I felt this was great for the price and the picture quality is comparable to my Samsung Smart TV. I love that it uses Chrome so when I synced my email most all of my information for apps like Netflix and my google apps were automatically signed in, and you can download other streaming/TV apps and music as well. I use Google Play Music over Pandora or Spotify which is why I chose this TV specifically. I freaking love it.But, the first order I recieved it seemed like the top part of the TV wasn’t properly bent down enough to cover the top part of the screen, leaving a noticeable showing of backlight. The TV worked perfectly, just a cosmetic detail I was unhappy with.I requested a return and replacement, they immediately ordered my replacement and Amazon emailed me the free return shipping information, within 10 days I received the replacement and it was perfect 🙂 I’ll probably be using this over my Samsung more often than not.

This is an update.The TV arrived in perfect condition.It works very well especially for being a low cost television.So far I have not had any problems streaming movies.I now rate it as a five.The screen was cracked when I removed it from the box.I ordered a replacement.I hope the replacement is not broken. But judging from some of the comments I am not hopeful.The padding is insufficient.I will update the review if/when I receive a working unit.

It got the 40 ” in 1080 p, The picture is really good for running high definition video1080p or 4 k has been a good experience and the sound is great I have been using the Kodi app that is preinstalled on the device with a large selection of high definition video there are files in 4k, 1080p, 720p or standard h d, it has a built-in sound amplifier available to use with movies and it is like there is a soundbar built-in, definitely fills the room with sound. The chrome cast and google assistant are functioning well and give you many apps with tons of video, music, and tv including live tv for free. You definitely do not need to have cable with this TV. I have cable but with the preloaded stuff, I never make to the cable at all. It has the Pluto TV app that gives all your live and local tv with a large selection of on-demand movies and binge watch tv shows and many other apps that work with you cable tv like HBO now, TNT, CBS, and Fox ect and when you go to the home screen it shows a large selection of movies, TV shows, and music that is shown in thumbnails based on your preferences and are available for you to watch. It has an app for all your smart home devices like your doorbell camera that works well with wifi and many other very cool applications. The google assistant gives you access to many things, just say google what’s the weather today, check my calendar, easy recipe for roast beef using a slow cooker, how tall is Sharon Stone, or play some smooth jazz and it gives you a list of all your favorites. I have give it 5 stars after having it for a month I have been happy with the performance its been a good experience.

I wanted an inexpensive television for my guest room. I’ll be using it mostly to stream movies, since I don’t watch (and don’t want) television service. The first one of these I ordered was defective, but the seller was very prompt to replace it and the return was free. The replacement arrived quickly and is in good shape. It was reasonably easy to set up. Picture quality and sound are not outstanding, but more than merely adequate. It is exactly what I wanted. The 5-star rating reflects the value for the price.

I was worried about getting a new tv. I had an over 10 year old LG and it works perfectly, it just isn’t upgrade for the new 4k features and surround sound dolby etc… But very reliable. Until it broke. It decided to take a nosedive one day so time for a new tv. I was used to my tv, unfamiliar with 4k features and sound, but excited to try it. Shipping had problems, but I got it. I hooked it up, it works with my fire stick, and I can download apps and watch all kinds of shows. There is so much offered in this tv. Sound is a bit wonky with my amazon music, but I may need to fiddle with the sound controls some more…. get familiar with them.Legs are VERY sturdy as long as you screw those screws in aall the way down till they don’t move. The legs are very stable, no looseness at all. tight. And I have Wii – and it comes with a little thee and one plug that takes my Wii plugs like they were meant to be together. hahaSo, if you were to ask me if this tv is worth the money, I say YES! GET THIS TV!!

