*MY FIRST PREBUILT PC!*Well well well.. to be honest, I was a bit skeptical about my product when I read the reviews of hundreds of others that had bad experiences with Skytech. This skepticism was compounded as I read the reviews AFTER I purchased the product (I purchased the product because my buddy who builds PCs said this was a great deal). I admittedly got very anxious about the product, as well as its delivery to me (I chose 2nd day air shipping).First, what was unfortunate was that my shipping was delayed. As mentioned before, I paid for 2nd day shipping and it did not arrive in two days. I thought about the reviews I read where people had issues with shipping and I thought to myself… damn. Did I just get scammed out of shipping? So I sent an email to customer support and I was say almost instantaneously I received a reply AND refund for my shipping NO QUESTIONS ASKED! Fantastic!!! I was reading how customer support doesn’t get back to you, isn’t helpful, etc. So I was very surprised and happy that they got back to me so quickly. That was a huge relief. But wait, there’s more. I saw a discrepancy between the UPS shipping and Amazon shipping. Amazon said my order had shipped, yet UPS said it hadn’t received anything yet, only that a label was created. So that confused me… so I contacted customer support AGAIN, and immediately they got back to me and told me that everything on their end was completed and to wait for UPS to scan the item over the weekend (I ordered the PC thru Amazon on Wednesday). So I said ok… that’s ok.Saturday came, I got an updated saying the item was scanned they UPS, Sunday I got another update saying that my item will be delivered on Monday! Yay!!!So I received the item yesterday, and immediately I saw that the box was punctured a bit. That was a bit disheartening, but I was still optimistic. I opened the box, found a tinier box that had cords in, and began pulling out the item. The PC itself had a huge bag over it, which was pretty cool. So I pulled it out, took off the bag… and boy I was stoked. Everything looked clean physically, and I began to open the PC tempered glass door (which is very high quality IMO), and took out the safety foam from having the hardware move around o n the ride here (which I very much appreciated).Unlike other reviewers on here, I received my correct GPU, SSD, all the goods. I’m so happy about that! It’s been running great, (today is T+1 since having the PC) and I’m very optimistic about the future of the PC. I plan on purchasing a better monitor today and I will see how it all runs. But so far I am very happy and grateful everything came as advertised. Hope this helps!

I needed a new PC since owning the same one for five years and the unit was getting slower even after the HD was replaced. I had held off on going with SSD being that the tech was expensive upon release. So upon a new purchase it was long time to get with modern tech. This unit is not only good for gaming but for all other PC needs as well. I mainly purchased this specific rig for its included graphics card which seems a good bang for the buck. I added another 8G of ram as other commenters stated which helps smooth games out a bit more. The flashing LED light system is quite something and you can never tire of the many patterns and colors it offers. It runs really quiet which I wasn’t expecting with the many fans in the case. I’m pretty happy with the purchase and hope it offers me another five years of solid computing!

This is my first gaming PC, my older brother (huge computer geek) looked at all the parts and said it would be a good computer. He was right! The mouse and keyboard cords are short, and the keyboard isn’t mechanical(it’s a membrane) they both light up, they work well and don’t seem to be bad quality. They do the job well. (This is my ONLY complaint)I can play a lot of games, although I might not be able to play Cyber Punk 2077, possibly on low settings. Red dead 2 should work like a dream when I play it. Minecraft is perfect. I can see other players lagging and I’m going perfectly smooth. Most games should run max to medium settings. The WiFi feature works really well, very good if you don’t have an internet plugin your wall (like me)The different colors for the case is super cool! I love it!It’s not loud, with gaming headphones you shouldn’t even hear it. I wouldn’t expect it to be completely silent, it has fans. The quietest computer I’ve heard. It’s fast, games run smoothly, I would definitely recommend. Definitely consider it!

I purchased this computer for everyday tasks, emails, shopping, etc. I added 16 gigs of memory to aid in photo editing. My preferred color for computers is black, but the Shadow models offered were not powered by AMD processors, only Intel ( I’ve been using AMD-powered units for 15+ years. ). So I took a chance on the Archangel model. I have been pleasantly surprised! The white color is a nice alternative to my ” usual “. It’s easy on the eyes. The case and fan lights are not garish, really nice! Setup was pretty straightforward. The easy setup guide was missing, but SkyTech lists one on its website. So…so far, so good! It runs quietly and cool! I agonized over my decision for a new computer a long time. I’m really enjoying my purchase thus far.

