This TV is a good choice for kids and maybe older people that would like to binge watch series on Netflix or Amazon Prime. Screen resolution is NOT HD, so don’t expect much from picture quality. Decent amount of features for a set priced well below 200.

This is a beautiful television. It’s actually the second one I’ve purchased. The picture quality is amazing. The same with the sound quality I’d never need a sound bar. My first one was bought about five years ago. It was a wonderful television until my son who happens to be disabled turned in on and off like a million times in one minute. That television bugged out for a few days. I did everything even contacted TCL directly and the situation couldn’t be remedied . Thank GOD I had purchased the insurance. Amazon credited me and I was able to get another one but bigger for just a few dollars more. When the new one arrived the first one stopped bugging and I put it in my son’s room and it was great for about a year. I just got this 40″ for my son’s room because this brand of television is the only one I love. It’s excellent! I recommend this brand to everyone I can. The preinstalled apps are excellent no need for a fire stick. The quality is so excellent that the price is a steal. I plan to buy one more for my dining room.

This is a nice, cheap TV that doesn’t require a cable box or cable subscription to watch plenty of content. It will help if you already have a subscription to a service like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime (which comes with Prime Video), Disney+, ESPN+, Paramount+, Peacock or anything else. But there is a good selection of free offerings as well. Pluto TV has lots of random free channels and just airs ads, like normal TV, and I’ve watched it quite a bit. There are other similar free services I haven’t tried, like Vudu (for movies), Crackle (TV and movies), and Xumo (movies and TV) that should work. And then you always have access to everything on YouTube.But if you are not using traditional cable service, then this TV is only going to be as good as the internet connection you provide, since all this content is streamed. You can connect it to wifi, but this TV has an ethernet port, so I plugged a line directly from my modem to the TV, which gives me a stable connection and nice picture quality. When I tried to use wifi, I did get buffering, so unless you have pretty good wifi speeds, use an ethernet cable.The sound quality is good, and there are the necessary ports if you wanted to add a sound bar or some other audio device. Picture quality is decent enough as well. This is not a pristine HD TV, but you should’ve expected that from the price. My TV arrived with one dead pixel toward the top of the screen, but for me that wasn’t a deal breaker.As far as usability, if you already own an Android phone then you’re probably familiar with how everything works. This is basically a modified version of the Android operating system designed for a TV. To get apps, whether it’s Netflix or Pluto TV, you go to the Google app store and download them there. Any app you can download and use with your phone to watch stuff will probably be available for this TV. If you aren’t good with modern technology and smart phones, you may struggle to use this TV – I’ve been an Android phone user for years.The remote is a minimalistic design, so there are no dedicated rewind/FF buttons or “back” buttons, etc. Like you would with your cell phone, you just intuitively figure out whether the back arrow will rewind when you’re in a show or take you back when you’re in a menu, etc. (I saw someone in another review complain that the TV didn’t come with a remote – mine came with a remote, two new batteries, a power cable, and an A/V adapter cable.) Again, some people who aren’t used to modern user interfaces for phone apps and that sort of thing might find the remote confusing at times.Overall, I think this is a useful TV for less than $200. For the room I wanted to put this TV in, the monthly cost for another box from my cable company would’ve been exorbitant. Watching the streaming services I already subscribe to on this TV is a better idea to me.

The tv i purchased was a 32inch, no regrets so far with 4 days of use. Quality of picture is 9/10, usage with dvd, pc or console is 10/10. Really easy to set up with you google account since i have the Android version (9.0). Sound quality is 8/10 it gets loud with a small distortion but when you see the speakers you cannot ask any better, regardless sounds clean with netflix as a plus and it brings remote!!. Apps are pretty similar as firestick but still i cannot make downloader works, but most googleplay app works fine. Regards 720P or 1080P my suggestions between this model and the previous roku 32S327 you can take this one with no hassle, quality is similar nothing to blame on this depending your usage it gets sync with 1080p and also use the HDR technology (tested with pc windows 10) i use this mainly as monitor for gaming but also for some chill time watching movies. Hope this help you to decide your purchase.

So far so good. my only wish is the HDMI were on the left side instead of the right. The picture quality and smart features are awesome. It didn’t sync with my phone but I was easily able to get it to sync with my laptop so i could avoid putting in my Hulu, Prime, Netflix and paramount plus I was previously using a Toshiba TV connected to my laptop thru HDMI this is much easier and better as I can type away on my laptop while watching and for under $150 for a 32″ Smart TV you can’t beat it. Going from a 28″ to a 32″ seems so much larger!! What a great TV. Ill update ina few weeks.

Awesome TV. I got the android version, I was disappointed that it says it only comes in 720 but to my surprise it is in 1080 and looks amazing for this price range.I am using it as a monitor mostly and it is great.Very easy to set up copied info from my phone and the tv jumped right on the wifi network and everything works great.Remote is very sensitive and works good.I read reviews about the HDMI ports being tight but mine are perfect . This really is a great little tv I got the TCL 32in android tv.

Needed some small TVs for bedrooms in a rental property and these were available for next day delivery from Amazon Prime. Not the cheapest, but we didn’t have to drive over to the big-box electronics store to buy them, so when you added the cost of the toll booths to the store and back, these were about the same price without the hassle of the traffic and the trip!

I am using this tv for zoom meetings. Setting it up to my Mac Air is easy. It light weight and a good size to move around from room to room as needed.
