This was a birthday gift from my husband, so he hooked it up last night on my birthday. The screen is cracked. So far, everything on this TV works fine. Setup was easy and intuitive. Connected with no problem to our wifi. While this is only a 720p TV the picture quality seemed as good as on a larger 1280p Samsung TV that we have in another room. It would be interesting to compare side by side a 1280 and 720p TV in this smaller 32″ size. I wonder if most viewers would notice much difference. What we particularly appreciated and in fact was the reason we bought this TV was the variety of inputs and outputs. The TV has three HDMI inputs, as well as a composite input and USB input. It has a headphone output as well as a digital audio output. We use all three HDMI inputs for a satellite box, Blu-ray player, and a DVR. And we use the headphone jack for wireless headphones. All work fine.ROKU interface was easy to use and connected easily to the streaming services we subscribe to, HBO, Amazon, and Netflix. You do have to establish a ROKU account, but you do NOT need to provide a credit card number to do that.Manual is available as a PDF on the TCL website. It is clearly written. We referred to it only when we wanted to customize the home screen and start up options. Remote is simple and easy to use. Only shortcoming of the remote is lack of capability to control other devices. So far, this looks like a great purchase, particularly given the low price.

I bought a few of these at the same time for my entire household. All of these TVs were the same size as my single Samsung Smart TV that I bought about 4+ years ago. The Samsung one got broken last year but that wasn’t the main problem. It stopped supporting the youtube feature just 2 years in. Plus it was extremely slow. It was horrible for searching the web and using the apps on it. Sometimes it would force close!Howeverz! This TV has exceeded my expectations far beyond imaginable. The set up is so easy and fast. It’s soooooooo simple. Im not savvy at all but this was so fast it felt like a breeze to set up and download all the things I wanted/needed. Connecting it to all devices was amazingly simple to do. The apps are VERY fast to maneuver through. ZERO lag for scrolling, searching, loading, and startup. ZERO disappointments overall. I haven’t used the roku feature yet BUT that’s only because we haven’t invested in cable features for years, and use youtube for everything the kids want to watch as well as ourselves. We just rarely watch cable whether we have it or not. So not sure when ill visit the roku feature of the TV, but its outstanding that its included and its so fast for the price. What the heck? It’s too good to be true IMO. 😀

UPDATE UPDATE I owe TCL my humble apologies after I got simmered down a little bit I decided that I got such a bargain on the tv that another 90$ wasn’t going to make it a horrible deal but I decided to call them directly and speak with a live agent after all I was giving up 90 of my own dollars and when I got to speak with the agent he said no that’s a scam someone has intercepted the website and was posing as a customer care agent and it’s fortunate that you didn’t give your credit card information to them or it could have cost you more than 90$ so I have to eat my hat on this review and I apologize for not correcting it sooner than now I hope this review has not cost tcl any sales I was so happy with this tv I went and bought me a 55 inch tcl and retired my vizio to my security system monitor. I like the price except for the fact that you have to pay as much as the price of the tv to use the smart features I finally connected it to the internet to set it up and I was directed to the customer service and found out that I am going to have to pay a register fee of 90$ dollars to use my tv I never had to purchase anything after I purchased my vizio and it is working very good I will be returning this crap back and I am also going to file a claim with the better business bureau because they should have said that it is going to cost another 90$ to set up the tv I’m mad as hell and very sorry I bought this crap. I have to do an update and apologize to tcl for the misunderstanding I just realized that I need to clear up the confusion with the 90 dollar registration fee it is a scam that some low life is doing when you start to set up your account and your new tv you have to do it through the website and someone has been hacking into their website and redirecting customers to them and they are posing as tcl support team and informing you that you have to pay a one time registration fee of 90 dollars in order to utilize your smart tv well that infuriated me I have never heard of anything so absurd and went off on the person I was talking to on the phone and hung up with them later I called tcl customer service to get them to refundHey and I was going to purchase a tv from a different manufacturer when the customer service person told me that they don’t have any registration fee for their product so I went back to try to set up the tv again but I did not follow the same link I had done before and I was able to set up my new television however I forgot that I had given a bad review until I came across it today so I owe tcl an apology and by the way it is a very good set and The family has been enjoying it so much that we are saving for another tcl set but with the biggest screen that we can get and I have been looking at tcl along with the other brands