I needed a computer more powerful than my laptop without having to spend loads more money. So I had to pick a desktop for that option. It totally surpasses all my expectations when editing, working, multi-tasking, etc. I would have given this PC 5 stars if that were it. However, here comes all my negatives. This PC came with a flawed keyboard and I have sent SkyTech 3 emails and I haven’t gotten a solution and only one response (will be almost 3 weeks since I got this computer). I had luckily a Bluetooth keyboard but it’s not good. So there goes a terrible review for customer service. Now for the rest. I have always been a console gamer but I was eager to try PC out. Turns out. It worked amazingly. I was able to get 120 fps ultra settings in Gears 5 with my 1080p 144hz monitor. However, after one or two hours of trying it out. It started to lag badly. I turned it off and slept thinking about it. I was curious about the cooling system in this and it turns out, after downloading Core Temp, this computer was hitting over 90 Celsius (recommended for AMD Ryzen CPU’s not to surpass 85)! NO WONDER! I was completely destroying my CPU without knowing it!! I then downloaded Argus Monitor to manually set the fan speeds to 100% and it still was going up 90 Celsius! As any human being, I obviously tuned down the settings and where it works best without over heating and getting 83 Celsius was Medium Settings with 90 frames per second. This whole entire process of learning PC gaming took a very big tole on my CPU, hopefully I didn’t do any permanent damage. So now I just bought a Noctua NH-U12A CPU fan (extra $100 I had to spend on top of everything else) hopefully this solves it.Just be careful! This PC does give out substantial numbers but the cooling system is totally unreliable. My verdict. I still haven’t received an email or a new keyboard from them so that I can properly use this PC. Secondly, don’t be fooled by the cooling system. RGB colors look cool but the CPU fan isn’t reliable enough to play at you max computer capabilities). I average 55 Celsius with just browsing the web. Will give an update if I ever do get a response regarding the keyboard and/or the new cpu fan. Verdict: 2 StarsEDIT: After contacting customer support and further investigating. Nvidia asks as minimum for the RTX 2070 for you to have 550w of power supply. This one has 500w. So upgrading my fan wasn’t an option unless I also bought a power supply. Very mad at the situation, and not receiving any emails back. I decided to get in contact with chat. After hours of waiting and further research, my Stars would go up to 4 but I will cut this PC some slack.Verdict:Even though the Power Supply is under powered on paper, as stock, this PC without adding anything (maybe RAM would still be fine) works great. My CPU problem: Customer Service told me to download CPUID HWMonitor. Which monitors your temperatures. The problem with the high CPU temp is that it one of my cores called TMPIN7 is like an outlier to the rest of my cores. That Core is around 10-20 C higher than the rest of them. Customer Service that that is pretty normal to have a funny core to the CPU and looking online, it looks like most computers have a funny outlier core that works differently. Having said that, my cores average 50C while gaming Ultra Settings 120fps on Gears 5 perfectly. Now, make to turn OFF VSync on Gears because for some reason, after 90fps, the game lags and does not look smooth. The only thing that doesn’t work 100% is if I want to put “unlimited” FPS, my game sort of lags when Frame rate hits 130’s. I don’t really care as much but it is still strange. Anyway, all of this could have been solved if I would have known the CPUIDHWMonitor. Perfect PC for Value.Lastly, if you ever download games, for some reason my RAM capacity would go very high to where I had been to 99% RAM usage while editing on Premiere Pro and I didn’t have any game playing. The solution is to go to Task Manager, then right click and End Task to the applications that you don’t want running in the background. I had thought that I needed to buy more RAM.CPU Heating problem: fixedFPS on Gears 5: (120fps) FixedRAM Capacity Usage: FixedPower Supply: Not Fixed but Fixed because I am not running into problems (yet).

I am not typically one to leave a review of a product, but so far I have been very impressed with the Skytech computer. I was nervous to buy a computer from them because I had never heard of the brand name but so far I have been extremely pleased with the computer. Overall it was a great value, it shipped quickly, and arrived on time. It was very well packed for shipping (even with padding on the inside of the tower) and the computer is just very cool looking. It has a nice magnetic swing open case for easy access along with a magnetic dust vent cover over the fan area. The computer even came with a nice wired mouse and keyboard which were nicer than what I was currently using. The computer worked perfectly out of the box and is very fast and stable so far. The computer did not come installed with a ton of random bloatware so that was a nice surprise as well.If I had to be picky and call out a couple of things I didn’t love, I would say that the computer tower is very large, with what looks like a lot of empty space inside. It would have been convenient if this same computer could have come in a smaller tower. Secondly the keyboard has a shiny finish on the keys and the see through back lit lettering on the keys is fairly dim which sometimes makes the keys hard to read. Again these are both very minor complaints and neither would detract from my 5 star rating. I didn’t give tech support any stars but that is only because I haven’t had to use it yet (which is a good thing) so I can’t speak to how good or bad it is. Based on my experience so far I would certainly buy another computer from this company and I am extremely happy with the computer so far.

