. A lot bigger screen then I expected. 85hz and 1M response time definitely makes a difference in FPS games.

I was prodded and encouraged to buy a curved monitor, something that would replace the iMac and secondary screen and perhaps give my desk a little more room. I hesitated because I didn’t want to buy into the hype of my buddies. This wasn’t for gaming–it was 100% for work and hopefully help me with my old eyes to do more writing of my fantasy novels and world creation without the strain. The hype they gave me was understated. This is, hands down, the nicest monitor I have ever owned. The first thing that took me by surprise was how strong the base is that the actual screen sits on. Solid metal–went together easy as could be and I appreciated the screw driver that was included. The next thing that blew me away was booting my new Mac Mini up for the first time and seeing the crisp, sharp colors, contrast, and even after hours of using the computer, ZERO eye strain.ZERO.Only had this for a couple weeks–but as of this point, I’m not only converted, I’m thinking of getting another one to mount to the wall!