Price is competitive and the smart features are nice – I can watch Fox News !!! My $2000 Vizio can’t do that or I haven’t spent enough time to figure it out on it. My Vizio TV is awesome mind you, but I can’t seem to get/find Fox News on it- small ding on an otherwise nice TV. Now this TV was a snap to put together get connected and map the channels I wanted. The speakers in it are decent as well. Only thing I don’t like about it is the remote – it has the volume buttons on the side of it. I do NOT like that – I occasionally press these when grabbing the remote. BUT it has Fox News. I have this in my garage and it does a good job there. Will see how it performs at -20F this winter LOL.

This TV is an awesome product especially for the price! Compared to a 1080P android TV, the picture and sound quality is as good if not better than our other TV.PROS: Very user friendly. Quick and easy set up, wide variety of applications and channels available to add, all easily accessible even for a tech illiterate like me. The feet fit well and is overall sturdy.CONS: I dont really have any cons of this product. My husband’s only qualm is that you cant turn on/off, change volume channele or video source without the remote. I dont personally find this an issue, but he frequently loses the remote from how small it is, lol.All in all I think this is a very fine quality product. I got it for $125 +fees, and would be willing to pay as much as $175, which is how much I paid for my other tv that is no where near as user friendly and simple. I wish they had had this in stock when we needed a second screen!

As a rule I live by that old saying that you only get what you pay for but this TV proved to be an exception to the rule. Appearance and function far exceeds what one would expect for the price. This ROKU Smart TV is exceptionally easy to set up and use. The set up is mostly intuitive which is a good thing because it didn’t come with any written set-up instruction but it does come with a installed guided set-up program. For those who would like more in-depth instruction on how to use all it many awesome features there is a 150-plus page manual online that can be downloaded free as a pdf. If I had any complaint it would be that the remote takes a little getting use to. The buttons are a little small and too close together for my my big fingers, but, then, I feel the same way about the texting keyboard on my smart phone. All-in-all, I love this product and would buy it again.

We have 3 of these 32″ TCL/Roku TVs, one for each bedroom, and we use them more than the big TV in our family room, especially during the Pandemic. We purchased an exercise machine when we could no longer get to the Y, and we purchased this TCL/Roku so that we could watch the TV without having to set up the exercise machine in the family room where it would be more visible and in the way. The TV does everything we would want it to do at a very low price. We can access our our streaming channels and use the Spectrum app to view live TV. We also love the fact that we can all watch a different movie or program at the same time in different rooms, allowing each of us to escape the news as we see fit.

I can move this to another room as it operates off wi fiI was skeptical of TCL brand but after reading many reviews and price points I took a chance and bought this.I live in a small studio where I am about 7 feet from the screen. My 55″ stopped working after two years.I am actually enjoying the smaller screen in this space.I have my soundbar plugged in which has a separate remote. It took some time getting used to an app based Roku TV .I had to be patient and give it a chance. So far no regrets. When I ordered streaming ATT service they brought me a “cable box” but with Roku you do t need it.An interesting product …so if I buy a non Roku TV I can utilize “cable box” and move this to bedroom or another room and not need a second box. That is a definite plus.

I’m using this TV to project images on rotation.Highlights:- extremely light and easy to carry- remote has very few buttons and easy to operate- was easy to connect to cable TV- watched sports on it (soccer and racing) and it looked great- speaker is ok. At least is not bad, which is often the case in cheaper TVs so marking that as a highlight- a good assortment of apps enhance its functionality as a smart TV. Signing up for FREE Roku membership, user doesn’t need a Fire TV or Chromecast to access Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, and a variety of cable channelsOpportunities:- relies on the remote for virtually any operation so you have to keep it handy as well as a set of spare batteries (otherwise can’t use TV)- along the same lines, the button installed at the center base is such a great idea. It could have more functionality: allow it to navigate the menus (up, down and sideways) as well as the enter / confirm gesture. That would give a certain level of independence from the remote control in that image rotation functionality- image rotation works. I wish there could be a way to selecting how long each image is projected. Doesn’t seem like the user can do anything to change it