  7. Lindsey Warner

The computer looks great, feels great, on overall is just great. The included keyboard and mouse isn’t RGB, but both are very high quality (I’m not to fond of the loud clicking on the mouse though). The whole computer starts up in around 6 seconds each time i turn it on and the initial setup took about 20 minutes to get it customized to my liking. Alright, let’s talk VR. I own a Oculus Quest and wanted a upgrade for it (Albeit an expensive upgrade). The link runs great after a bit of tampering. The fans are really quiet, nothing like the Jet Engine sounding PS4 fans, they are barely audible, but you really have to be listening. The GTX 1660 Graphics Card is plenty for anyone that’s looking for casual gaming, I haven’t streamed yet but I will try it soon. From what I can tell, there’s actually extra RAM slots on the motherboard, don’t quote me on that though as it might be un-compatible. The LED’s look really nice, I just wish that each time I change the color of the LED’s it didn’t make a loud clicking noise when I press the button. Final Verdict: A overall good computer for the price. If you know how to build computers, it’ll save you around $200 bucks by building it yourself. It costs time though, and it might be worth it to buy it pre-built from skytech. They are a great company and they care about what they get out to their customers.

I got this computer to use primarily for graphic design and it worked great straight out of the box. We did replace the RAM with something larger, because of the needs of one of my programs. But with the design of this machine that was super easy to do, even a tech amateur could have done it.It took me a while to figure out how to operate the light controls for the attached keyboard, but once I found the on/off settings button on the keyboard I felt a little silly for that.

  9. Anthony Deal

The manufacturer puts expandable foam inside the unit for shipping. In this case, the graphics card did not have screws in it and the expandable foam pushed the graphics card out of place. I was nervous at first when I saw it, but I replaced the graphics card and screwed it tight with other screws. The computer runs extremely quietly, and plays Apex Legends at 60 frames per second, no dropped frames at all. There is no bloatware.

  10. Mcelrac

TLDR:The computer runs like a champ, looks good, and was affordable considering similar options. I can’t recommend it enough for gaming.Side note: Skytech’s computers come with a mouse and keyboard. They’re branded with Skytech’s logo and don’t have any digital interface options. However they are rgb and very good quality. If you’re buying a Skytech computer I suggest you try the accessories before buying your own.Longer Story:I’ve wanted a nice gaming computer for a while now, and I recently decided to take the plunge and got the Archangel (RTX 2070 upgrade). Before purchasing, I found myself talking to friends about building one and like previous attempts, I became disinterested. My enjoyment for gaming doesn’t come from the build. I just wanted a good machine, that looked good, and was affordable.Good Machine – The game World of Warcraft has taken way more time from me in my life than I’d like to admit. I’ve played it periodically over the years and recently got back into WoW classic. I was playing on a potato of a computer and was frustrated with its capability even when running a game that came out almost 15 years ago. In comes the Archangel. This computer crushes every game I play on it running 140+ FPS on the highest settings. I’m still just scratching the service but I can’t express how happy I am. It’s literally what I’ve wanted since I discovered computer game when I was a teen. (31 now). I haven’t even been able to tax this thing more than 30% of its potential. As you can probably tell I’m a computer laymen, but I know what looks good and runs well. The graphic capability and processing power of this computer is awesome. WoW classic has never looked better. (Don’t judge me for buying this computer for WoW classic, I have no regrets)Looks Good – obviously looks are subjective, but still… This computer is gorgeous. The white case, the rgb lights and fan, clear glass side. It’s all very stylish and is what I would build if I spent the time actually learning the process. Is Affordable – like looks, this is subjective. This computer was beyond my original price range. But it also performs beyond what I expected. I took quite a bit of time browsing pre built computers. Skytech’s looked the nicest and appear to outperform other computers at similar price levels. I also had a few friends review the computer before I purchased. Each said based off of the build the money I would be saving by building something on my own wouldn’t be worth the time. Conclusion – like my tldr, this computer is wonderful. Performance I didn’t imagine at this price point. To me this computer was a good investment for my future in gaming. It’s powerful enough I won’t have to worry about upgrading anytime soon, but when that time comes the Archangel will be ready!