If you’re looking for a simple quality tv that is easy to use and about as cheap as it gets, then this is the tv for you. It’s extremely light too for being a 40” tv. I had no problem hanging it on a wall mount. I was so surprised how easy it was to use and how light is weighs. The remote even has Netflix, YouTube, amazon video and google play buttons. You can’t go wrong with this!

the picture is very clean and crisp. i have the 40 inch model. i read some reviews about sound issues, i had none of that. sound is great, adjustment increments are just fine. i love how easy access everything is. i was able to pair my Bluetooth lg stereo to the TV for better sound when watching you-tube or such, which is really nice. i also like that the tv speakers are muted when i have the stereo on, and i can control stereo volume with the TV remote. a lot of TV’s even super high end ones don’t offer this. over all i am very happy with my purchase. i look forward to more high quality things from Skyworth at a great price. i’m thinking about grabbing a 32 for my bedroom.

This TV is awesome!!! I just have internet and we are watching all kinds of programs. Kid stuff for the grand baby, and just about anything you could want. It has google play store so you can down load anything you want.

Initial Review after One Week.Arrived well-packed and undamaged.Setup was easy.Starting & WiFiI had trouble getting the built-in Netflix App to launch; it kept crashing; resolved by de-powering and restarting.I’m very impressed by the WiFi strength as the TV is 300′ from the Router mounted on the roof of our main house. I was worried about a weak connection which some have mentioned, but this is not an issue on our TV.I set TV up to connect to the Hotspots on our iPhones, but they seem to disappear from the Networks list on the TV, and then reappear sometimes.The RemoteRemote has worked perfectly so far. I really like the Google Assistant feature, which worked well; just press the Round White button. Slight delay for response, but quite accurate.Quick access buttons are; Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime and Google Play Store.It takes practice to press the ‘OK’ Button without getting the arrow buttons surrounding it, which is my only critique of Remote.TV is slow to react to the Remote rarely; usually very responsive.Remote connects to TV via Bluetooth. TV found Remote on its own.BluetoothRemote uses BT.I’ve connected iPhones and iPads and MacBooks via BT so far, no problems.I plan to use BT headphones, but haven’t tried them yet with the TV.Casting VideoWe’ve used the Cast feature from our iPhones iPads via the YouTube App, and on our MacBooks via the Chrome Browser. Other browsers don’t seem to offer the Cast feature, like Brave or Safari.Linking devices to the TV was easy, via a Code the TV gives you.Adding Apps via Play StoreAdding Apps worked simply. I tried a couple “Browsers”, but they’re funky to attempt with the Remote, so abandoned them.SoundMany gave the sound a poor rating, saying you couldn’t get the sound to a low level, or that it was tinny.The sound on ours is fantastic, and we are able to reduce volume smoothly down to nothing. It also has plenty of loudness, not a problem.PicturePicture quality is fine for us. The Reds are just slightly fluorescent, but I messed with settings and corrected a bit.I don’t see much motion blur. Overall really happy with picture quality.ConstructionBezel is solid on ours, no separation from the display at all.The Remote Receiver/”Mouse”/Power Button/Power LED on the bottom of the frame is a little odd and somewhat vulnerable. We have the TV on a wall mount, so it’s not likely to get banged. You can use this “Mouse” to do basic navigation if your Remote dies or malfunctions.MiscellaneousA couple times in first couple days it has turned on by itself in the middle of the night; at the foot of our bed so bothersome, but it seems to have settled in.ConclusionQuite pleased with this TV. I haven’t owned a TV for over 30 Years and am enjoying the light weight, versatility, simplicity of this unit.

I purchased this 32″ Skyworth for my mother as a 2nd tv in the bedroom. Dad keeps the one in living room tuned to news channels all the time and mom didn’t get to watch many movies! Had it out of the box set up in about 20 minutes. Now, this being first purchase of any type of smart tv, I’ve been impressed. If we need another app just go download it from google play store! It’s pretty simple! Mom has been able to enter her code monthly that allows her to watch DISH! It’s not as handy as watching with the DISH remote, but she is able to navigate easily! I also turned off the voice command as they don’t need anyone listening to them and it would not be used. I’d have bought the 40″, however, they were all sold out. Parent’s both like the 32″ better as it doesn’t take up as much space on top of the dresser! I’m considering purchasing the 50 or 55″!
