Mic works, head phone works no broken parts. Had to make sure a double snap into the headphones happen, it’s like 1 snap secures it in and a second one will be completely jacked in. At first I didn’t jack in all the way so at the main title screen it was loud but in game after the reset of the sound system into window sonic or something, I hear everything. Interesting pan system the new style stereo sound does in audio, makes me feel like a weak sound engineer. Great sound and mic worked.

Finding the right size headset, the headset with the best sound quality to give you a CHANCE in any competitive game, and a headset allowing multiple hours of wear without fatigue can be quite the chore. I have gone through quite a few headsets for Xbox One seeking something to best manage all three of these items and this headset meets them all.The price point was certainly something I was hesitant to jump for as I already attempted the TB Stealth 600 Gen 2, which I did not care for at all, and those were $100. I decided on a last ditch effort to try these ones since I have previously been fond of TB products and I am glad I made the jump. These construction, sound fidelity, and comfort are incredible and worth the money. Even more of a bonus, this headset does not need a firmware update.

Bought this for my husband as a Christmas gift but he opened the Amazon box when it was delivered. Yes i started my Christmas shopping in October. With a husband and 4 kids and 2 being high school teens i gotta start early. Anyway my husband REALLY loves his very early Christmas gift. shipping was great, it was packaged nicely and it has its own case.I would recommend to anyone And he is ALWAYS playing video games. I call him my adult child. He is military so when he is home its his downtime. He says its the best headset.

After looking at many different headsets for over a week this was my final choice and I’m very happy with it so far! Have been using them to play call of duty for about 2 months now and you can hear a real difference between the cheaper turtle beaches I was using. Mic quality and build quality is great! They feel very sturdy and should be the last headset I buy (hopefully). The speakers produce a really nice and balanced sound and and get very loud. I definitely get more kills now since I can hear exactly where sounds are coming from. It’s amazing what you can hear in game.Only negative thing about them is they may be a little tight when you first get them. All you need to do is bend the metal band on the top so you can get a gentler touch on the ears.Great if you have to talk on the phone as It just plugs right into your phone also!

I decided to jump into the over $100 headset market. Having been through quite a few cheap options I decided to drop some cash on a mid-tier headset. I had high expectations and so far The Elite Pro 2 has not disappointed. Great audio quality from the headphones and the mic has been great as well. The biggest difference for me on the jump up to the mid-tier level is the comfort of the headset when using it for hours on end. I use the headset for video meetings as well as gaming and have yet to experience any headset fatigue with the Elite Pro 2.

Doesn’t matter how I sit they conform great and don’t leave position. Noise cancellation is top tier I can’t hear anything when I have them on, lol. Sound quality has greatly improved my sense of direction and just general awareness while playing and has also picked up some things in-game my other headphones didn’t. Has these things on the sides I guess for protection that connect by magnets and add to the design. Box comes with extra accessories and is nicely put together, you can easily use it for safe storage for after un boxing. Confused about the detachable mic, I can’t seem to figure out how to get it working but it comes with another chord that has a mic built into it that works great. 100% satisfied and recommend. Price is alittle stiff but in this day and age you usually get what you pay for so I don’t regret spending the extra to know I’m getting great performance I’d definitely buy again if I had to.Edit: Got the mic working just took a little figuring out. After purchase you’ll find that there will be some configuring to be done about possible echoes/background noise and what not just play with your settings on your console/device with someone in a party with you until you get it right. There’s a ton of negative reviews and feedback on google about people sending them back or being unhappy because of it and a lot of claims that there was no solution but I’m able to play with full volume without my team mates hearing my gameplay or having vocal echoes it just takes a bit of configuration.

I’ve religiously been buying turtle beaches for years now. The product has always gotten better but this is the biggest jump I’ve seen in the quality in all respects. Until something comes out better than this headset I will always get this one when a pair wears out. If they do

Highly recommend this headset for any console and/or pc gaming. It comes with all of the necessary hook ups to be used on any system. The sound quality is superb — great for games that boast both high dynamic ranges as well as games that have more subtle, quieter sounds — you can hear it all. I often find my friends commenting that they don’t hear something in particular (such as footsteps in Call of Duty Modern Warfare) and I hear everything with these! Love em!One thing to note: You have to push the microphone in hard to get it to click into the set. Which is good because it makes it very sturdy and doesn’t feel lose like other headsets. You can hear and feel it when they click in correctly and are seated all the way.

I had bought the astro a40 set with the mix amp pro to actualy replace a set of these that had finally broken after 3 years of rough use and stretching aver vr headsets and was actually pleased at first with the a40 set but it was always lacking the paint was coming off in under 3 months and it felt just so flimsy which it is it fell off my desk and broke off the left ear completely. I went back and thought I’d give these ago with the mix amp astro provided activated Dolby atmos and I was wrong. These turtle beaches slap for gaming headphones astro doesn’t even compete in my books. All round awesome headset, sturdy, sounds incredible, isn’t a loose mess on your head and will handle a drop. Buy these.
